Super Cat Tales 2

It's a big improvement over the first game, Super Cat Bros. it adds new features, such as the ability to switch cats on the fly, the ability to equip items, and more. The story is better, and it makes much more sense. Only issue is the amount of grinding you have to do. But overall, great game Neutronized!

Improved the original very well. The controls are very fun to use and unique. It is very fun to explore levels and figure out how to reach high places. Exploration is rewarded well. The game encourages the player to go back and play older levels to find secrets that were previously inaccessible if they so choose. Pacing and difficulty is perfect. The game has a great balance between introducing new concepts while expanding on old concepts in new challenges. Some framerate issues occasionally.

Game's just good! It's way better than the first in so many ways and the story was just absolutely amazing! I fell in love with the first one and this sequel definitely made me feel the exact same way. The controls were really responsive too and thankfully, the screen size for my device was adjusted perfectly. Definitely a fun game, in my opinion. :)

Cute and fun game! I love this game, but I have been having an issue where the background/sky is flickering between black and the proper background. I also sometimes see a bunch of sprites in a row, like a sprite sheet whenever I finish a level. It doesn't effect gameplay, but it is a little annoying.

It's cute. Kinda fun. The controls are annoying sometimes when you're just trying to inch forward toward the edge of a ledge and you accidentally start sprinting off. Or when you are sprinting to jump and then you fall off the ledge you jumped onto because you always slide a little after you stop sprinting. Between accidentally sprinting off an edge and not being able to stop once you sprint/leap onto a platform, it can be difficult to make jumps, and you end up having to repeat attempts a lot.

I was first intrigued when I saw this game for the first time, and throughout my experience... it was great. It gets 4 stars do to few things though, 1 massive flaw being G R I N D. Some parts I had to grind to get a needed item in the shop, the other flaw was the ending seemed lackluster, and had an easy final boss. Other than that the game was challenging, had fun gameplay, interesting characters, a great story, that had me kinda on edge, fun bossfights etc. I can easily recommend this game.

I love the gameplay and the cute characters. But there is one thing i want you to change! Whenever i press to watch an ad to revive myself or watch an ad to get double the coins, sometimes the game crashes. This happens so often and it annoys me alot. Please fix it!

Overall, the game is great. I love the story mode and I like the idea of using different cats for different power-ups for different scenerios. The concept is good. One major flaw so far is the frame rate dropping badly. The game runs smoothly at the beginning, but begins to run slow making the gameplay hard to enjoy. For this reason, I will uninstall the game until the issue is resolved. Don't feel discouraged, the game is great, but gameplay due to frame rate is what makes it hard to enjoy.

Without a doubt, just like the first game it is a very cute game and I was pleasantly suprised to see another story mode. However, several stages have strange glitches. I hope this is fixed. Good game though still worthy of 4 stars. I've also to note that the adds that are meant to double the amount of coins don't even work as well as the continuations that are limited to 3. Though we are never informed about this. The controls are rather difficult to use but not impossible.

The game is overall great, lots of levels to play throgh, easy controls, and loveable characters. My only problems are that the game runs at a very slow pace. I can only go play through the beginning level without lag. My second problem is buying items. In the first game, items weren't really essential to collect bells unlike in this one. Grinding coins to get items for bells can be tedious and it takes some of the fun out of the game unless your willing to pay $5 for half price.

I just love it. But it has two glitches/bugs that make the progress around three times longer. The coins: when you watch an ad when you finish a level, it doesn't give you the double coins. And when you exit a level, it sometimes discounts coins. Why??! I had 277 coins and when I finished the level I had 249. Sometimes, it doesn't even give you the right coins. If you collected 100, it gives you 50. The lag: after 2 levels I have to restart the game because the lag makes it impossible to play.

So far, this game is really fun! It's a 'retro' game with cats, what more could I ask for? Controls are a bit iffy at first (something replaces the jump button, to specify) but you'll get used to it after the first few levels. The storyline is interesting too, and it gives off a sense of originality that j haven't felt in a while. I completely recommend downloading the game, especially if you like things like Super Mario.

Great game! I love cats, as well as pixel art! The game had lots of cool, unique levels and equally great music to accompany them. The story was beatifully told through charming cutscenes that gave all of the cats their own unique personalities. The controls may be awkward for someone playing for the first time, but quickly became second nature to me. I can't believe how much can be done with just left and right inputs. By far the best mobile games I've ever played, even over the original.

Pretty great game overall. I was very glad to see a continuation on Super Cat Bros and you guys did it so much better! My only complaint is that the game tends to drop frames every so often, ruining immersion, and generally freezing the screen for a second or less. I'm on a Stylo 4 so I'm not sure if it's my phone's hardware or the game. Either way, it's not a huge deal but if this is a common problem, it would be great to see it fixed!

