Super Simple Shopping List

Update: Have enjoyed using for many years. But now it makes you watch a long ad (at least 1 min) that is just a waste of time. Especially if trying to see your list in a store to check items off. Works great. My favorite part that you can send the list to someone else.

I loved this app. Been using it for probably almost 5 years until my most recent update, now ad's take over almost every time I edit my list. I Hate it! The ads Interrupt me now when I am trying to do my shopping quickly especially with 2 children in tow. I would pay not to have ads - I loved this app but now I will probably seek an ulternative.

Used to be great and easy to use, only a few ads. Now it's unusable, loud video ad every time I open it or tap on anything, which you can't skip for a few seconds. Sometimes 2 in a row.

I don't mind the ads in the border, but a pop up ad that runs for a minute every time you click something has me shopping for a new app. I can't check off or add anything without being interrupted.

So far great and exact to the app description. At first an ad was popping up after everything I input, which was gonna be annoying, and would have defeated the whole purpose of downloading the app, (to help utilize my time in the store), then to spend more time watching ads. But after a few minutes the ads got further away in popping up, to I didn't even see them anymore. The app is very easy to understand and pretty self explanatory. It's a must to try, you won't be disappointed.

I like it..... A-LOT!!! Been using it for 3 years now .....It's super simple...Not kidding. I get to get my groceries when I'm at the store and not leave my shopping list on the refrigerator. That's amazing!

Since the ads spam has come in, nearly unusable. Trying to tick something off in the shop...stupid 30 seconds ad shows up.

Still Love this app. I just noticed I will get an overload of adds in the middle of writing to app. Then I need to get out of app and sign back in. Anyone know why this is going on?? Not sure why? This is why I dropped to 2 star. Fits my needs daily

Enjoyed for a long time. It was an excellent app but now forces you to watch a long advert which makes it unusable.

Pop up ads take ages until you can close them when you are in a rush shopping is so annoying. I'm going back to a paper list!

Loved this at first. Now full 30 second ads for stupid phone games you can't skip EVERY TIME I CLICK ON MY LIST. UNUSABLE.

Unfortunately have to agree with the most recent reviews. Was excited to use this app until I added ONE item to a list and automatically got sent to watch a ONE MINUTE add. Ads are fine to keep apps free..but a whole minute? And after adding ONE item?? Sorry, but it's a disappointed no from me

I enjoyed it before the ads started coming through after every 2 entries. Get rid of the endless ads or I change my rating to a 1 and uninstall.

Like the name says, it's a super simple shopping list app that works as it's supposed to. The thing I've grown to hate about it are the ads. The little banners are okay, I don't mind them, as long as they don't bug in front of my shopping list (which they do regularly as of recently). What I hate is that there are 30s ads that block my whole screen. This makes it unusable, especially when you're in a hurry, because you can't cross something off, can't add something etc.

Love this app. Like most people, I've found myself at the grocery many times and realized my list was forgotten at home. I never forget my phone! I set up the colors to be different sections of the store, instead of different stores, and it works wonderfully. It really keeps me organized while shopping. I paid to ditch the ads a long time ago, as I do with any app I truly enjoy. Totally worth it.

Excellent simple shopping list I have been using this app for at least 2 years and have just synced it onto my new phone. I love its simplicity. No complicated set up, just enter what you like and go. Items in the list toggle between dark and light depending on whether they are "on" your list or available to select. The customisation options are available but do not clutter up the main screen. Execellent work by the developer. I wouldn't be without it.

I like that you can personalize it. I work best with color visual clues so each item is grouped and EZ to remember. But the items you get don't individually clear off. So next time I use the list I still see older items. You have to delete the entire list rather than item by item, making it more time consuming to keep scrolling past old stuff to get to new spaces. There are color fades but they really aren't that helpful.

App name says it all. Great feature to have shared lists. Minor behavior issue with the keyboard on my android phone as it stays on the screen after I have added items to the list and only the one partial list is visible. I used to close the app to get rid of the keyboard to access the lists. I recently discovered double tap on the keyboard hides it and I can access my lists. If this is the intended functionality, it would have been nice to have it documented. Review for paid version of App.

Very impressive app! I like how it's simple to add several items at the same time to one category. That is impressive! One bug, the categories buttons is too small when you add new items. They need to resize. One thing is miss is the sharing of suggestions across devices/accounts. That makes it easier to communicate the same product. And buying more colors is very expensive. Seriously? I don't mind paying for unlocking it from ads but the colors/categories. But $100 for more categories.

I've had this app for several years now and it's awesome. I was going back through and looking at updates. I don't see a paid version but I paid 99-cents - and I have no ads at all...zero. amazing It's nice that they have created it to be able to share with Google Drive. I don't need to share with anyone and since I like my privacy this app has absolutely no permissions - including no permissions to storage - on my phone and yet it works perfect. No pop-ups asking for permissions. Great app.

This app was perfect, did everything I needed, colour coded categories it was Amazing. Until the ads have taken over. A little one down the bottom you can deal with, but when you're being interrupted by long videos you have to wait through to add another item? I'm sad to have to uninstall this, but I can't use it anymore.

This was a great app. I listed everything and was able to specify where to shop. BUT, all of a sudden, everything but the additions in the last day was gone! I am lost to try to recreate the lists and cannot find a way to restore the items! I depended upon the app to list it and forget it untill I was shopping, now...

The reason this is The Best Shopping List App is because the word Shopping can be replaced with To Do List or anything You Wish. With the 9+ different Color Choices denoted to Whatever Store, Task or Your Choice, Simple Shopping List is the Best. If you really just need a grocery list, this app has all the bells and whistles also such as adding the prices of each item. I highly recommend!

It was a good app and I was enjoying it until ads started popping up I shouldn't have to look at ads to do a shopping list we get enough ads on everything else we do

I paid £4.89 to purchase the app (remove advert) in March. Fine until yesterday that adverts appear while using it. Ridiculous! Emailed to developer to complain but nobody has replied!

The convenience of this app , makes All the difference in the world 🌎!!! Meaning how many times have you been at the store and your list is at home 🏘️??
