Sun Alarm Sunrise Sunset
is a fast and easy app to see sun phase information& set alarms for those events
With this app you can set its location using your Device's Wireless,GPS or by using the Map. When you use your Device's GPS it only uses it to find your location and then no longer needs GPS, You can also save as many locations as you wish from the Maps Section or Positions found by your Device.
With alarms you can set them to sunrise sunset and many more sun phases.So if your on Holiday you can set it for Sunrise and wake to enjoy a nice day.
Also add a new feature so that you can put any mp3 file in your Ringtones Folder and you can play the MP3 as your Alarm & Notification Sound, so now you can set you Alarm's with your selected music track
You can also select which screen you want the app to Boot,so that you can quickly view the summary screen
PLEASE REMOVE ALL OLD ALARM'S & REBOOT YOUR DEVICE, THEN ADD YOUR ALARMS.AS THE NEW UPDATE REQUIRES THAT ALL ALARMS NEED TO BE RESET UP.

This app would be perfect except for one thing ... It massively cranks up the volume of any alarm tone you select so loud that it actually distorts the sound on my phone. No ability to set volume in app. Please either allow user to set volume or stop the app overriding the system alarm volume. The noise is just awful. For me this makes the app unusable.
Good selection of sun phases. Would like a bedtime notification based on when I get up. If you increased the time offset to +/- 12hrs and changed the slider to more precise numeric input, it would meet my needs. I was wondering when someone would create this type of alarm - good job!
Pretty good app! I use this to determine when I have to go close up the chicken house at night, which is usually about 15 minutes after sundown. Any earlier the chickens are still out, any later and a possum or raccoon might kill one. This is convenient because it determines the alarm based not on time, but on a phase of the Sun. I would recommend it to anyone who forgets to do tasks at certain sun phases like me!
I've tried to install this on my Galaxy 5 several times now (on separate occasions spread out by a few months). It says it's downloaded and installed, but it doesn't show up in my app list or as an icon. Very disappointing.
This alarm would be great, if it worked consistently. We wanted an alarm to remind us of dusk, so we could go close up the chicken coop to keep out evening/night predators. Sometimes it goes off at dusk, sometimes it doesn't go off. Sometimes it goes off in the middle of the night. It seems if I am carrying the phone, and so it is active due to my motion, it works consistently. But if its just sitting on a table or a charger, its inconsistent. Frustrating. Deleting and looking for a better answer.
I love this app & would give it 5 stars, IF it didn't erase all my alarms each time the phone is turned off or restarted.
Used to work. Not none of the alarms stay saved. I tried to contact them, but no response. 6 months later... Still no response and their website does not allow you to send emails to them Going to find a better app at this time. Shame
It's not ringing on time because of ,,do not disturb" mode on s8+. But there is an other sun alarm works well with it. Please fix it

It doesn't have a way to download a song from mp3 files, even though it say it does. Uninstalled this app. Very disappointed.
This is a useful app! I would suggest a small modification though. If you can, please increase the adjustment from 5 hours (300 mins) to 12 hours. This way suppose someone wants to know what time they should sleep to get 8 hours of sleep and get up at the sunrise, they can set an alarm to signal the time to sleep as well.
Please include the ability to also set an alarm x hours before the sunrise.. For example 8 hours before and then you will get 5 stars from me..
After trying virtually every app, this one actually allows for daily reminder of sunset, and the type of alarm or notification and ring tone and the all critical N minutes before. Great for time lapse photograohers and those worried about vampires. Thank you!
I just wanted an alarm every day at sunset and sunrise. Didn't work.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. The UI for setting up alarms is a bit clunky, but that only needs to be done once, and then it works perfectly.
I now absolutely love this app.

But since the last update- or was it two updates ago?- it crashes every time the alarm is supposed to go off... :-( EDIT/RESPONSE: I had daily alarms set with ringtones before the update. They're just not working at all anymore and the app closes... I suppose I could delete them and start over... EDIT/RESPONSE: so after deleting and redoing, they are so far working. However, I liked the sound it used to make of three little tones as it was unobtrusive and now you don't have that option anymore :-(
This is the closest they come to a good alarm app. It lets you set an alarm for before or after the actual time, but it needs to have this separate so you get early notification for setting times and later notification for rising times. Unless your horizon is completely flat this is always the case. It also doesn't seem to take into account daylight savings time. Should make/add moon rise/set capability.
