Developer is the worst mannered person with the worst personal skills of anyone ever born. Can't tolerate criticism. Shakeel Adam's review 11/8/21 is 100% correct. I asked for support. I was concerned about the info in the log & asked why it was collected. His reply-rude in the extreme, refused support and told me to delete the app. I'll gladly do that. To others who have problems, don't do as he demands and ask for support - leave your honest review cos it'll get same response.

Packed with valuable features, syncs mobile, Mac and PC data. You can back up your logs off the cloud so you can hold on to your data. Stable and open source. Android UI display and interaction is a little glitchy sometimes but has been only getting better with time. Thank you to the developers for years of support and commitment to this product!

This is the dive log app you've been looking for: easily configurable, intuitive, and syncs with my dive computer without me losing my mind. A big plus over the shearwater app is the ability to edit dive info. PLUS it plots the temperature profile of each dive. Is there a pro version of this?

Great app, I like that there is an open-source dive log application that runs on all operating systems. The only thing that I've noticed is that I don't see all dive details that I've added in the desktop version (e.g Ean %, tank details). Also it seems that it does work to add a dive site on Android (Samsung S10). I'd be happy to test and give more feedback to help development.

I have used many different dive logs. Many of which were paid apps and I have not liked any better than Subsurface. The open source community is fantastic and engaged. Linus did a great job in creating this app and Dirk and the folks involved keeping the mobile app up and running are incredible. I do run a few other apps for special stuff related to technical diving but, that is secondary to Subsurface. Subsurface is my main dive log.

Just started using mobile and desktop version. I've been able to download dives from Cressi Leonardo using IR, and sync through the cloud to the desktop version, so I can add more details, photos etc. Support from developer has been outstanding. Looking forward to working more on this.

Very nice and complete app. Also like that it has a PC version that is synchronized via the cloud. This way you have the best of both worlds. App is still frequently being updated increasing stability and functionality with every update.

Crashes often, hardly usable. Left-side menu appears frequently while just scrolling down. Accidentally deleted a dive, pressed undo, app crashed (of course) and the dive is completely gone. Save button often disappears and reappears when pressing back, what the f***? How can you use this app?

Really love this app, free cloud access and supports almost all dive computers. The only improvement that I could think of is a more modern UI. Brilliant app which I would recommend to any diver. 5 stars if the UI was more modern.

This has to be the best dive log app on the market and it's free!!!!! Supports most platforms so when you change your dive computer it will still work. Packed with features.

This is the best dive log ap. It's still in development but does everything I want it to. I've tried so many dive log programs including paid programs and this is the only one that I like. Takes some fiddling to get used to, but great customer service will answer questions and take care of issues. Really happy with this program.

Very nice and functional app. Sync with cloud not always immediate though, 99% of the time needing manual sync. Automatic sync with cloud seldom works.

This app has been great. It is a flexible solution that is free and has better, more responsive support than pay applications. Great to work with people with a passion for diving!

I've tried 5 times to install Subsurface on Galaxy A22, however it turned to be impossible : I merely receive the message "Subsurface-mobile will be installed on your device soon." but nothing happens. Could you please solve the problem ? Thank you in advance. Cheers Serge

Best dive log app that is not related to a dive computer company. Even has dir dive planning built into the desktop version (would love to see this on mobile one day too). Great job Linus and everyone else involved and thank you for making this great dive log app.

i miss the merge feature for dives and the map editing of spots. the latter works great in the desktop app but is broken in mobile.

Lets me keep all the necessary details of my dives in the cloud, which I can access from my mobile or pc as long as internet connectivity is available. Hasn't failed me yet, but really not expecting it to. Keep up the good work 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

An extremely versatile diving logbook with perfect support and tones of features. Best app of its kind in android.

Warning: This app doesn't really support usb serial anymore! So don't spend time in converting your logs to this app. Developer can't accept any criticism and will block use and you could loose your data! Comment of developer about herassing or abusive behaviour from my side is redicules, I could show you the conversation we had, nothing of that kind! If so he should report to Google.

Excellent dive log application. Better than Shearwater with easy to read, configure and printable pages.

Would've loved to rate this higher, especially given its potential. But tried hooking it up to my Aqualung i200 and it kept shutting down. What a disappointment

Just able to download dives from Cressi Giotto directly to the mobile app (via Cressi's interface hardware). Thanks! Love being able to go directly to my phone and then the cloud.

Unfortunate that providing honest, polite & professional feedback is taken personally by the developer. I wrote friendly & helpful feedback, even stated that I really wanted to use it. To receive a rude response from the developer is totally uncalled for. If you cannot a) ensure BASIC functionality actually works, b) don't want feedback to help you, c) don't understand that rating functionality exists to help other users, not just you, you've got bigger problems. So sad. Good luck. App deleted.

Yes. Multi platform, multi dive computer, free, cloud access, works amazing. This is the one.

Originally just a GPS import tool this app is now fully fuctional, the only free and ad free dive log app with multi platform fuctionality that I have found Dev. Very responsive

I have a older computer and can't connect even though its listening. Oceanic vt pro. Anyone have advice on getting it to work? (Already looking to buy a new computer 😂)

Can't connect to the cloud. Need to enter a code via my email, but nothing arrives to the mail. The email address is correct... strange ..
