Not impressed , not intuitive. The ergonomics and view are worse not better. Now you have to go to a different screen to make a transfer rather than doing it right from the account your in as before. As is usual ,the supposed improvements are not time savers or more convenient than the original app. FAIL is my opinion and not so sure about security of this app. Now we all are stuck with this and Im sure there will b a slew of glitches and updates to follow. Thanks for screwing this up.
New experience has wrong info and missing accounts. My wife and I don't have the time together to go to the bank to fix this in Bank. We were also under the impression that each person would have their own login information. According to the login creation, my information is completely wrong. I liked the old system better.
The app still functions as well as it always has, at least in my experience, but the all-white interface is way too bright & harsh. At present the app does not work with my phone's (Note20 Ultra) dark mode. Please bring back the former green color scheme or incorporate a dark mode into the app settings.
5/2022 - Forced upgrade was TERRIBLE. Poor user testing resulted in multiple calls to support and lost time. REQUIRED FORCED update delayed access to account info at a critical time. Resulting lengthy wait times for support cost us $$$$. Support was very good and responsive but not well organized for the upgrade. Support did not participate in testing prior to rollout. I am very disappointed in the upgrade. Some site features are KLUGY, poorly tested and do not work well. Too bad, so sad.
App is ruined. They updated it and now can't login cause when it asks you to verify it takes over 5 minutes to do so then says your security session is expired. So in the end it loops and you can never login. Absolutely ridiculous.
Thank you for your app summit it is easy to use and also benificial for me. The information needed is on hand with a easy access & safe with protection guarantee..... I love your bank it puts the situation of unsafe money safe!!! I need my funds safe that's #1 but...... being able to have the feeling of love by the banks personal/employees as well. Is always appreciated and needed I thank the owners as well for the business/support/safety needed. I hope all is going well/ things are going well.
Huge improvement. Old app had dumb password input and things were generally buggy. Seems a lot more stable now though there are still some graphical glitches.
I've been trying to do an external transfer for a month now and Summit still can't link up. It's like the app forgets I've already did this and I've resubmitted this external setup 5 times now. Guess I'll just write myself a check?
New app is terrible. If you want a functional app look elsewhere. Summit made changes no one was asking for. The new app update has less functionality the old app and Summit doesn't care. Why would someone want less features? Bring back original FUNCTIONAL app and fire your design department !
I liked when I could get a quick balance WITHOUT signing in!! I don't like so many "steps" just for balance. If it ain't broke don't fix it!!
I like Summit Credit Union better than any bank I have ever bank at and it's my first time with a credit union but they are much more trusting than the banks they are much more laid-back and easygoing than the banks and these things make you want to please them by making loans and making payments on time and just all-around getting along with everybody it's just so much easier I will never use another bank again it's Summit for me I have reached the summit of mym banking bye banking with Summit!
Tried to log into new app and says I can't because I have multiple ID'S. I don't. I only have one. Good update!
I don't like the new update It defeats the purpose of having separate accounts......wish I could change it back.....it was just fine the way it was.....grrrrr
Update is a complete failure. Can't get past the log in screen. Ugh!
App works well. Happy with the ease of moving through the screens.
You totally screwed up on your online upgrade. Whoever was in charge of that needs to be terminated IMMEDIATELY!!
I love summit... App rarely crashes maybe once yearly for updates. I feel protected banking with summit... Have been with them for 6yrs
Why the update? Before, the app worked just fine. Now I can't access my account! It's not better if I can't use it.
Won't let me open it at all and isn't accurate then I get over draft fees like crazy.

The app includes all of the functionality that I want and expect, but it's not particularly streamlined. The way credit card accounts are handled is simply bizarre. I'm not sure why tapping on the credit card from the account list doesn't take you to where you want to go (which is the page you find from the Manage Cards option in the hamburger menu). Overall, this app shouldn't prevent anyone from moving to Summit from a big bank, but it would be nice to see some more polish.
Remote deposit camera needs work. Rather than taking a picture when I tell the app to do so, camera just constantly refocuses, especially when trying to capture the back of the check. Can do this with the camera app without a problem, so phone hardware is fine. Manual focus or the ability to upload photo to app would be a much improved experience.
Great for a while, then suddenly stopped working. Error loading presets, waited a week, error stayed, uninstalled and reinstalled, error still there. Edit: after a while, the present error disappeared, but upon login it turned off my account. After a while again, it started working fine and I am left with no explanation for what happened or why (no email or anything similar). I feel this is unacceptable and will keep my rating low.

Can there be an update with a feature that allows the individual to view all subscriptions to the debit, checking, and credit accounts. I downloaded an app thinking it would help and Im still getting charged for things I want to unsubscribe from but the instructions through the website is so confusing.
Overall great app. You can see all your accounts, car payment, transfer money between accounts, and deposit checks by taking pictures with your phone. I can't remember the app ever crashing or any other issue and I've been using it for many years. They just updated the app, but the new look is drab. There isn't enough contrast. If I had visual impairment, the new look might be a problem. Still, I love Summit. Everyone at their branches and on the phone are nice and helpful.
