The app is a giant turd. Can't edit my account, created a new one and can't login. Had to check out as a guest for some reason. Even though I've ordered plenty to my current address. Searching or browsing is a nightmare. It's borderline unusable

Generally great experience. The only 2 cons is there is no way to filter notifications for their credit card that I'll never take part in and their search functionality isn't the best via app or traditional web browser. That said love the car doing donuts and love summit racing. Quality business.

Horribly slow app, half the items on the app do not work and it takes forever to look anything up. Place an order and go to click on a button and nothing, just sits there. This used to be a good app but has just kept going downhill.

Summit racing is hands down the best high performance online megastore. Fast shipping, great prices, great customer service. If summit has what I need (almost always) I don't bother looking anywhere. Haven't had any issues with the app.

The best customer service,parts availability,accuracy, incredibly fast delivery,and last but not least, the nicest and knowledgeable people I have ever dealt with on a consistent basis.....period. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST !!!! THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH !!!!

The app has potential, but has some annoying flaws. Spins every time you make a selection, I had difficulty checking out. Hopefully gets better as they go.

Website is pretty good. Seemed a little tougher to select all the truck options, but the normal website feels like that too. Gt to hunt a little to be selective, otherwise you'll wind up with every engine offered in that vehicle.

Is there any benefit to having this app? It is very slow buffering in between moves. when I am looking at the list of parts and click on one, then return, I have to go through the entire list again to find my place.

The app is great when it works and most of the time it's slower than sin. I do enjoy being able to do my own research before buying or needing help from customer service.

Best app for all your automotive needs and then some. I have never, not used summit first when it comes to finding parts and fast shipping. Excellent customer service anytime you will need help.

Summit Racing on the WEB is Top Shelf. Their App for Android is okay, much of the time. Other times, it reminds me of a Forrest Gump Box of Chocolates. Example: Search Results. I have a 3rd Gen Dodge RAM 2500 with the HO 5.9L Cummins. A trial "multi-Filtered" Search using the App contained many off-the-wall VW Parts. "F Gumpy". I know Summit will get the App "Running Right" before long. Until then, if "Finding the Right Part the 1st Time" is my Priority, I will use Summit's Desktop Web Site.

Excellent except for payment aspects. Require physical address, but fight input of physical address. In addition, you offer several pay pal payment options, that accept input, but never complete, and do not give any further information as to whether order and payment were accepted or not

Love it!! Only thing I would of expected was to be able to save your vehicle under your account. So you have to filter your search everytime you want to look up a new part.

Annoying as hell. It forced me to log out a few months ago, and since then, I haven't been able to log back in. It won't send me an email after clicking 'forgot my password', and it won't let me create a new account through mobile app.

The app is not as good as it could be. I have only placed a single order with it. The website provides a much better experience (even on mobile). The app is fine for on the go browsing. It had some strange behaviors. Sometimes it comes up with incomplete or no search results. Ultimately, the app is just OK. Feature Request: Sync cart on website with app.

Works well except one feature. When filtering search results if you don't see the year you want for example and you try to expand it to find the one you want, it does not show all of the available options. For example, search for camshafts, enter a Gen 1 small block chevy and then go to year. If you expand it to show all the years you will only see as far back as maybe 1980. I cannot select 1970 for example as the year of engine. This occurs with lots of things such as LSS. Duration, piston compression height, anything with a lot of results...

Rarely do I review apps, because rarely do I have the type of experience I have with the Summit Racing app. To summarize, it is terrible. In the past I would use the online catalog to order parts because the way it was set up was amazing. Super simple, easy to navigate. No problems. But this abomination that we're forced to use now is actual garbage. Hot, stinking refuse from the depths of a very limited, very poor intelligence. Please fix what you've done. No one likes it.

