Sun Salutation [SuryaNamaskar]

Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) means a salute to the sun. It is a continuous series of related Yoga postures, some done twice, in what totals many poses. It is designed to warm up your whole body and integrate the body, mind and breath. The Sun Salutation is a warm up or toning exercise and is considered the best of all Yoga exercises as it stretches, compresses, arches and reinforces all the major muscles of the body, as well as the digestive and respiratory organs. It also helps develop flexibility, strength, balance, concentration and focus. Sun Salutation is a great way to synchronize your breath and can be practiced thrice a day.
This application showcase many sequence of surya namaskar ( sun salutation ).

One of the means of honoring the sun is through the dynamic asana sequence Surya Namaskar (better known as Sun Salutation). The Sanskrit word namaskar stems from namas, which means “to bow to” or “to adore.” (The familiar phrase we use to close our yoga classes, namaste—te means “you”—also comes from this root.) Each Sun Salutation begins and ends with the joined-hands mudra (gesture) touched to the heart. This placement is no accident; only the heart can know the truth.

Practicing at least three Sun Salutations in the morning is a wonderful way to awaken your body, to stretch, to say good morning to each of your muscles. It’s also a great way to know your body and its limits since in the morning we are “raw”, so to speak—our muscles still need to be “warmed”.Sun Salutations give you a lot of power. It’s an energetic sequence designed to make you strong, powerful, glowing, confident. Hence you will be benefited a lot while practicing daily. I wish all of you a healthy life :)

Do not forget to share and rate. Thank you :)

I like that it explains the benefits of each pose and a basic explanation of how to do them. However, I have trouble scrolling through images while doing yoga. I'll be keeping it as a reference guide, just can't actually refer to it mid practice.

Would love to do it like a timed exercise. Also it will be great if we have a daily reminder feature.

Easy and simple to follow, not sure about all the things each pose is supposed to fix from an evidence based point of view but definitely can't hurt and improves flexibility.

Brief, doable exercises and sequences. But i would interchange sequence B and C. Because B has more elements of a bit advanced kind.

It explains how to do each pose and gives a diagram, which is helpful. It also tells what each pose is good for health wise.
