Sunrise Sunset

This application is fantastic! It contains amazing visualizations and it is backed with accurate astronomical computations. It gives a lot of insights about Sun's position. There are data about Earth's Moon, as well as, the planets of Solar System. Besides, it is simply a joyful app to use. One can see that it has been developed by a passionate. Highly recommended! :)

Still love app for when i need this info. And yes after update there are now popup ads and a banner ad at the bottom for me.

I've been happily using this for quite some time. The most recent update has rendered it very difficult to use. The database of towns has shrunk to almost none. Wanted to find times in Northern Wisconsin. None of the towns in database. Tried to pick larger towns that are about the same latitude. Did not contain Duluth MN or Traverse City Michigan. Minneapolis was as close as I could get.

Great info. The 3D wireframe is excellent, as is the planets info. The one thing I really wanted isn't here; namely a widget with a diagram showing horizon, sun's current position, and astronomical, nautical and civil sunrises and sunsets. I go out walking very late/ early, and this info is important for that.

totally useless. had to enter my lat/long 5 times before it took. then it told me local sunrise was a 2 in the afternoon. double checked time zone. double checked lat/long. sunrise still at 2 in the afternoon. I know how to enter lat/long. I know how to calculate GMT zone (Zulu). this was just nothing but frustrating.

This app is very informative, useful and stable. Having owned Android phones all the way back to the first 2.x versions I have never had a single problem with this app on any device or any iteration of Android.

Getting reliably wrong notifications... or rather the right notification, that says the right time, but the notification does not come up at the right time. I set it to tell me 15 min before sunset, and it tells me mid day that the sun will set at a given time wich is correct. If I swipe away the notification it will not show up again at the right time. The notification is based on not my local time but the app does display my local time. Where can I email screen shots and a better discription?

It's one of the good apps which are made in India. As a Astonomy seeker, this apps literally gives all sorts of informations, it even precisely tells about the rising times and the setting times of the planets. After updating to the latest version, i have found that this app have become more advance and providing Real Time 3-D visualizations such as of orbiting Earth around the Sun, or on the other hand Sun and Moon's relative postions in the sky etc. Really thank to the developer's hard work!!

Hi... I downloaded this app with the intention that it will help me in waking up before Sun rise. But it only show notification no alarm sound. How can one get up with out an alarm. I request to devloper to do something regarding this issue. Thank you.

Based on elaborate review of many top apps: #1 Found Sunset Timing incorrect. #2 Moonrise Moonset timing in widget are in inverter order #3 3D page should have auto aligned true north #4 UI is not appealing, looks cluttered, small fonts that too narrowly aligned based on flaw price asked for upgrade is complete mockery

The app is so amazing that I have been using it since 2017. However, in 2020, there is a bug that keeps forcing me to pick the city name consistently which makes me unable to use it anymore. I hope this problem can be dealt soon.

Very nice app, nicely designed compact app. There should be provision to share the app with friends and earn points to make it free of ads... i want to purchase but the price is little high . Also want to share with my frnds interested in astronomy

This is a nice application not just to know sunrise/sunset times, but also shows number of 3D views which can be used to understand motion of Sun in sky, etc. For people who already understand these things, it can be a helpful tool to explain these concepts to someone else.

Why in the widget would you put most of the screen space into a big orange ball? Why wouldn't you make the value of the widget the sunrise and sunset times shown in a more readable manner instead of being placed with the big orange ball?

There is a bug with the app. The widget once brought to the screen won't update as per current day.

Very simple, very intuitive... Has all the functionality I want. Ads are visible but don't get in the way.

I really like this app, no very annoying pleading for money pop ups. However, gone and changed my phone to apple and now missing it. Any chance of a iphone version

Fantastic useful app. Easily helps me with sunrise and sunset information as I plan backpacking events months in advance. Also helpful when scheduling specialty hikes - like s mountain peak sunrise hike.

I find this useful, as I am a runner and if I am planning an off-road run I can work when it will still be daylight. However there is bit of a a glitch as often when I open it, it just says N/A rather than give the sunrise and sunset times

Ok, but changed phones and all of the sudden the 1 x 1 widget doesn't work anymore. Rest of the app works fine larger widget works too. But need small one

This is my go to app for all things related to sunlight and more. I love this app, and I highly recommend it. It's easy to use, fun to look at, and it's educational. If you're planning a trip, I recommend using this app to understand what kind of sunlight you'll have.

Absolutely fantastic app but the widgets don't scale well to a tablet screen size. If they did, 5* and I'd be happy to pay for the non ad version