There's not much to say; it's just a great sequel. After completing the 3 worlds that have been put in the game so far, I can say that there are great character introductions and a much better story. I can see there are some glitches (out of bounds collision detection) but every game has those. There are loose ends to tie up but I'm sure they will be resolved in a future update. Although, I was struggling to find 60 bells to open those gates; they're not hard to find, but they're mostly locked behind items (mainly the shovel)

LOvE this game SO MUCH. I've been waiting for the sequel ever since I finished the last game, I see alot of people dislike the jump controls but I think it's fine. the game Is a puzzle game, it involves critical thinking to maneuver around, and as frustrated as I get it's fun learning. also, this game is mobile only, it's only designed to use your fingers and tap the screen. the graphics are beautiful and adorable ^^ keep up the awesome work! making games like this takes more time.

I have a lag issue, when I open the app, the first level I play runs smooth and awesome, but the more levels I play, the more laggy it becomes, the only solution I found is to restart the app, but it's kind of tedious and I'm pretty sure it's not my phone because I don't remember having this problem in other NEUTRONIZED games. I would really like if you fixed it because I love this game, the levels, the graphics, everything! So yeah, that's all, sorry for my English!

Okay. This game is AMAZING! I love the retro style and gameplay. And how the developers got over the lack of controls on a mobile device was brilliant! the cats are cute, the story is amazing, and the character's different abilities are so mutch fun to use! Just have to put it out there, this game is amazing. the frame rate drops occasionally, but it doesn't cause too much trouble with the gameplay.

While the game is adorable, the controls a mess. Jumping is difficult, and landing where you intended to is nigh-on impossible. I'm willing to try to get the hang of it, but frankly, more traditional controls would have made this a lot more enjoyable. Edit: While I can't honestly say I ever liked or mastered the controls, it's a pretty engaging game in spite of that ongoing frustration. Definitely worth checking out if you're into this genre.

Super Cat Tales 2 is a fun adventure about a group of cats stopping the evil tin robots. The adventure is divided into levels which have up to three bells (required to enter some levels) and lots of coins (required to purchase items and collect some bells). The cats contrast in appearance, attitude, and abilities, so it's cool to see how the characters are utilized in progression and plot. The environment is simple in color and design, providing an amiable tone. All in all, it's a fun game. 5/5.

Like most of the critical reviews, the idea of only being able to jump when running off cliffs feels awkward. Most of the collectathon levels are hard af. One level, where I had to collect 3 peppers to progress, it took me an hour to pass because I had to make sure I didn't die while making it to the end, mainly because the controls are horrendous. All the cats are useless except for McMeow, who can actually destroy enemies. If a jump button was added, it would make the game way easier.

Love the game but found a bug. In secret falls, where you are supposed to use the balloon it keeps popping (viewed several guides to make sure I had the right spot). I can't proceed with that level and I've heard one or two others having this issue too. Couldn't find a place to report bugs so here we go. Hope it gets fixed!

Love this game, especially its lore and story. All the main cats (characters) you get along the way have different interactions with one another. Many diverse levels, love it so much. Only issue is finding certain bells. Some bells require special items that can be bought from the shop. But the coins you get along the war are very low. It takes a bit of grinding. Overall, love this game.

It really is better than the previous game (apparently called Super Cat Bros in Android), and with a storyline that makes sense, or fit. Although I'm a bit confused that since this is a sequel, how come the Cats (such as Alex and Kuro) don't know each other, but other than that, I'm glad to see them all again. The levels are difficult, maybe even for some people who played the first game such as myself, but what's a good game if there aren't any challenges? Looking forward to the second half of the game, keep up the excellent work!

I love this game soo much. The 8-bit graphics and the simple but very catchy music make this game great. Although the game is great, I would like the story to progress because once you defeat one of the major bosses, I believe you go into this cave and find Luna and yeah thats all she wrote. Besides all of that, I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to kill some time or get that nostalgic feel.

I love it! It has amazing visuals, and you can tell the developers actually put effort into this game. I love that it has an actual story that is actually interesting. I love how they develop their characters, and everything else. Though it is frustrating that it takes so long to build up enough money to buy an item required yo finish a level, I dont think it's fair to dock stars for that

I feel as if this series that Neutronized has created has potential that far surpasses these games. It has a great story for a mobile game and all the positive points I gave about SCT1. The only drawback I can think of is that every time I play a stage with the tank like the S.S Gear, the game slows down considerably afterwards. I don't know if it's the game or my phone or whatever, but either way, it's a nice game. I can't wait to see what happens in SCT3 if it comes around eventually. [💎]

This game is even more than I was expecting from the trailers and dev logs. It had a perfect blend of new and old assets, and the music brought back lots of nostalgia from the first game. I'm really close to 100%ing the game, as I will a few times in the future. Fantastic game, Neutronized really poured his heart and soul into it and it's more than worth a download.
