The street overlay map is detailed enough to figure out where to navigate to catch the right train. There isn't a Ledger on the subway Kiosk board I'm not from NYC so that would have been really helpful.
Doesn't automatically work, or even open up when you're at a station, so you have to first open the app and then try to sign into WiFi normally. This effectively just lets you not have to watch the MTA ad before it logs you on.
Not too much, not too little, this porridge is just right. And you're smart enough to -not- require connectivity, nevermind registration, just to display a map. Unlike some other apps which shall remain nameless.
Just what I need. Shows the map and nothing else. No bells, no whistles, just the map. Perfect. Rescaling the size when coming in and out takes a little to much time, but otherwise it's perfect.
Received 2 sketchy notifications from this app today. Second notification advised not to open the first one. Looks like they may have been hacked. Disabled all notifications from the app. Be careful everyone!
Incomplete station information. 145th St & Broadway red line train one not in database. How an I supposed to enter the station name if I don't know exact name. I enter street and cross street. If it can't understand context, it is not a useful tool. Suggested stations given by app are inadequate - incomplete. Please, revise.
So far the best subway map of NYC I've downloaded. Having the map offline helps a lot too especially since my T-mobile connection cuts out every so often while underground.
Doesn't actually log you in automatically unless you click to join the wifi (at every station) - it does let you skip the ad gate, though.
I just us this app as a high definition picture of NYC subway and nothing else. For that end, it is perfect.
A great subway app – easy to use, accurate, and with crowdsourced train sightings. Super cool!
hats off to the developer. a great app with some good features. i had a really great time roaming around NYC.
good app as it works well without wifi which is great when you're underground. would definitely suggest for travelers.
OMG! Uses spotted trains to predict arrivals?! So much better than Transit! Beautiful, clear map, works offline... Love this
I use this app exclusively when I am in New York. As someone who doesn't live in the city, it is a great resource. I even use it as a convenient map of the city
Not accurate. I miss the Subway Time app. Bit was the only one accurate and now they've done away with it.
If you know which stop you're going to, as you know how to find a Subway entrance near where you are, you can use this app to get around town quite easily.
The accuracy of the trains on time arrival is not quite accurate. It's a pretty good app though.
Simple offline map that is zoomable and clear. Makes NY a little easier!
Clear, easy to zoom and use. Thanks!
Great app. Simple to use and it could be used without internet service
Its a map of the subway that shows when trains are arriving, what more could you ask for?
Super easy to use and navigate!
Tells me the lines at any particular station. Complements Google maps, as Google tells me which entrance to go.
Honestly the handiest, simplest, and most practical app I've found for navigating the Big old Apple.
great app, just had a week in NYC, used this everyday, back in the Uk and will recommend this to fellow travelers
This app has been a saviour as an overseas tourist, more accurate and reliable than google maps!
So useful and quite accurate; nice to be able to Zoom in when needed and find new routes
Easy to use, even for a California traveler who knew little about public transportation...Thanks!
This map is very easy to check the way you travel, recomed it 100%.
Not just a map, but live information about the situation of each train as it approaches the stops. It would be interesting to see it above a city map, to verify the places and atractions.
