Circa Fasting is a tool made to assist and motivate you in your time restricted eating (TRE) and intermittent fasting (IF) practice. The focus is on the new, innovative TRE technique, Circadian Fasting, which of course makes use of your own circadian rhythm.
Use Circa Fasting to check how soon the sun will set and plan accordingly. It is more effective and more sustainable to build a fasting routine around your natural circadian rhythm. This is termed Circadian Fasting—optimal time restricted eating technique.
Then log your fasting time--along with your weight if you choose. Tracking your fasting cycles* in the beginning often proves critical for motivation and further practice.
And check in during the fast to add any notes about your experience and how you are feeling during each fasting cycle.
Further, you can review all previously logged fasting data along with your notes to learn from the experiences. You can then customize your fasting cycles on a weekly scale, so you can take days off as you need. Circa Fasting hopes to encourage you to discover and set your fasting routine.

*A fasting cycle is a time frame most of which is occupied by fasting. During the recommended Circadian Fasting, Circa Fasting designates each cycle to be a 24 hour period. During this period fasting is meant to take place while the sun is set. Usually, using this method fasting time ends up being between 12-16 hours. You may fast each cycle, but breaks are recommended (and can be scheduled in the app). Fasting for periods longer than that is not recommended.

Heard of this concept before, works well in this app. I like the sunset tracking, but can't always stick to it (app allows custom fasts so that's fine). The chill vibe is nice. Haven't made much use of the how are you feeling tracking. Taking more notes in general would help me.

I wish the app would let me set my start time. I started fasting a few hours ago but all I can do is hit start. Now my fasting time is off on the app. It would also be great if there was a widget that shows my progress/start time/end time or even be able to customize what the widget displays. Not sure if i will be using this app until those features are added. This app has a great feel and a great look. Just need a little bit more from it and it would be the perfect app.

Thw greatest problem with thia app is that you can't change the timw of fasting. For example, I forgot to start the fasting app the night before and only remembered at lunchtime the following dat. So when I remembered I was unable to adjust the time on the app. This is the case everytime. And to be honest it's a little disappointing seen as you have to pay for the app.

Definitely the absolute best fasting tracker on android. It notifies you when the sun sets to begin fasting. Love it!!

The app tells you when to start fasting and automatically starts tracking. I would rather tell it when I start fasting and have it count from there. As it is, you have to wait until you've finished fasting to edit the start time. Not what I was looking for in a fasting app.
