Have an issue where the app will not load once I've put my password in. Only thing it lets my phone do is "close all" once the blue circle starts going. I have uninstalled, reset my phone, tried on 3 different internet connections, and nothing. Worst customer service I've ever had the misfortune of having to call. Absolutely terrible app. I honestly don't understand why they can't just bill your bank account directly, without auto-pay snatching $10 minimum each time. Just debit my account ffs 😑

One of the worst apps I've ever used. I'm a software engineer, yet took me 50 minutes to register two retail-purchased transponders, and in the end it only succeeded via the website. App reported not up to date browser. I definitely have up to date Chrome. Today, after first day using passes in two vehicles, I checked on the website: neither vehicle listed. In the app: both listed. There's only one transponder listed, but twice. Tried to add the second one again and it says already registered

Let me save you an hour of frustration. Before using the app, go online and set up your account, payment method, and activate your transponder. If you do that, the app works. Do not try to set up a new account or activate a new transponder thru the app unless you want to waste your time re-entering data multiple times before giving up and doing it online anyway. The create new account and activate transponder functions are full of bugs that make completing those tasks impossible. YMMV.

App used to work perfectly for me. Now for the past 2 months I can not get it to load past the main screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Now I have to use the website which was a pain to gain access to. And thanks for the $50 bill in the mail since it was totally my fault that your website and app doesn't work right for people to add money to their accounts. I'll look into EZpass.

This app has become very frustrating and useless. It stopped working and now I cannot add funds or my card that I had to change due to fraud. I use to use it at airport and cannot use it for convenience anymore because app stopped working. Now app keeps saying new version, even after uninstall. Get rid of engineers or bring back original platform that worked perfectly. Did I mention I now get paper bills and have to pay extra for something they caused.

Not the most polished app by any means, but not terrible either. Some of the reviews say the app gives no other option but to buy a new transponder even though they already have one; if you already bought a transponder but don't have an account, just click "Activate Transponder" as the very first thing and you should be fine. If you have a VPN, turn that off, too.

The app was working fine until this last update. When you open the it has a pop-up stating you should update to the latest version and it takes you to the play store and there is no update just to open the app or uninstalled it. I uninstalled it and re-download it and it is still doing the same thing. The needs to be rectify

Instead of bullying students, that idiot running the state needs to fix this site and everything that goes with it. I have never been able to login to my account, since creating it, to find my account balance by using their link from my statement emails. Or by using their app. Why not just put the balance in the email, it's not like it's top secret and someone would steal my balance if it were displayed. Worthless... as everything, he is in charge of.

One of the worst apps I've had the displeasure of using to sign up. Trying to setup a new account and transponder. It asks for transponder number or account number. Nowhere on transponder does it use the words transponder number. It says FL ID and EZ Pass ID. I tried all numbers and got to next page with FL ID number in the app but then it fails. Website doesnt let me type in either. This is insane. Then the app says my browser isn't up to date...in their app. What? How does that make sense

The app is not designed for the year 2022. It's still back in the 1990s. It does not send in email contact requests after filling out all that info that they want. The State of Florida can certainly afford to do better. And that starts with hiring people to answer the phone.

App doesn't load properly after a log in with no checkbox selected. There's a false update redirect. Login page stays put after a log in attempt but somehow you can still access the app. Bottom menu icons redirect to your browser and do not use secure https. Also, "remember me"& "set up touch id" check boxes are non functional. They redirect when selected in the log in process take you to the terms page, you click Agree and it errors out (unable to verify the data you entered etc) 😑

Was scared to try after seeing it's terrible rating, but was brave. It did everything I needed to activate a new mini pass on an already existing account. It's just super slow to go around in menus. Hey, websites are fine, not everything needs a freaking app.

App is trash. Trying to create an account with a SunPass I just purchased, and it insists I buy one online or directs me where to purchase (already purchased). Then, it freezes and tells me to update my browser, even though I have the recommended browser already installed and updated. Restart the app, and it bricks again.

This app is constantly failing. Half the time it won't let me log in. It keeps telling me to use the latest version but when I try it shows that I have it in Google play. I've tried emailing to ask for a phone call back through the app and 4 days have went by still no phone call. Seriously needs some work

Have app on two phones for several years, unable to use today. Tried reinstalling, still no luck. Had to get daughter to enter rental car info via laptop, otherwise I would be up the turnpike without a paddle 🤦‍♂️ If they can't fix the bugs, should revert to previous version

Poor APP because it will not open. App sits on Blue Screen and then you cannot open it or even close it. How long does it take to fix your app. When will you fix the app. It's been several months or years now. Calling the Sun Pass phone number is useless as they never answer. Poor system with SUNPASS. 12.9.21 New update but still isn't fixed. Unbelievable. Ok, you finally have the app working again but not sure why it says New Update version available when I have the latest version.Unbelievable

Everything from purchasing the SunPass mini transponder from a vending machine to setting up the account/activation of the transponder using the app was a royal pain in the a _ _. Definitely needs clearer instructions for the first time user to make it user-friendly. Just walking you through the steps would be a big improvement. As it is, too many choices for the first-time user and you don't know which button to press. The app wants to sell you a transponder, but what if you already bought?

This is a very poorly written app. It won't create an account with a 10 character password, it seems to think it is less than 8 characters. The requirement of having to set up a login ID, rather then using your email address, is archaic.

Can't complete setup. Website asks for zip code, but no one asked me for my zip code when I bought it at the welcome center, so that doesn't allow me to continue. Tried to register new account. Says transponder already registered, but it's brand new out of the package so how is that possible? And doesn't let me continue to create an account and pair it in any way. What? How is your setup process this awful?

Not worth the hassle. The app doesn't register the transponder correctly and also doesn't link the website information either. Overall a waste of time and simply frustrating to use.

If you are on a budget do not save your card on the site. It will set up, without permission, a minimum reload balance of $25, and do it as soon as you get below $10 on your sunpass.

Prompts to install the latest version of browser when the browser is up to date. There is no way to set up a new account after purchasing a new transponder from a retail outlet. When attempting to create a new account on the website, the only option available involves purchasing a new transponder... Why are we selling these in stores when there is no way to set up a new transponder? Please fix your garbage app and your garbage website, SunPass.

A little tricky to find the place to add a rental vehicle, but once you figure it out it works great. Wish there was a tab right on main page to add a vehicle!

Difficult, confusing app. I bought a SunPass Mini at Publix. I hopped on the app. I went through the entire registration process INCLUDING typing in the mini's transponder's number that the app asked for. Then, it said "what type of transponder do you want to buy? The mini or the pro?" 'AFTER' I had typed in the transponder number per the instructions. Then, the app would not let me go any further without purchasing and waiting 5 to 7 days to receive what I already had. TERRIBLE APP.

Almost 1 year after having problems with this app, I am AGAIN having problems. This time, the app will not get past the Sunpass loading screen. I can't see any account info. I am officially going to be switching to EZ Pass when my balance depletes (don't know when that is... I can't see my account balance in this app!!!!) Definitely can tell that this is backed by a government organization. If it wasn't, the app would probably work.
