The worst. The app is about as good as the rest of their products & support. It has bever worked. I'm looking for another provider after only 2 months with them. Bait & switch. Incomplete installation. Slow speeds, (50mbp) even though paying for 1Gig. Customer service reps don't honor their word. I have nothing good to say about this company.
The apps great, very easy to use, but I cancelled my service due to my bill kept going up. In my opinion internet alone is not worth $80 a month. I switched to Rise Broadband & now Im all in at $46. Ive had service a few months with them now & their service is just as good as cable, & I'm able to afford to get a streaming app with more channels so bye bye cable!!
Worked fine on Galaxy Note 5, upgraded to S9 and now the app never goes beyond the splash screen. I havent even had a chance to sign in. Now, it says update required, but doesnt DO anything. Update- After reinstall I am able to log in, but when I go to pay my bill or get contact info or, well anything beyond the main menu I get an error followed by a blank form for whatever option I selected. FIX IT DAMMIT
This is the no longer supported version of the App. If you're having trouble with it, and it says this version is out of date, you literally have to re-download another app named exactly the same as this one! It's named the "SuddenLink Support App" It's horrendous that they would refuse to update this app and Instead, make a new app altogether, but hey, it's the only way they could reset the ratings to not show a one star and tons of reviews saying the app doesn't work.
Update 1/19: Surprise. App needs an update. inside app it says "needs update." tap "update." Takes you back to Play store. No update option. open, uninstall. uninstalled, downloaded again...guess what. same freaking error. grrrr. Much like everything else with Suddenlink, this thing doesn't work at all. I shouldn't be surprised, but I was really hoping this would help me figure out some of the issues that I sometimes have with Suddenlink. At least they're consistent?
worked fine up on my phone for years. Now all of a sudden it tells me it needs an update and when I hit the update button, it takes me back to the play store app with an option of uninstalling or open. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. crappy service and crappy app.
Absolutely useless, I would give 0 stars if I could. The app is less reliable than their service and that's saying a lot. Conveniently there's no working link on the app or website to check your internet speed either.
Auto pay changed two months ago and SuddenLink tried to debit the old account. Payment did not clear and SuddenLink charged me a late fee. Tried to make contact with customer service on the app and got a computer runaround never speaking with live customer service. The App is USELESS.
Piece of junk. Chat doesn't work. Phone numbers aren't hot linked. Of course it works for paying your bill, useless otherwise. Looking for Suddenlink2go? This is what you get. Typical cable company.
Tried to pay my bill, but when I open the app is just says it needs to update, so I click update, it automatically takes me to the play store, but when I get there it just gives you the options if uninstalling or opening the app. if you tap on open it takes you back to where you started where you see update. So I just uninstalled 🤨
Terrible customer service! For an internet provider you would think they would have at least a working website or app or something!! But none of it works!! Literally try it out and you will see. If you cant remember your info to log in... well you are out of luck with getting any help because anytime you call you get told that that department is closed! TERRIBLE! I CANT WAIT for fiber to be done!!!!!
Trying to contact and hear from SL Support is like expecting birds to start speaking English. We came back from DIRECTV, where secretive price jackings and crappy service had become the norm...Sigh. the remote is seriously lacking. At least DirecTV had a very good remote. Features have stopped working. At least--unlike DirecTV--we have no interruption of TV during rain.
Website would not let me pay my bill so I downloaded this app. App had minor fixes on 01/22/19, three days ago. When I opened app is said to update, but keeps going through a loop. I attempted to pay my bill, but it's impossible this way or online!
Worst customer support of all time. Website has been down since September 1, apps don't work ,keeps redirecting to another app. Have not been able to pay the bill or trouble shoot my speed issue for about 2 months
Used the app for the last several years, all of a sudden it doesn't work. I can't login. It says "login failed," but I can literally login online.
App has continually crashed everytime I try to load my bill into the app to pay it. And now it tells me that there is an error accessing my account and backs me out of the account. App is broken. please fix ASAP!!
Constantly crashes. Whenever i try to look at my bill, profile, etc. it goes to loading then crashes. Definitely need to fix this.
Broken App. It worked perfectly until the January 22nd 2019 update. When I open the app it tells me it needs to be updated and then crashes. Needs to be fixed!
Suddenlink has been a pain in the prosterior since we signed up when moving here about 6 1/2 mos ago. Bad equipment, poor installation, overpriced service and now the gift card for signing up has been voided because they sent the bill late which we paid right away. It was just a come on to sign with them. Bad company now that they have been bought out by Altice. Not at all satisfied, they do not compare with companies like Spectrum.
Updated the app and it immediately went into an infinate loop saying it needs to update. This was after it crashes everytime I attempted to use it.
doesnt f***ing work! i try to open my bill and it keeps crashing. it's about as reliable as the internet service itself.
App worked fine until a message stated "update required." App keeps looping when you try to run the update. Will not let you continue even after reinstalling.
The app update locked me out. it says an update is required! I Uninstalled and reinstalled it but still get the same error. SO now I'm locked out with an unusable app!
Literally the least reliable app ever. I'm certain the cost to fix it would easily be covered by one month of my ridiculously high internet bill. How can a technology and communications company have such a dismal app.
app crashes a lot. only thing its really worth using for was to pay your bill update: completely useless can't even pay bill because all it does is error.
the app never works. it constantly crashes. can't look at my profile or pay my bill. i would give it zero stars but it won't let you rate that low.
App matches service meaning terrible. For months I've been unable to view my bill, account, nothing in the app. Most times crashes upon launch or says server error because thats the way to instill confidence in customers. Support is useless and a complete joke. The whole thing should be scrapped and replaced with a simple mobile site instead. I long for the days of complaining about Comcast...at least the tools and support were functional.
