This is not a game. We all know that. But that doesn't give you the right to talk trash. To me, this is a little fun and simple little game. Even more it's a purple knuckles. Good Job Sunny Test I hope in the future you will make upgrades like more characters I really like it so I'm keeping it. K we up the good work.😊
This is not a game. This is a video of knuckles running and no obstacles and no coins. The only thing you can do is move knuckles by tilting your device the way you want. Trash only. And I knew the graphics were tooken from another Sonic SEGA game which is Sonic 2 because in the top is written sonic rings:0 and the same thing for tails and between them total:0. This game makes me dizzy in my eyes.
I get that this is an Accelerometer test (I'm a game dev too, I think the touch screen more of a pain), But I think it's always useful to have some engine feedback: Framerate is very inconsistent and I imagined playing the STH2 bonus levels like this, I don't think I'd get the first emerald. Also, if it does become a game I think the Accel sensitivity needs to be higher... you need to be able to tilt it for a quarter second and get to the other end of the screen.
Good for a test game. But I have some feedback. When knuckles jumps he is not red he is purple and blue when he jumps. Knuckles running animation should speed up the more you tilt your phone. It only shows sonic rings and tails rings but not knuckles rings. Overall it looks like it will be a good game.
Life changing experience! This app gave me super powers and now I can shoot Lazer beams out of my ears. It's a little unconventional admittedly but with a bit of practice I'm sure it will be everything I dreamed it would be. Still can't fly tho :(
This isn't something you should criticize because it's bad. It's JUST a TEST. To make the real game better, Sunny, you should- Make Sonic (preferably Sanic) and Tails with a "Select your Runner" screen; Recolor Knux; Make the character tilt so it can go up the side; Make the sprite a little larger; and yeah. P. S. you did sooooooooooooo much better than me.
If you are like me and are thinking, hey maybe all these bad reviews are from grumpy A-holes and it's not that bad. Let me tell you that it is. There is no point to the game and it is going to be quickly un-installed. Still want to find out for yourself? Please go ahead, but I guarantee you will wish that you had listened.

Of course this isn't 100%, but I can see that this guy has tried his best. All you saying that this is horrible and all, why don't you try to make a game like this yourself. SEGA are pro guys making pro games, so you can't expect any game made by an average person to be just like it.
My Complains: There is No sonic and tails 2: it said there is rings but there is none 3. No fun obstacles 4: the only charchater is only a rainbow knuckles5: u should add a menu 6: this game has to use rings to buy stuff like gear or power up 7: it should had a avatar like sonic forces
Stop it. The developer created this app to test gyroscope controls. At least that's my theory regarding this app. Its simply a gyroscope test themed to look like Sonic 2. This isn't a game, so stop rating it like one.
It's pretty decent, but the framerate is extremely low. The acceleration should also be higher, and I look forward to seeing what this offers in the end.

The game...or soon to be game, maybe, is very incomplete. Would love to see rings, obstacles, or anything really. Thanks for what you've done so far, but move onto the next step and make it an actual game.
I can see that they are testing a port of the sonic 2 special stages, but its just a test. Probably should be finished
When you run towards a slope, "blue" knuckles doesn't look like he is actually running up it. I'm not saying it is a ripoff unlike some idiots but if you are still working on it,add some rings and obstacles okay? Keep it up! BTW to the people that are criticizing this test, READ THE TITLE!!! It says its a test!
This game is barely fun, go get Sonic 2 for Android/iOS Devices, you'll get more enjoyment out of it then this. Plus, he gave up making it on the recent update date printed below.
Not really bad, but what WOULD make this better would be if you could remove the numbers and add rings and other characters. Also, don't put color changes. It's just a way to have fun with a test thing.
What do u even do. It's a sonic game but ur a purple flashing knuckles, and why r sonic and tails names at both top corners of the screen, if ur going to make a game about sonic put FREAKEN sonic in it
I like it but the gyroscope is a bit stiff like you can loosen up the sensitivity on it for it to work.. but other then that its working great

Number 1, make sure to add Sonic and Tails. Number 2, add rings and obstacles. Number 3, take away the trippy, sorta trippin on acid Knuckles. And Number 4, make it an, ACTUAL GAME! Other than that it's a pretty good game! Also never have people play this game, if they have epilepsy!
In the game you make full circles around the screen. Jump reaction is rather slow. Next test lets try with rings

The photos show sonic and tails with rings but when you test only knuckles appears, and they're no rings. Also, you're showing the gyrocompass number. Max number: 416
I thought it was a good game but I feel if you have a test game you should at least make it somewhat of a game! Other than that it is pretty good.
I have no idea how did this test app managed to get more than 1 million downloads, and many positive and motivating reviews, even if the last update was in 2011. Nice... Haha
Obviously by it's name it's a test app. but still there honestly is no point in adding it to the app store. it just reuses background graphics from sonic two and what looks like a form of knuckle. from sonic 3 having a seizure. it just does nothing other than showing knuckles move where you tilt the screen. Take my advice and avoid this app and get sonic 2 and 3 legally from sega on google play.
