The Sumter County Library System includes five branch libraries, bookmobile, and administration. Five years ago, four of the five municipalities entered into a consolidation agreement bringing operations under the aegis of Sumter County. Since that time, Sumter County has increased investment for improved library services.
Sumter County, located in the heart of Florida, is a diverse county of more than 100,000 residents and 574 square miles.
