Sun Alarm

Useful app for me. I feel the home screen of the app should also display the sunrise and sunset timings, as alrm timings may be different from sunrise and sunset timings. Also no of times of snooz also should be incorporated.

respected sir, this app was pretty but now i am feeling one big problem, error in this app. that is not dismissing alaram whenever i press button of dismiss while alaram of read event name reading is going on continue. what happens when i dismiss alaram? after pressing on dismiss button popup goes off but still read event name rings continue till end of read event name . therefore please sold out this ptroblem and inform me . thanks

This is great! and has a lot of innovative features I've never seen in other sunset or Moon activity Android apps. I use the civil Twilight alarm with the text to speech reading of event name.

No alarm Regardless the alarm I want to set, noon or sunrise or 30 minutes before sunset, I don't hear any alarm. That's a pity, it makes the app useless. How come? Any solution?

EDIT: The issue I was experiencing seems to have resolved. This app has helped me get back to a normal sleep schedule to help my depression, anxiety, etc. Amazing. Thanks! ORIGINAL: Great except the alarm goes off 3-4 times in a row in a very strange manner, flashing up on my screen then disappearing quickly before I have a chance to hit any buttons. Unusable in this state.

Setting the alarm is perfect! I can program it exactly the way I need. However, dismissing the alarm is a nightmare sometimes! If I'm not near my phone (i.e, if I'm asleep), the alarm sounds, the notification appears, then quickly disappears, and the alarm gets louder and LOUDER and LOUDER!!!.... with no button to turn it off!! Eventually, if I hunt for, and open the app, it finally stops.... but in the meantime, it's very embarrassing as everyone in my building can hear it. Please fix this!!

Five Stars- Excellent!! This is a really well written app that does anything you can imagine related to triggering an alarm on a solar type event- really solid. Android in all its flavors can interact with this app and screw it up- its not the app, its a bunch of settings that vary by Android revision that try to kill apps like this. Test it thoroughly on your phone/tablet. You have to either enable this app to wake your phone from sleep or tell your phone not to kill this app if its running in the background. This varies by Android version. Also, when you set an alarm to play a song, the song is an alarm sound not music. Make sure that you have the volume levels set properly. Sunalarm also has an audio level that you need to verify. I love this app, it works perfectly but Android is a fickle OS that will fight you all the way.

was searching for an app, to get sunrise and sun set alaram. this simply serves the purpose. was neat and good.

I like this app for the sunset, sunset, and noon alarms. I hope my buying pro will cause the programmer to add the following alarms: Midnight, Moon Rise, Moon Noon (High Moon), Moon Set. I like to photograph the moon, and the best time to photograph is when it is at its highest point in the sky so there is less atmosphere to look through.

Nice. I've been using your app since 2018. I thank you. My chickens 🐔 thank you. I give them scratch in the evening so they have something in the gullet overnight. Golden hour is the perfect time.

Really enjoying this app. My only request is a midnight alarm option, I feel like it's important to as a solar marker, the middle of the night.

This is a very good program. Why? In my latitude, the daylight decreases 2 minutes per day, from longest day to shortest day and then it reverses. I want to wake up at 1 hour before dawn, when using a set time alarm clock, after 7, 14 and 28 days the time drift is out by 14, 28 and ~60 minutes. From the equinox max to min, that is 6 hours. This program stays in sync even when offline for a while. Needs to make "Dismiss" close the program, instead of closing it twice. Excellent program.

I loved having the alarm, however, I believe there is something wrong with it on Android 10, the alarm hasn't been going off since the upgrade to Android 10. It worked great and I'm assuming it will get resolved quickly.

Fails as an alarrn clock. It does not seem to have the necessary permissions to wake my device. I use the "scheduled power on/off" setting overnight but even after the phone has powered back up Sun Alarm fails to sound sunrise alarms unless I have manually entered my device lockdown PW. If I am already awake enough to do that then I don't need this alarm! Pity because the concept is exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately the execution is not able to deliver.

Good but.... ....often the snooze function doesn't work. I use this to remind me to put our hens away before sunset every day. But sometimes (often) when I hit snooze the alarm just comes on again straight away. I end up dismissing the alarm instead then hope to remember later. Sort of spoils the point.

Unreliable. It automatically deletes the alarm set. Consequently, can't wake up on time and whole day was ruined. So bad. Only 1 star. Edit: This is a beautiful app. Plz do provide necessary attention. It can grow exponentially.

Provides all the variations I could desire. I've used it for over a year to wake at dawn. Plus I have a alarm to tell me when to head to bed, which is useful when my wake-up time changes daily.

App was fantastic with Android 11, but has been real hit or miss since upgrading to Pixel 6 and Android 12. I've checked all battery settings, but alarms with either not sound or go off hours later than set. I'll keep watch for any updates and try again

Great App except occasionally the alarm does not go off. This has only happened about 3 times in about 6 months. This might be a difficult bug to catch.

Exactly what I'm looking for, but only works sometimes. Unfortunately I can't rely on it which is a total shame since it has all the features I'm looking for. Update: Completely stopped working when I updated to Android 11. Please please please make this app work!! I'm uninstalling for now but will check back some other time :/

Alarm doesn't go off at all. When I attached MP3 file as ringer it was labeled at null: null which is a bug too I guess. I never could test if it works since it doesn't ring at all!! (Im using Xiaomi latest soft)

After update to Android 10, the app stopped working. Personally, I don't think it's developer's fault. However, money spent on the Pro version goes down the drain. Thank you Google!

Nice alarm for all those livestock related activities that are dependent upon sunrise and sunset. Only improvements would be to add a display of local sunrise and sunset times to the page that lists all the alarms.

Alarm doesn't ring. Doesn't play the sound I selected. Only vibrates and a little pop-up. Very disappointing. Love the concept but execution leaves a lot to be desired.
