Unfortunately my 1 stars is for excessive amounts of notifications. I'm talking at least 50 to 80 a day. I've paid for a years subscription I'm seriously considering a charge back. I've turned off notification even in the system and this app turns itself back on within a matter of hours. Do NOT PLAY. This app is phishing and manipulating the phones regardless of what we choose.
A lot of fun features in this game but it annoys me when ads don't silence along with the game sound. There's a lot of ads too. It interrupts my music or makes loud sounds if I'm trying to pass the time in public. Unfortunately, paying to remove them is a subscription, instead of a one-time purchase, which means I don't particularly want to do that. Probably will just switch apps.
Not a serious player, but I do like to pass the time with it. Totally uninterested with the battle, dont like the ice challenges. The ads are definitely a downer, just so many and so long in cases. Subscription is not outrageous like some others, but the game is so simple (graphics, animations ect) that it seems unnecessary, with so many ads they could cover any costs needed to keep it "updated". That being said putting the ice challenge into the daily is a no go for me, even without ads.
I am complaining about the battle mode, it's so confusing and hard to tell if my opponents are bots or real player. The bars in the upper doesn't move sometimes, also it suddenly moves when i'm already in the middle of the game or close to win the puzzle. It just move rapidly without me noticing it, and it's annoying since sometimes it doesn't move yet it wins. But otherwise, i like it. But i hope you would put color themes, both night mode and light mode hurt my eyes.
One part that frustrates me is there is no good way to pay to remove the ads. For apps I use a lot, I usually pay a flat fee to remove ads, and it's worth it to me because I'm supporting the developer and making my gameplay more enjoyable. The only option to remove ads on this app is to pay for a subscription, which while not super expensive over time, is a bit of pain. I'd much rather pay 5 or 10 dollars to just take off the ads. Besides that, the game is quite fun. I like the auto-complete feature and some of the other bonuses you can get, along with the challenges. I just wish the ad removal was better.
Ads. I can handle the occasional ad, I understand it's a business. You get an ad after every game. I paused a game once and when I wanted to return to the game I had to wait through 2, 30+ second ads that were both non-skippable. I've had some sudokus that I spend more time watching ads then I do playing the game. Otherwise it works well. The ads just ruined it for me. Never again.
Great little app to pass the time. So many advertisements it's unfortunate; Load the app, get an ad. Start a new puzzle, get an ad. Finish a puzzle, get an ad. interested to see what the daily challenge is? First you need to watch this ad. I've taken to putting my phone on airplane mode when I play to avoid the ads (a much better experience).
Too many adds. Can't finish a puzzle and see what your score/time is or continue to another puzzle without a bunch of adds popping up. You click out of one and another pops up. It's extremely annoying. I downloaded it to help me relax but it just frustrates me more than anything else. I love playing Sudoku but hate this app. It would be great if they would fix that. Or, maybe I'll just find a different app that's hopefully better than this one.
what a money making machine. The game itself is great but the adds are insane - and I mean the full screen with blaring audio kind! if you so much as pause for a second, there is an add before you're allowed to continue. most of which are only skippable after a 10 sec minimum. There is also an add between every round, no matter if you finished in 2 minutes or ten. the only way to get rid of them is a self-renewing subscription!? you can't opt out of auto renewal. I just want to play in peace!
Although it's nice to play a quick game and be able to play against people, there are way too many ads to the point where even pausing the game will initiate another ad. It's extremely annoying and gets in the way of having some fun sometimes. I recommend if you need to pause the game, just minimize the entire app and then come back in whenever you're ready.
Developer created lots of fun ways to develop skills of deduction, speed and accuracy, but there's some glitches that need addressed. For example, when I've finished a game and come back from an ad, the game is still sitting there with the timer still running. Also it doesn't always keep up with my scores for speed and accuracy. Still overall, it's a fun free game to sharpen your mind and develop patience with in-your-face ads.
Great app and easy to use but way too many ads. Before & after every puzzle. Yes that means 2 ads between every puzzle if you play a few at a time. Then a bonus 60 sec ad every 3 or 4 puzzles when you get a reward. Very few allow you to skip after 5 seconds. Most make you wait a full 30 sec. I have a few games I've paid to remove ads, but those are apps where the game was still playable with them. A bit greedy to make so obnoxious you have to buy ad-free or leave. Here comes the uninstall
Obnoxious amount of adds I thought i would be a good app to learn sudoku but i felt like i was being bombarded with adds. Also i turned the timer off in the settings and there was still a ticking clock right there in my face to distract me, adds at the bottom of the game there more adds conveniently placed to distract me even more. You could at least try and balance the game play time with the adds in some small amount and it might have been worth my time and attention.
