Not the most beautiful Sudoku app, but it offers coloring of cells and pencil marks, as well as a great hint system. My only complaint is that the scoring doesn't give a penalty for using number highlighting. With highlighting turned off (my usual preference) I score around 10%, but with highlighting turned on, I score 30-40%.
Simple, brilliant, does what it's supposed to & is my preferred fallback. Perfect "old school" sudoku you play w/o distraction. I know NO OTHER game app w/o constant updates, music, colorful "new" tiles (as if I were a child or that's why people play it), flashing lights, gimmicks, "come ons," obsessive points, eternal levels, "another game!" ads (this is the ONLY game I'd actually buy!), or feedback nags. Everyday it has new games. Thank you! Never change. Needs no improvement.
The best sudoku. Thank you. I love the levels, I love the new set of puzzles every day. I love the controls in landscape. Just A+++. Just saw comment about rectangles. I've caught that iMacs or twice in ... five years ... of having green using this app. Maybe under 0.1% of the games I've played? I like discovering them, actually.
It's the best sudoku game. Learning part helps understand the logic, strategy of the game. Everything is simple, easy controls, free hints - everything works great. I played it for years, and I never was dissapointed.
it was my go to game for years,, idk why the last update messed it up so badly.. it NO LONGER marks incorrect number placement. hard to remember..been so long,, but the wrong # would show up in red (I think). it WAS the BEST sudoku game. I haven't had a sudoku game since this one started malfunctioning. I wish it's creator would come back & fix it. I had the Free And Paid & I would eagerly buy it again if someone would fix it. it Was hands down the best on the market.
great game, I learned a lot since I've started playing. I have a request though: I would love to be able to create and solve my own puzzles, I would even buy a pro version for that.
This is the best sudoku app available. But it only lets you play one game at each difficulty level each day unless you get the paid version. The free version of this same app on iPhone lets you play any number of games each day for free. As a result I try to only play this on my iPhone, which is a more polished version anyway. TLDR: Either go directly to the paid app or forgo playing sudoku on android at all.
I enjoyed the daily challenge, but the adds are 30 seconds and stop my music or book. I play too many games to be constantly sitting in silence watching a candy crush add. I would rather pay for sudoku than waste my time with long adds.
How come this app got so much high ratings? It is ugly like hell and the user interface is not practical. Worse, it accepts pencil marks in incorrect position. The hint system maybe good but tbe app is so prehistoric I prefer to pass. I am ready to pay anything for a good Sudoku app. If you want the best, try Sudoku 10000 plus or Andoku3. And you will not look back. Oh this is not newbee rant. I can solve advanced level puzzles. The bad GUI of this app makes the job harder.
The best Sudoku I have tried as it is super easy to write the number you want in without having to press multiple buttons to get what you want written down.
Very good, just would be even better if there could be a daily leader board for each difficulty.

Why are you requiring access to other info on my phone? I loved this app on my previous phone, but I will not be re-installing it if you continue to require access to other info on my phone.

Fun, reliable app. I've been using this sudoku app for years. One free game per level every day -just the right engagement for me. I play in reverse order so i can be sure to get the challenging puzzles done and check my score. One suggestion related to the more tab after a compete game: I would like to see the times and numbers at or better than my score rather than the levels below. I see you big brains and nimble fingers out there! Thank you
