Sudoku - The Clean One

The app looks very nice, is well built, very stable and everything is very smooth and polished. But the puzzles are not really "built", they are randomly generated and sometimes the actual difficulty varies a lot within the same "difficulty grade" (easy/medium/hard etc.) because of that

Nice interface and no ad-distractions (when disconnected). An option to select a faster animation speed (other than disabling animations) would have been nice, as well as an option to connect the line segments that separate rows and columns (to make the grid look cleaner). Content-wise disappointing: the hardest level is called "Extreme" yet its puzzles are of medium difficulty (>30 initial clues and no advanced techniques needed). This is based on just 7 puzzles but since none of them was elegant (no symmetries or recurring strategic themes) they appear to have been constructed by a random puzzle generator. That makes me expect that most puzzles will be more or less the same. Withholding one star until a hard level is added.

Good layout, questionable levels. The overall gameplay and functions in this app are pretty good. Almost all the functions you want in a sudoku app. The only thing that needs work is the way the levels are set up. Extreme is not really a separate level from hard. They take about the same time and there are no 2nd or 3rd step solves.

In my experience, about 2 in 5 puzzles become completely unsolvable. I've been doing sudoku for years and it's been a pleasant and enjoyable past time, and never once had to guess if I was right. With this app, these puzzles have forced me to guess forty percent of the time because they don't have an absolute solution. Good mechanics and good aesthetic, but if the puzzles are broken and unsolvable it's just not worth it to me. Please remove the broken levels 😕

So normally, I would have given this a five star rating but more recently, they have been putting ads that have absolutely no way to close them on the screen without the game's Google Play page popping up. Sometimes, that does not even close it. I have to actually close the app entirely and restart it to play anymore. I'm still going to play this version, because it's my favorite version but holy cow is the ad issue super annoying. Really needs fixed.

Very enjoyable. The only thing i wish this had,would be an option to light (mark) the entire row vertically and horizontaly when you press a square or number as i've seen in other sudokus.

This app has a clean and minimalist interface which makes playing engaging and enjoyable! I love how it has optional features like assists and theme colors which it's players customize to make the game suitable to their level and comfort. 5 Stars!

Love it so much. The interface is very thoughtfully designed to help the gameplay. Would suggest to add stats for all the past gameplay records rather than just the top 10 results.

Layout is weird. Seems they are trying really hard to make it simple but looks and fills strange. Some may like it but I do not. Hard to tell the the notes from the actuals

This is a great sudoku app. Been trawling through a few and most look and feel like they're either a remant of decade old Android versions or overload you with ads. This app does have ads, and I cannot easily see the in-app purchases which I can only assume are to remove ads. I also do wish there was a 16x16 board option, I enjoy 9x9 but I've become accustomed to that extra challenge and would love to see it included in an update. Otherwise, few complaints from me.

I like the minimalist design of your games, including this one. the only thing I don't particularly like is that you can only pencil in 8 numbers and they are in a pile, instead of the 3x3 grid of other sudoku games.

The interface is pretty, but it's not great at telling you exactly what your about to do. Almost all of my errors are direct result of the interface doing something that wasn't expected. Next, it REALLY needs a redo button, especially since you have no idea what may happen to get undone if you have to back up several steps. My biggest complaint is that most of the puzzles in this release devolve to having to make a guess, instead of being able to just use logic.

This game provides a very clean and neat User Interface which is fantastic. Controls are very easy. I liked all the Theme that are available in this game. And the great thing is that the game has total 5 difficulty level and those are just perfect. Overall a great product. I would recommend this without any hesitation. Great work Devs.

Probably the best sudoku game in the store. So simple, without any extra unnecessary features, just plain sudoku. Uses very little battery when using an amoled theme. Definitely worth paying for the extra themes and removing the ads.

It's hands down the best sudoku app on Android. To all the reviews complaining about "unsolvability", I'd wager those reviewers bit off more than they could chew on the game's highest difficulty (Extreme). High difficulty with no software aids is truly a difficult game but then again, that's what one wanted, right...?

Absolutely the best one! And I've tried many... The themes are amazing, ads don't come in the way of gameplay, you can leave a level whenever and come back, many difficulties to test your skills. I'm Adhd and this app single-handedly put me through classes in college with its clean focused design.

The app has a good design and I don't mind the ads, but the "extreme" mode is way too easy. Please add some harder modes.

great interface, good colour choices, nice range of levels, no automatic checker (you have to choose to verify it), buttons are clear and no accidental pressing of random things. best of all, ad placement is minor and only after puzzles are completed. the ads are short and easily skippable. love it!!

Love it, just wish I could enter my own puzzles and that I could select view all my tines together, maybe with just the dots next to them showing which assists were used. I have the "world hardest sudoku puzzle" on standby copied down on my phone. Haven't been able to get a single number on the board so far. Would love to play it with the features on this app. This would also be a great app for making your own puzzles since you could easily validate it with the assists. Great app.

I've been playing sudoku using this app for more than a year, its the perfect balance between ads and game, UI is clean but could do with more themes

Hi, I really like your version of sudoku. I've played it many times. I just have one wish, can you please add sound effects? Or some kind of music. It's so relaxing, but it needs some kind of backsound.

The best Sudoku app I've seen and used. Not a lot of memory space utilised on the phone, excellent graphics ( including a dark mode which I use all the time, saving much eye strain), and the app includes a challenging "severe" mode level which is really interesting for me.

It is very minimalistic and no extra features doesn't take much of space in your mobile that is why I love this app alot. Full stars for being really minimalistic.

I paid for the ad-free version because I love how clean and simple the interface is. I wish more games were designed like this!

I really this game, The app is easy and lite. Works great. jus that I wish they would be a setting to highlight the wrong numbers. This feature would have made this game perfect for me. That way I could correct it if I've gone wrong. Now I can't figure out where I've gone wrong and will have to restart the game. Hope you guys do the needful. thanks.

I love this app with my entire being. If you love clean, simple minimalist sudoku then this is the app for you. You can change the themes, and see all the numbers you've entered at a glance. The ads are not intrusive, at least for me and the developers have done an excellent job. Will be paying to remove the ads. Also if the developers want to get in touch with me I am happy to donate more. Love this app, best sudoku experience for Android hands down.

This game is decent. It's layout is very appealing and customizable. However, personally, I really don't like that it doesn't point out mistakes. I can do it without the mistake counter but I'd prefer when it tells you.
