This app requires root!
This app WILL NOT give you root! It installs a sudo script to your system so you can have a more desktop style approach at using root in adb shell and Terminal Emulator.
This will install a sudo script to your /system/

Why would you want this? For any power user who uses Linux or Mac OS X on their computer, you will know the sudo command and you may often type sudo instead of su -c, out of habit, in adb shell or Terminal Emulator. This will let you use sudo like you would on your PC.
This app makes modifications to your system ROM. We take no responsibility if you brick your device or mess up your system!
If you decide you want to undo this, or you need to remove it for any other reason, you can do so at any time by opening the app and clicking remove!
After installing, you can remove the app and keep sudo, but you will need to reinstall the app to remove sudo.
No data is collected directly from the app, however, some data may be gathered and shared with us for crash and bug reports by Google Play according to Google's privacy policy.

This is a dirty app I have ever seen this can't enable the sudo on my phone
Let me clarify something; a noob or an idiot wouldn't understand what a sudo is so for those who rate this app a 1 star review they are the idiot who don't know how to use this kind of app. Question developer if i uninstall the app would the sudo be also uninstalled?(without uninstalling sudo manually from the app?)
this installed 2.2.1 not 2.2.2 and it wouldnt actually install sudo :(

Wonderful I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy S8 (7.0) and I can guarantee that this application works on the Galaxy S8.
with no unnecessary bells & whistles. The script it installs works fine too.
I just need to start using sudo instead of su. I'll be getting a laptop and installing Kali Linux on it in July, so this'll be great practice.
As a frequent ROM developer, when working in an ADB shell, I would constantly type "sudo" and run a command, and then have to re-do the command using "SU -c", but now, with Sudo for Android, my workflow is much simpler. I wish all ROMs included this.

Doesn't work on android Linux 4.1.1. The blu vivo 4.3. No matter how many times you mash the button, this app don't do anything at all. The Google ui needed update to v.6.0.1. Once Google services ui updates done, sudo worked fine.
Works like a charm on CM12 built-in terminal emulator
For some bizare reasobn "su -c" just won't pass on cmd line arguments correctly. This "sudo" implementation does. Saved my scripts big time!

Great little helper since KitKat. Only installable through recovery in Nougat. Still great :-)