At the moment I can no longer even use the app. Will not let me go past the recently viewed page. Can't get into my cart. Can't look up anything either using the search bar, trying to select via vehicle or engine. Can't do anything. Starts doing the loading screen then leaves you at the recently viewed. I miss the old app. At least it worked Update = with the fix the app is up and working again. Only reason I'm giving the new app 4 Stars is because I couldn't give it 4.5. It's easier to use but still a little glitchy and freezes up from time to time. If the new update fixes that I'll be changing my rating to 5 Stars. Time will tell that

Seems to load pages a little slower than the website, but the drifting circle animation is kind of cool. Honestly, I only installed the app for the $5 off coupon. I prefer being able to research parts on a larger screen with multiple tabs, so can't say I'll use it much in the future. As always, pleased with Summit's service.

Glitchy to the point of unusable. I added parts to the cart but when viewing the cart, each item was in there twice and I was being charged for two. Deleting one of the duplicate items in the cart caused both to be deleted. Cool. Tried to update my billing address, but the app won't let me. Tried browsing items on sale (1000+ listed), but when I change the sort from "default" to "low to high" it tells me no items are available. App is useless. I will delete and buy my parts locally instead.

Be careful when at checkout to let it process, the server delays can be tricky. edit: Specifically it is when you are on the checkout page and you select to expand the item list, or switch to try and enter vouchers. It can take about 3-4 seconds but there is no indication that it is working, so when you try another tap often it reloads just in time and takes the wrong instruction.

This app is a well constructed version of the standard summit racing website on a computer, made for a mobile phone. It makes it really easy to sit back and shop. I literally apend hours on the app trying to find my next parts lol... my only criticism is that the back button doesnt work when you are viewing an item, making it impossible to return to viewing other items without re-entering each and every detail.... they need more user interface friendlieness. I would absolutely love for summit to make it so we can add pictures and comments on our builds, and visible to others if you wish so they can gawk at your awesomeness or share ideas on modifications and upgrades.

I've enjoyed the app so far. It's pretty easy to navigate and locate the specific parts/products you're looking for. Also, the pictures and product descriptions are very detailed, making it easier to identify the correct parts (especially for a newbie like myself). Only a few select items take a little digging to find; however, overall a great app!

Summit is a terrific company, but this app is garbage. The app is extremely slow, and constantly pauses to catch-up. Also, the search filters aren't nearly as convenient to add/remove as on the website. I tried the app once, because they offered an automatic $5 off your first app order. Placed the order, but the app didn't give me the $5 discount. I'm deleting the app and going back to using their website.

The app barely works, its 2021 and I'm stuck watching the loading wheel spin for 15 mins because their servers are absolute trash. Its like 80% of the time I try to order something it doesn't work. The app is poorly designed and its been garbage for years now, probably always actually. Don't waste your time and order it on a desktop version of the site.

This new update is terrible. Super buggy and freezes a lot. Shows me logged in and completed 3 orders over last month and none show in my order history. Even though the app had me logged in the entire time. The new search is terrible. It forces you to pick from the drop down and half the time the autocomplete suggestions aren't even close to what you want.

Use the app all the time but have noticed that over the past year and a half, the app has really lost its spark. App is slow and constantly shows items in my cart even after making a purchase or clearing the cart. Hyper links don't work, searching is extremely delayed and compare function isn't working anymore. One would think that a multimillion dollar company would stay up to date with technology as they do with their parts.

Summit Racing is an amazing company, but their app is not. It often crashes and does not allow you to view previous orders. Additionally it lacks the functionality of the desktop or internet site. I downloaded the app hoping to experience equal or better interface with the online store. But often (every time actually) find myself closing the app and using the desktop or internet browser on my phone. Skip this app, the desk top and internet services are superior.

Constantly have to select vehicle cant add more that one item in your cart at a time, if you try to add a second item you are met with a blank white page. Also the fitment compatibility selections are wrong and will tell you every part wont work even though you searched "within results" you must click on the fitment list to make double sure it fits. There are new bugs with every update. You still have 2 select vehicle twice before you can select search within results.

Slow and clunky. Navigating multiple layers of searches is difficult and it often forgets what you have already entered. Vehicle info does not save engine information and you must re enter every time. Needs a better graphical interface for navigating parts browsing. Not a terrible app but there is opportunities for improvement that would speed up and make a more enjoyable experience.