Good Sudoku, horrible ad experiences. Everything causes an ad to run. Pause the game for literally 5 seconds to answer a text? 30 second ad. Answer a phone call? 30 second ad. Accidentally switch to another screen and come back in less than a second? 30 second ad. 80% of the ads cannot be skipped and 90% of them do not have a mute button so you have to turn the volume on the phone down. Will look for a better sudoku game.
This app was the hands down best for doing Sudoku. Well it was, at least at a point when there wasn't ads or wasn't drowning in them. Now it's ridiculously filled with them and I just can't stand blasting through a board just to watch an ad, then another to start a board, then pause it for work and come back. Guess what, another ad. That's a hard pass from me now
This game has too many ads. I appreciate ads are a necessary part of FTP games, but I can't play any puzzle without an ad before and multiple ads after. You also get ads if you choose to restart. And my "favorite" is when my thumb accidentally bumps the banner ad at the bottom, but before I can resume the puzzle after backing out of the app store, I must watch yet another ad! I gave 2 starts instead of 1 b/c sometimes there's a long-enough break between ads that I can play sudoku, which is nice!
Was fine at first, simple sudoku app. I guess it updated or something, because tonight- start a puzzle, ads. Finish a puzzle, ads. Watch the ad after a puzzle, gives you a "prize" with no X option and a "collect" button that brings you to- you guessed it, an ad. Ads are a necessary evil so developers can make money, I understand. I get it. But there becomes a point when it's overbearing and you lose users.
I give it a one only because zero is not an option. Most ads I've ever encountered in any app. There are 3 to 7 non-skipable ads inbetween games. TERRIBLE, simply terrible. You can't get into any game rhythm. At all. I do like the playability of this game, so I checked out buying it to removing the ads, right? The cost was shockingly high — so shockingly high I can't even remember it. But it was higher than any game I've ever seen, and one of the very highest of apps in general.
The ad for this game (when playing other games) is silly ("if you solve this your IQ is 220"??! really..) and also annoying since you can't mute the sound. And yes, you can't skip it, you have to let the whole thing play (~30 seconds) before you can close it. It's the same length as most other ads since they use the same ad service. Most of them at least have mute buttons on the screen from start.
This game was great in premium version - which I paid for some time ago. I guess they've decided to switch to a subscription model instead, and now I have to pay again. The most annoying part is that the ads I paid to get rid of are worse than ever. If you pause the game, you need to watch an ad to continue. If you switch apps for a minute, you need to watch an ad. If you do anything at all you must watch an ad. I'd rather just uninstall than be manipulated into paying for a subscription.
The puzzles are great, the ads make it not worth it. I gave it 2 stars because the puzzles are great and I love the extreme ones. But it is so ad heavy, every puzzle both before and after have an ad. They have challenges you can do, and I sent a suggestion in that if you win, you could win an hour ad free.
Sometimes it plays 2 ads before the game, one to open the app the other after you pick a game. After you beat the level it gives you another ad. So 3 total ads, all HD video at 5 to 10 seconds each. Say goodbye to your data. Not a good travel game.
The game on my phone i spend the most time on i honestly love it. Ads dont bother me as much since i dont spend all day trying to solve sudokus. Only problem i have is the online mode comes off very unfair. If a game is easy for me the other person struggles, and when i struggle it is easy for the other person. Games are never close which makes me question whether we are even playing the same sudoku. In classic mode some games also dont match the difficulty you choose, pick easy and you get hard
It's great but... The amount of ads I see in a second is astronomical. if you could slow it down on the ads I would have given it at least 3 stars. The game play is great but not for beginners. 1, It acts like that teacher that just repeats the question. 2, The ads... 3, Fast is good, it doesn't act like it's name.
The app is pretty good for the most part. Sometimes ads are freezing the app. Lost 1 star I am seeing over 750 mb (on pace to use over 1 GB) used so far this month which is crazy for something that should cache most of the content locally. If it is the ads, then the app needs to go. While I have an unlimited plan, I try to keep my utilization under 3 GB to get a discount. There are other people that don't have these plans and it would be problematic for them. Lost 1 star. Please fix this.
Too many ads. One app for every single occasion which is somewhat still okay. The most unbearable thing is ads every time you pause the game. If you pause and switch to other app such messaging, you will have to watch two ads. And the latest ads need like 30 seconds for it poped up twice. This ruins everything.
I have played this for years and although the basic game and achievements are good, adding the battle element and changing the events into a never ending trail was not. I still played daily and would still be doing so if I hadn't got a new phone. All my years of playing have disappeared and my level 10 mastery is back to zero. Heartbroken and uninstalling.
