Sudoku

Overall, excellent. The developers have done a great job with this, and it's easy to use and informative to boot. The two improvements I would make would be: -to allow the player to enter a custom puzzle (from a newspaper, for example) - and secondly to have more background options than just the various colors of bamboo texture. I'd have liked something more subtle or subdued.

Once I learned the tools of the game, super quick solutions happen. And if you want to learn the advanced tricks and patterns, the hints will teach you. So you can easily advance your own capability. Or not, if you already know it.

Good game, not gunked up with ads. Appropriately hard on expert level. Try the hint button. It doesn't just give you a number, it gives the technique needed to move forward. A great learning tool.

There's a MAJOR flaw with this game. You have to select the square you want first before putting in numbers. This is majorly annoying when entering number candidates in a row or column. For example, instead of being able to put the number 9 in each square in a row as a candidate, then move on to the number 8, instead I have to work each square individually one at a time, then manually select the square next to it before selecting a number to put into the square. App deleted, useless to me.

I like the hint system. It gently guides you to the solution and teaches you how to solve various situations. I am now able to solve most of the hard level puzzles on my own, and when I am stumped, the hints end up teaching me a new solving technique.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I've come across 3 puzzles in a month that are unsolvable because of their poor programming and algorithm. I ignored the first 2 after wasting a lot of my time, so by the 3rd I wrote to them, with screenshots, pointing out the errors. Instead of replying to my issue, their rep. wrote a whole lot of nonsense unrelated to the puzzle I sent, wasted my time and DIDN'T do a damn thing to address it. Save yourself, this game is bust.

There are several sudoku games on Play. The fancier ones have fancy UIs but are also ridiculously expensive adfree or have awful, intrusive ads constantly thanks to greedy developers. This sudoku app does everything you need it to for a game of sudoku, and does it with less intrusive advertising. There are still adverts but they are not in your face, nor are they as annoying.

This has a great interface and smooth game play. Adds to keep it free but they're not bad really. Good time waster that makes you think! 5 ☆'s!

Coloration makes difficult to read rows and columns easily. Plus it keeps flipping back to this page when I want to start a new game.

excellent. 1or 2 quick ads you can click out of, then you're free to play the game at peace. the system runs very smoothly. highly recommend!

Was a great app for sudoku until they updated it and now it's the only app on my phone that randomly switches between vertical and horizontal view on a whim. They say they have a new app and if this is how they're getting people top download the new app, consider me gone.

Every one knows the basic of how to play sodoku. What I love about this game is. If you make an error you'll know it immediately its red. With the note feature and process of elimination you can correct it immediately. Ten stars👍👍

this app is really well designed to help guide users (if option selected) like my Mom who was painfully guessing at her puzzles before I introduced her to this app... which she keeps raving about! also minimal ads -- excellent.

love this game and you only get ads at the end or start of each game. it's brilliant for people with bad sight as the numbers are big enough you don't need to wear your glasses, you can play this when and where ever you please

expert level is quite challenging, love it. but ads popping up after every games , annoying.

Really good sudoku game, great qol and ads aren't intrusive. However this app can be a big drain on the battery and makes my phone run hot. Would be 5 stars if better optimised

Great game for passing lots of time. Skill levels and statistics add to the challenge and keep a running progress. Numbers light up to hilight what you're focusing on, then dim out below when completed. Overall an excellent free game. It is one of those where the inclusion of ads between games - not during games - do not frustrate game play itself, so for that reason, I have overlooked them to give 5 stars, which in my opinion is well deserved for what the game is.

Play this for years with no trouble oh, a few ads here and there but overall a very good experience up until yesterday. Seems they misplaced the filter that used to keep numbers within a box and row from showing up in empty spaces. I uninstalled it and Will Wait some time before re installing it when the problem is corrected. So I'm coming back that I uninstalled this app, reinstalled it, and now it works fine. Five stars

I enjoy this app because there are very few ads. It's nice to know there's "hints" if you get stuck and want to use them. Numbers light up so show same numbers at a glance. It is for sure easier to play this way than on paper. So I'd recommend someone who is just learning to play start here and then challenge themselves to paper because there is less advantages.

Great sudoko game! There are ads which is understandable but they're not excessive like I've experienced with other apps.

I love the play options. I try not to use the clues, but when I do, the explanations help me improve my technique.

Been playing for only a week and so far I like it. No problems. Months later I still enjoy this. It allows my mind to chill out. I only play the expert level now. The game rarely has issues and when it does, I log out and back in. I don't like the ads that always pop up in the beginning but it's a freebie so I guess they need to make money somehow. At least they don't interrupt me in the middle of the game like some apps do!

Only used it a few times. I like the way I can go away and then come back to game and it remembers my positions. It is far better than previous Sudoku's I tried as this one did not add any adverts in whilst playing one entire game. It is really awful and distracting from the game but so far this app hasn't done that. It took some time to do this medium puzzle I might add. That's a good point, only hope it keeps that way. Worth a full 5 stars.

One of the best classic Sudoku apps! Very few adds, and they're short and only between rounds. I love the 5 difficultly levels, so you can really tailor the challenge to exactly where it's hard enough but not too frustrating. Love the auto-note option to save time (so u can narrow down the right digit faster). Much better than a few other sudoku apps I've tried. I LIKE that there's no story or goal to earn points to buy/unlock/customize, but that might be lacking to others. Just classic puzzle

Straightforward app. Offers puzzle difficulty from Beginner to Expert, and several options that allow you to change the board style for easier visibility to automatically fill/clear pencil marks for faster learning or times. Speaking of time, it records your best and average times; and there are leaderboards if you're into that. Has ads that appear between each new puzzle or if you close/open the app during a puzzle. 4 stars cause it's the only sudoku app I've used.

I'd say it's the best go to app for simple sudoku playing. I was looking for a nice easy just relax and play app and I found it. There are very minimal ads, I've only had to watch one at the start of a game. I can close it and when I open it again my progress is saved. I do not get bothered with a pop up to buy something every time I open the app or do anything in the app. So refreshing, thank you.
