SuperCoach AFL (classic)

This app is so frustratingly terrible. It's got almost everything you want but it all works so badly. it's constantly refreshing or freezing. For a live competition where you might have people go out and need to trade quickly whilst not at home this app is useless. it constantly freezes or locks in two screens on the trades page... perhaps the most important function of the app. everyone i know that plays supercoach has the same problem with the app so not just a bad inatall on my phone.

Very slow and pages frequently don't load and requires restarting. App runs like it is the front end for a webpage loading in the background not like native app built for purpose. This has been the case since the app was created. It has got better over the years but compared to other fantasy apps it's nowhere near where it should be.

It's ok but needs lots of work such as quality of life and bug fixes I have friends who have joined my league but don't show up on the screen one mate can't even select a side keep being told "your team has been deactivated" if the bugs don't get fixed I'll move to nrl fantasy at least the app is clean

Unable to use Facebook sign in, when using the app, as it is trying to open in private browser (android). Terrible app, doesn't work. Herald sun fix the app, so people can use it. Very frustrating having to use browser each time.

The new version is terrible. Doesn't take you straight to your team or comp or match day but to the main screen of all the sports, have to continually click through to check your scores. Can't see all the team's on the ladder because the bottom team is cut off by the menu bar at the bottom of the app.

Hybrid app development was a bad idea, it always yields horrendous UX and unnecessary problems. This app is a fine example of that. I do hope that whoever signed off on choosing an inadequate and high-risk approach is made accountable for the failure...oh it is News Corp, well that makes sense. Also, locked in portrait is a telltale sign of a poorly orchestrated app project. You broke the back button, app dev isn't your game.

Just a terrible app. It's clunky and not intuitive. little things like scroll bars so thin and hard to pick up. I was hoping for improvement in 2021 but after unsuccessfully trying to download the app for 20 minutes I expect it will be the same old problems. I enjoy the game but suffer through the App.

Fair to say this is the absolute worst app in history if I can be brutally honest. It's so slow, it is impossible to trade because it takes forever or you can't trade at all. It's easier to go onto my laptop. What is the point of a mobile app when you can't use it. Useless beyond words.

Slow and not mobile friendly. Tried setting up a league but people got frustrated on how slow it is to trade players, switch between screens, so they uninstalled. Not very user friendly in that sense. Appears to just take you to the website.

This app is getting worse with every year. When are you going to release a non-web based app and make a real app? There are way too many clicks to get where you want, its so unresponsive and you're just throwing good money after bad. Involve your users, build a native app and stop wasting every year with complicated and slow features..

This app is so bad. Nothing loads. If you win the lottery, and it does load, then your reward for your patience is clicking through a heap of menus to get back to the tab you need to use. Last years was great. Why fix what isnt broken. I will be using my phones web browser.

Absolute train wreck of an app. Doesn't actually allow you to substitute players. Just puts whatever players it wants on the field. Many other simple glitches and frustrations. Every year they change this app and every year it gets worse.

Most of the reviews here appear to be written by over-entitled fossils using 10 year old devices. App works for the most part but not as intuitive as using a PC's web browser. Some improvements could be made in regard to UI/UX but as long as you haven't cheaped out on your device or it isn't ancient tech then it should work fine.

No problem with the app itself. But now that teams are only announced before the game it's difficult to plan a team before the round. Get rid of or change the lockout system. And change the bench system. To be remotely similar to an actual game you need to have emergency players that actually play, not 100k rookies that will never play. I usually pay each year but not next year without changes.

Clunky and slow, disorganised and hard to follow menus. Still has players from the previous season who have retired in the game. Didn't even get halfway through setting up a team before if erased all my progress and that was enough for me.

Easily the worst app ever made. It's round 8 and I've already had to uninstall and re-install 6 times to make it work. Edit 01 July 2021 Over two years later and the app is still awful. Great work development team.

This app needs prefference settings so that every time you sign in you don't have to choose which code you want to play or which stories you want to see. If you don't want to play AFL or horse racing ypu should be able to preference NRL so it goes straight to your NRL home page.

Just get a blank white screen and won't load. Same with BBL fantasy app. Have tried reinstalling but won't resolve the issues. Using a Huawei p10, Android 8.0. Will update review if fixed. Update - issue resolved app working fine, smooth and easy to navigate.

the app is useless. cannot use it to trade. just jams up at every opportunity. have to resort to the website which kind of defeats the purpose of having an easy format of an app. on a Samsung 9+ so phone is not the problem

The most user unfriendly poorly optimised app you could find. I don't understand how it continually fails to be beneficial for mobile users to use the app year after year. Surely just copy the functions other successful fantasy apps internationally and go from there

I thought the AFL Fantasy app was bad, but then I used the supercoach app and I had to change that to back up to 2 stars because in contrast, this is basically unusable. Incredibly slow to use, doing a simple trade is basically impossible.

by far the worst app I've ever used ! has been glitching from the start, wont load properly, lag is dreadful and set out very poorly. for a first time user almost impossible to navigate. horrible also this is the first review I've ever written, I felt so bad about it

Gets most things right except for the most important thing.. How can the latency be so high, that it is near impossible to make trades? If you're reading this, just save yourself a headache and bookmark the website on your browser.

Wont show if players are playing or not playing and injured. Seems to just be on android. Needs fixing very slow at refreshing and wont update scores mid-way through a game

Slow, I really, Really LOVE Supercoach, but the app is so uselessly slow... so much so I cant trade on the app, I need to use the net. If I do attempt a trade it takes 5 mins to swap then to confirm it I need to turn the app on and off again.

This app is total rubbish, buggy af. The navigation is terrible. Click back or x and it goes several tabs back not just the previous page. So much clicking to get through all the rubbish. Website is just as bad..

Terrible since latest update. Multiple crashes, slow to load, difficult to do multiple trades. Head to head doesn't have the player breakdown. Very painful.

I enjoy supercoach, but the app is currently unusable. It hangs and freezes, and doing things like trading requires changing screens, which takes forever.
