After installing KingRoot and rooting with it. Please reboot your device and verify you still have root, before running Super-Sume Pro. During Super-Sume's process, if Kingroot keeps popping up at any time asking for root access, please do not allow access back to it.
Note 4 users, this will fight for your right for root !! (Warning: Do NOT remove apps from /system/apps or /system/priv-app or it could cause issues. Block them instead from either the command line or with Debloater)
Also, Note 4 users, turn OFF automatic updates in the Playstore, because it will uninstall and reinstall this app during an update and when that happens you will lose protection.
Kingo Root users, if after you run the app and you see it re-launch and ask for SuperSU permission, the app might hang after you press the Big Blue button on Stage 2, just force close the app and run it again, it should then run fine.
Soft reboot button built into the program on the upper right, under the context menu / 3 dots..
(KingRoot 4.1 users, install this AFTER you have rooted with KingRoot !!)
KingRoot 4.8.2 should work, but if you experience issues, follow the KingRoot 4.1 instructions above.
Sony Xperia Z3 users, if you find that after you run the app after rooting with KingRoot 4.1 upon a reboot, that your system loops on the home screen crashing, you need to boot into recovery, factory reset and then when the phone comes up, you go to the PlayStore and install SuperSU and you should find that you are completely rooted with SuperSU and no signs of KingRoot exist.
(Kingo Root users / KingRoot 4.5 and above users just install it and run it)
If you are running an older version of KingRoot, prior to 4.1, you need to upgrade it prior to running this for best results.

So unfortunately the rooting methods available to most Android users has diminished over time. Fortunately there are some good rooting programs available though. One of these is Kingroot. While it is good at doing what it is intended to do, we do not know for sure all of the information it is collecting and sending to China. So with all of that said, this program will remove all of the Kingroot applications and associated binaries and install SuperSU and allow you to update the su binary, etc..
This is the process that you MUST follow in order for this to be successful prior to KingRoot 4.5:
* Once your device is rooted install this application, do not install it prior !!
If you have temp root and are on KingRoot prior to 4.5 you will need to reboot your device first, re-root with KingRoot and then install this application AFTER you are rooted and run it.

I've used this application before and it works beautifully a few years ago. I go and install this again on the same tablet but the licensing seems to be broken or something. I try to 're download It as I haven't picked up this tablet in years. it's a shame because I really liked this app to get rid of this bloatware king root
Just hilarious. I just looked in my email, and seen a receipt for this product. It was dated for yesterday. 2 things. I DID NOT BUY THIS I have a Zenfone 4 max. that is the first thing. Secondly. I have not used my phone in 3 days. The purchase could not of been made by me. and as I type this from my computer and search this software on my phone playstore, It does not even come up. What freaking scam is this! refund me.
Worked awesome, used it on ZTE Speed n9130 to replace Kingroot 5.3.8 (Before running Kingroot the secret sauce for old ZTE devices is to run adb command "adb shell reboot disemmcwp" to prep the system volume to not be protected as much so that Kingroot can persist) This is very cool that this works, because there is no recovery for that device (as it is an obscure 2014 ish $20 Walmart phone) so if this app did a bad job I'd have a brick. Very good work as I didn't want to keep Kingroot on there for too long as it seemed sketchy.
It worked for me without issue and allowed me to update a phone that would otherwise be useless. If it doesn't work for you then contact the developer before you give it 1 star. Google also gives you time to get a refund if it doesn't work. For me, the app was well worth the price.
The application does not work. I immediately notified the owner by email. 24 hours passed and I did not receive an answer. The application stands with the message "Processing, please wait". It is an SM-T530 tablet, OS 5.0.2. with KingRoot v5.3.7 installed. Not antivirus installed. Android is clean, factory reset applied before installing your app.
using samsung s4 mini - hangs on stage 1 indefinitely. it didnt prompt me to install supersu at prep stage either as ive seen on video instructions online. also keep getting a notification that superuser has stop working.
i followed all the instructions that this app AND the developer gave after i rooted my galaxy s4 & when i was prompted to reboot my device, & i did, it would only boot back to the at&t splash screen & that's where it has stayed since. i emailed the developer about my issues more than a month ago & i still have yet to get a response. i have my friend, who is more than computer savvy, trying to help me get it back to stock firmware, but as of yet, to no avail. thanks for nothing developer guy. smh
Same issue as the user below, Jim Reaper. Followed all the instructions that this app AND the developer gave after i rooted my ATT LG G3 D850 & when i was prompted to reboot my device, & i did, it would only boot back to the at&t screen & that's where it has stayed since. Looks like its Bricked.
When you have a phone that can be rooted because of this then it must have but all the new apps I haven't seen one that this can use to root it in quite a while.
closes as soon as i open it , will rerate if fixed and removes KingRoot. if you need more info please ask, i really want supersu not king trash.
Well worth the asking price. Do make sure that you READ the clear and simple instructions provided by the developer on this page FIRST and everything should work fine.
Your application will not stop crashing. It will not even open up at all.

wasn't this supposed to root my phone? it did and es file explorer still won't let me get root access. I'm so annoyed
i payed for this app when it first came out and its one of the best playstore purchases ive made. just read how to work it snd dont be stupid and it will work.
Worked damn well. I'm now running the SU binary without Kingroot on my Galaxy Tab 4. It was worth the $$, for sure,
i have kingroot latest version installed and this appvsays itcis not. Titanium says my device is rooted. Got refund.
bricked a phone for me.. run away recovered the Samsung phone with great difficulty. zero minus stars

Lots of 4 stars - but didn't work for me and my Verizon Ellipsis 8. I should have done a better job of due diligence. After I had a problem I searched the web for solutions and found many people with the same issue after using this program. Kingroot did root my Ellipsis and Super-Sume Pro did remove KingRoot. At the end of the process it asks to update binaries … that is where my problems started. Others have experienced similar issues. I now have to take my tablet back to Verizon to see if they will reload the base OEM ROM. Hopefully I will be back where I started and look for a different solution.
