Sudoku (free, no ads)

Nice, but... I use the little numbers for what a cell cannot be. This app automatically updates the little numbers based on what a cell can be. It does this silently and the result is that I lose progress. It would be nice if there were an option to disable this behavior. Other than that it is a great app.

I've been enjoying this app for several months. I'm a total novice at sudoku so there may be better apps but I like the UI, it doesnt have annoying ads, and the difficulty is just right where I can finish the easiest in 5 mins or hardest in 20+ which is perfect if I'm waiting on something and need to kill time which is exactly why I have games on my phone.

Love the simplicity. No ads. No purchases necessary. One problem I encountered was that I solved a puzzle (all numbers were filled in and no errors were showing), but the clock kept ticking as if I had not solved it. ?? Hopefully it is a fluke and only will happen on rare occasions.

Kudos to developer for making this ad free and without needing any dodgy permissions. It ought to be great but I just can't get used to the interface and so uninstalled as I kept finding I was accidentally changing numbers or putting them in the wrong place. I have used many other sudoku apps before without having this problem. Suggest making interface simpler and more coherent, perhaps copy interface from other sudoku apps? Also instruction text in splash screen at start is unreadably small

The best sudoku of all. The fact that it has zero ads only makes it a must download. Two suggestions.... 1st, please add a feature when all numbers have been completed /found. Let's say that you have inserted no. 9 correctly to all boxes then make the no. 9 in the right inserting number panel... Blue or a color. 2nd, make the given numbers choosable but not changable and when you choose a number make existing similar numbers same color. E. G, at a given table, one of the given numbers is 5. I start playing and add more fives, and when I choose 5 I can see all fives in red. This way it's easier for the eye to find numbers.

I was hoping for a simple sudoku app; this one misses the mark. The app doesn't look too great, in addition to questionable decisions such as a garbage icon starting a line of countdowns, which don't appear to do anything. I stopped playing when I reached a game so broken that it literally could not be completed. But hey, no ads.

i cannot question the value. The file size is much larger than other Sudoku apps. I suggest removing some of the whizbang graphics and effects to reduce file size. I agree with other reviewers - the initial icon sizes were frustrating. A nice feature that some games have is to highlight all existing numbers of the same value. My final comment is about accuracy. My very first game appears to have errors (or I misunderstand the volor scheme). i will attach two screenshots if possible.

I play this app all the time. It's great and I have helped my friends who play Sudoku find it too. The other Sudoku games I have tried in the past do not seem to have a dark mode of any kind and this one doesn't specifically have a dark mode either, but it's got a nice little tone and I when I'm not playing during the day, I can play this until I fall asleep.

Was nice at first, but I would say 10 to 20 percent play were not succesful because the app would not be able to reject or accept my results. I think there is an inherant flaw in the validation of the result where it doesn't cross check the results.

Love the app. And it's simplicity. Definitely should mention the ad free experience. I started sudoku with this app. And learned quite some techniques after wards. Still love using this app though I have few other. Best app for beginners and even intermediates.

No adds, GREAT SETTINGS, I like that I can turn off auto help features, I don't like them. Notes and different color option for input numbers is great.

I am sure the game works just fine but the UI & UX are from 2 decades ago. I should struggle with the puzzle and not the icons or colors. Sorry, but for me it is unplayable.

Good mix of puzzle difficulty. Quite a few broken puzzles though - where 2 or more solutions are possible but only one is considered correct.

The only reson for this 5-star is the stupidest 1-star reveiw ive seen complaining about obnoxious ads when there is clearly no ads, i dont like sudoku but i dont like people who give 1-star ratings to something that isnt even an annoyance in the first place, so this will be a message to others, actually look into the games before you reveiw it, so to the creators, thanks for the first game without ads ive ever seen, this 5-star should help the game just a bit more, thats all i will say for now.

I was attracted by no ads but the interface is unusable. I highlight a cell but then I can't select another cell. They seem to only work randomly.

This is the most awkward and bizarre Sudoku app. Like someone made it in five minutes. Not worth even trying out. Even if it's add free.

Don't waste you time. software does not warn you that you have a duplicate digit in a box. Silly!

Time taking problems. Thats what i like. They produce a nice set of difficult sudoku solving problem. Each level in accordance to their difficulty. 9/10.

I don't get the complaints. this app works perfectly on my Samsung J7. I mostly play intermediate to hard level and couldn't be more pleased with this version of Sudoku.

The best thing about this app is it's Simplicity and it is adfree. Best available sudoku on play store.

Ammount of times I accidentally restarted a match is too damn high. There should be a confirmation to abandon games.

There is no way to get automatic hint for unsolvable puzzle. I would like to have this at least optionally available.

Placing a number automatically edits all relevant hints--even if you placed that number accidentally. OH HECK NO. UNINSTALLED.

Sudoku was fine, the upgraded launch app caused me to dump the program. Previous version was good.

Gives impossible and incorrect games with numbers in wrong positions.
