Great app! I use it for aerial videography & photography and it is really accurate. Combined with Google Earth Pro's lighting features, I can set up shots and know what the sun's position will be which greatly helps with composition.
This app really comes in handy predicting shady spots for resting or fishing. Also, when and how long the shade is available or when to pause and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Looking to enjoy wonderful sunrise/moonrise/sunset/mooset..? Sun Position.. makes it easy to do!👍👏👏😎 Also, I have even learned the value of civil twilight... you can gain alot from listening and watching nature. Truly awesome and amazing!👏👏👏
Absolutely love it. Easy to use. Straightforward enough if you don't need all the small details and all the small details are right there if you do. Sunpath is surprisingly well on point. This, i imagine, depends alot on your phone but with my xiaomi, 9/10 times i can block the real sun with the in app projection. It's that accurate.
Simple but very handy for planing shooting and being able to figure out where the sun will be and how It can potentially affect your shots. Really good.
I was trying to use this to see where Shadows would be during the day. the problem is with the screen down by the ground pointed up the sun ark you can't see the screen. it would be great to have the option to use the back facing camera so you could look back over your own shoulder kind of thing.
I use this app frequently. It does a nice job of showing sun & moon positions. I just wish there was a setting that would permit the 'map' display to show automatically on startup rather than the data screen.
Would be the perfect Sun app if it had a personal questionnaire to determine how much sunlight a person needs per day and a timer for the person to record how much sunlight they are getting. Other than that its an awesome map that i use mostly for the 360 view of the path the sun is going and the daily sun and moon information it provides such as time of solar noon peak, when the sun and moon rises and sets, etc. Its an amazing app
I get out in the bush a bit. Sunset time is always good to know and also the phase of the moon. (In open country half a moon or more is enough light to walk in without a torch.) This app gives those things, so it comes in handy. Thanks.
Sun Position app provides: Useful information for any activity that requires accurate dawn and dusk times. Many clever extras such as solar declination angle, moon phase, moon rise and set. Easy to use, all information is laid out in a clear and easy to understand table. A Great Tool to have on your device.
This is a pretty slick app that allows you see the past, present, and future position of the sun during the year so that you can plan for things like a garden, outdoor camera positions, trees to remove. A great tool!
This app is helpful for me to become aware of when it is going to be daylight and night time.. I use it to plan my outdoor exercise and driving. I'm also learning words and terms that I've never considered, nautical, civil, astronomical twilight and golden hour.
Very useful for fine tuning a snap. Seems more accurate than other AR sun apps but not infallible. It would be great if the line of the sun passed through the pin in map view to make it easier to line up subjects with the sun / moon
This app is awesome. It's pretty accurate when trying to map out the sun. Just make sure to calibrate everytime to be sure of accuracy. I just bought a solar power system so this is very helpful. I'm using the free demo and I love it!
This app is just great and so simple, informative and absolutely amazing. It saves you searching out all the ephemeral data from the likes of the gov websites and the NASA websites who provide this information free... the way the app has been put together and the way it has zero ad's make it a real winner. I thinking all the apps that I have used, this is pro ably my favourite for its simple direct presentation of just the information I want. Great app, please try it for yourself...
Handy app for a demo. Works great and the interface is very user friendly and clean. The sun viewer especially works so smooth and is very useful for site analysis as an architecture student and for photography. Thanks devs 👍
There's a great feature which shows you the position and path of the sun throughout the day via the camera, you can also take photos with this 'overlay'. Genious ! You can also check sunrise/sunset and sun path on google maps.
I only have the free version but it's great! As a filmmaker I use this to check when and where the sun will be to plan for my shots of the day, and I also use it to determine when golden hour will be. It's great even the free version. I hardly notice the ads either 😉
Amazing, it is help me to teach children where the sun will rise and set. I just found 1 issue, the apps not keep the display always ON, so I must touch the screen if the display will goes off, anyway thanks for the good work.
Very well laid out. It lacks Blue Hour. I don't plan getting the paid version, mainly because it's been over a year since the last update. + it's pricey...
Have only used it a few times lately, so far it's been helpful and intuitive. I use it to schedule video shoots and it's one of my favorite apps I've used related to video production.
Good demo. Better than most. I would be willing to pay $4. for this app, but not almost $8. UPDATE: UPDATE: I started using Total Launcher again and the widget stopped working. It will go thru the motions upto clicking the button. When clicked to accept choices. There isn't a widget on the screen.
