Sudoku

Great app, the sudoku games are nice and challenging, the tutorials for learning the sudoku solving techniques are pretty clear, the app is well designed and the ads are non-intrusive. Probably just lacks the option of being able to turn off the neon colours when selecting a number/cell in-game, for eye-comfort, especially when playing in a darker setting or just for sensitive eyes, but that's not a big deal at all. Love this app 👌

Non-stop enjoyment for those who love Sudoku!! There are multiple styles (my favorite is Squiggly), multiple levels of difficulty, and a HUGE number of puzzles within those levels! Oh, and multiple options to playing too. It appears to be endless fun! I feel like I'm never going to run out of puzzles because once I'm finished with the 500 I'm currently working on, I can just change styles or levels. I love this app!!

The best Sudoku app around. Not only is does it give you options to have more complicated style puzzles, like squiggly, but I LOVE the fact that it will learn my handwriting & then I can just write in the number. It's very intuitive, fast & convenient. But, what truly makes the app stand out is the tutorials. It actively teaches you new strategies for solving the puzzles. If you have to use a hint, it gradually reveals the answer in steps, explain how and why it must be so. Fantastic!

It's been fun. Feels a little too easy when all the 5s light up when i press 5 but good game! The finger drawing motion doesn't work like the tutorial says. Wish there was an easier way to get rid of multiple guesses in one square other than selecting all of the ones you don't want. #21/550 in Hard section is wrong. Also sometimes the maybe guesses disapper randomly so you cant rely on them. Aftet game 50, program crashes every game.

I'm a very experienced Sudoku player; played this app for a while now, seldom use 'check puzzle' feature but when I did recently, it told me everything's OK when it obviously wasn't (eg two 4s in the same row). Tried it again on another game with a similar result. If you can't trust the game to be accurate, it's pointless. There's so many other Sudoku puzzles available, why bother with this one? The 'write' numerals option is unnecessary and more trouble than it's worth. Uninstalling now.

A great app. Beginner friendly since it also includes strategies also useful for someone who had played lower difficulties and wanted to challenge themselves on higher levels. Ads are minimal. UI looks simple but that's fine with me. Totally recommend for all users that wanted to past their time or for someone who wanted to practice their sudoku skills.

I like the interface of this particular Sudoku app, since I don't have to tap any pencil mark button to start marking, unlike 99% of other Sudoku apps. INV is also insanely useful in the early stages of a game, but also extremely rare among Sudoku apps. Automatic switching between numbers to tile and tile to numbers is a huge plus. My biggest complaint is the disappearance of the Inverse button after hitting undo. Tutorial mentions Nightmare difficulty but there is only Tough.

I got this to replace the Handwrite Sudoku app and really like it! You can choose to write the numbers in instead of tapping a square then selecting a number. The app even let's you create your own version of numbers by allowing you to assign any shape you draw to any specific number. It also learns your specific writing style to help with number recognition. It does all of this very well! It needs: 1) A way to turn off the 'you wrote the number too small msg'. 2) writing 'C'=clear cell

I'm quite satisfied with this game app. It's not as easy as it might seem in comparison to similar Sudoku solvers. If you like difficult, hard to figure out puzzles, this is the one of the best apps to choose. Thanks to the arrangers who made this more of a competition style process to complete in better time frames.

This app highlights all the pencil marks and cell background as you click each number, if you set it up that way.Ive been trying to learn the xy & xyz wing and really like that the tutorial uses the game you're playing to explain the strategy.If you click"hint"it will tell you"look for a swordfish"or"look for an xwing" before it reveals the answer,or you can click next to go through the steps. You can also just choose to use the tutorial.puzzles too easy at all levels.

This is the best sudoku app out there. It has a huge number of options and levels of difficulty,, and is easy yo use. When I changed phones this app didn't transfer over. I tried many others but they were not on par with this one. I managed to get it reinstalled and am loving it.

note functionality is pretty terrible. have to mark the number then tap cell again to modify the number to a note, but the first tap cleared all other notes in that sector. --- In response to the developer- the app never put the numbers back for me, it just cleared them. If it worked the same way you described, it would have been great.

First time leaving a review. The game is great, love the customization of levels. The controls do take a bit of time to get used to, especially pencil marks on double press. Other than that, the game is fantastic and possibly the best sudoku app on the store.

Play is always excellent, optional settings for computing pencil marks and automatically deleting pencil marks also make this app the best of all Sudoku apps I've tried. I also appreciate the tutorial and error checking tools. Too bad there are multiple copies of this app under different developer names. Very confusing, don't know who deserves the credit.

Started great and constantly improves. I have had the same app over 3 phones, and it was great when I initially got it. Since controls have only improved, my favourite being if I check for mistakes it only marks the small numbers the first time and all the markings disappear easily. Highly recommend. 😉

Developer actually reads and reacts to reviews! Has quickly fixed a problem specific to just one model of smartphone caused by a Google bug. You won't get support like that for many apps. Game itself is the best sudoku available. Clear interface and easy to use and with help that first hints at a solution then gradually provides more clues and instructions if you are still stuck.

Should be able to combine the different input methods: other Sudoku puzzle apps allow seamless switching between entering values and selection of cells. Great otherwise, with lots of different variations, 5 difficulty levels and a squiggly mode I haven't seen before..

I had a problem and had to reinstall the app. It kept shutting down. I was also having a problem with filling all pencil marks. It added to all squares including those that I had determined the possibilities. Now I'm starting again since reinstalling. Working so far.

Menu system is deficient. If a poor choice is made for gameplay, there is no intuitive way to reverse it. Accidentally hit "INV"? Too bad! Unless you're successful at groping around , you're stuck with it. Ruins the game.

Took a little bit of time to understand the menu system and how to delete an open game instead of resuming it. But playing it is great! Original numbers are thicker, the note system works well, and the app also doesn't try to play for you 🙂

Challenging. I enjoy this came because of the squiggle boards. My father and I challenge each other on who can complete it faster. It would be fun if there was a tournament or challenge feature so we could see each others progress.

I really like the colored squares, it not only adds to the fun visually but helps you figure out where the numbers go. Great game. The only other feature I'd like to see are more squares interlocking, to make it more challenging.

Best of the many Sudoku games I've tried. In-play hints are very good at teaching the advanced solving techniques. Excellent tutorial. Many game variations. Colors too harsh in the color-themed variation so suggest toning down the intensity. Ads are not a problem and do not detract from play.

I love all the different levels and styles. I can play an easy puzzle when I dont have much time or when wanting more of a challenge a medium or challenging puzzle. For when I really want to be challenged there are hard and tough puzzles.

Amazing puzzles and the ads aren't intrusive. The only small complaints I would have is that the menus are a bit too bright and there's no input mode for short presses only selecting that number

Whenever I have to replace my phone, this is my go to sudoku app. I've tried others, but always come back to this one. Easy to use, great tutorials, and many different game challenges.

Simple, fun, minimal adds. Game variants gives tons of puzzles to keep you busy for a while, and the control options make it easy to play. Best Soduko app I've found, I keep coming back to this one every time.
