Good interface but lacks some things. I like the themes and font options. It is nice not to have ads after every game, like some of the free versions. But... It would be nice when using pencil marks to indicate that number is already in use for that row/column/square. You can pencil EVERY option whether it is a good move or not. It would be better if it did not allow that.
I've played & download countless Sudoku apps. This is by far the best. Great UI and zero bugs or crashes. LOVE the options to change font & backgrounds; most Sudoku games don't have that ability. Initially used the free version. This is the same awesome game with NO ads. Unfortunately, there have been no recent updates for new features. Cool to see a pop up box option and several more themes & font choices. Top notch app!
I enjoy playing Sudoku and this app was up there with the best but I've noticed that recently some grids are repeating again and again. The randomness is going, going, gone along with the enjoyment of what was once a great app. PLEASE check and correct if possible. I'd hate to change to an inferior app.
The best sudoku board design - the "chalk theme" is absolutely the best theme for sudoku I ever saw. But unfortunately, some games have no logical solution... so after one week I stopped playing it - you never know is it just very difficult game, or it is not possible to solve at all. I hope the author will fix that bug. Updated: after 3 years still the same mistake. Obviously the author gave up...
Very good. Would like a setting where you can choose to have 2 panels for input. One for actual numbers and one for pencil /small numbers. That will eliminate the tap to change between modes.
In general, the game is excellent, but the level of difficulty is not so stable. For example: different games of the level high may not be so difficult or may be very very difficult.
Really liked this app until I realized when you add pencil marks automatically, it puts numbers where they can't go. This isn't helpful to me. I wrote to the dev but didn't get a response. So my advice is to save your money or pay for Enjoy Sudoku, which works much better.
really good sudoku game. I have several different versions on my phone and this is one that I always go back to. like the fact that its ad free and the small price supports the developer.
Expert is good! Admittedly I've only played one level, but the game is stable. No glitches and is the appropriate difficulty for me.
Not flashy. Some nice basic features. Fonts, appearance. Easy on the eyes when using a certain theme, certain font.
The levels are challenging, even the easier levels, relative to other sudoku games I've tried. It's still good though.
Been playing this for years...just got new phone...don't like how matrix squares are elongated rather than square...but otherwise....just right...my go to game
Sudoku Pro has everything I like in this type of game. The graphics and game play are good. No complaints so far.
Easiest one to use. Even have a check function and a hint function. I prefer this one over the other ones I've gotten.
I've tried many different sudoku games and this one is great... I purchased the no add version and I love it.
I have had this app for years and it is great. I wonder if it ever gets updated but it keeps me occupied and never bored
You can't edit pencil marks and the font, colors, and themes make it hard to read.

I've tried several Sudoku apps and I keep coming back to this one. East to look at even in the dark (I use the wooden syle version), east to make notes and to switch between modes, easy to adjust settings, and harder than many others (especially the top two catagories. No bugs or glitches. Adds aren't particularly intrusive in the free version. Nothing distracting, so you can just enjoy a good game.
