The only thing I need this app for is remote check deposit, but that no longer works since the update several months ago. A teller at sfcu was totally unaware of this issue despite the many reviews of users with the same problem. The same goes for the online chat agent. Looks like it's time to find a real bank that's competent in providing basic tech.

Got a new phone (Google Pixel 3a) and I can no longer mobile deposit checks anymore. Contacred the bank and they said to ensure OS is up to date and to uninstall and reinstall. Did both and still didnt work, so they said it must be a device issue. Also cleared data and cache, which didnt work. This is quite a letdown.
Mobile deposit doesn't work on newer phones. This app didn't have an update for years before the last one, doubt we'll see another one to fix these new issues for another few years. Will update this review if they do actually support their app. You think with the money a bank deals with, they could afford some decent support for technology advances. Most other banks are caught up with the times.
Locked out because there are no instructions in the app that you have to use the last four digits of your SSN. Found out by trying the website after being locked out already. Also can't get through by phone. Not a smooth start.
Terrible!, uncustomizable look/layout, very slow when its not crashing or locking your account access. App makes you wait for 90 seconds anytime you select something. Clients should not be beta testers. Whoever rolled out this debacle really dropped the ball. Never is up to date with you current balances, 2pm Monday it shows balances from last week and sometimes your balances are not shown at all when and if it ever loads. There idea of SAVINGS is 0.01%, wish I could say this isn't my bank. ☹

Annoying bug that consistently says unable to load payee list the first time I try and pay my bills. Works fine if I try again. Still annoying. Not to bad. FIX THE REMOTE DEPOSIT FEATURE. IT HASNT WORKED IN MONTHS. Thanks.
This app is trash. It used to be good when I first downloaded it and now it NEVER connects no matter if your on wifi or using mobile data. They need to fix this.
Always says something is wrong with the connection. So many reviews say there's a connection issue yet the bank says it's out connection. Have to redownload app just to be able to log in once
Worse app ever. See everyone else's complaints plus have I had to reset my password and now it keeps bring me to the reset password page even though I reset it. It doesn't show my balance and hasn't shown any account info past the middle of October.
This app is not good it doesn't tell you the true balance in your accounts, especially during the weekend for some reason you do not get the right balance. So you end up getting charge multiple overdraft fees, and then they give you a hard time about it when it's actually not your fault.
The app is easy to use and very reliable

not the greatest banking experience. their bill pay system is not very user friendly. makes me want to switch to another credit union.
This last update broke remote deposit. The camera will not take a photo of the check. My Chase app on the same phone works just fine. SFCU told me its my problem.
When it works, the app isn't the worst in the world. But for the past several days it hasn't been able to actually connect to the servers so I can't actually use it for anything at the moment.
Text alerts don't show how much was spent from previous transactions anymore. The old app prior to this had that feature.
Couldn't take a picture of a check for mobile deposit, even after reinstalling. That's the only thing I want it to be able to do and it can't. Uninstalled.
Have this app for remote deposit. New phone. App doesnt communicate with camera. Bank says its my problem. Waste of time.
Cant connect most the time, talked to an employee over the phone who told me it must be my connection.. Really? A few weeks ago I never had a problem..

I try to go to on line banking and this update pops up, I choose update and it doesn't happen, I back out and the update pops up again
Android user, note 10+, app will not allow option to take photos for mobile deposit, Otherwise decent app.
The app used to be decent but as of a few months ago, it always complains about connection issues. I can with 100% certainty say it's not my connection as I get the same error whether I'm on 4G with full bars, my 400 Mbps wifi connection or the 100 Mbps connection at work. Today, I was able to finally check my account and then logged out and logged back in immediately and it would no longer connect.
