Superimpose
Here is how it works...
1. Load a background image. 2. Load a foreground image. 3. Mask out unwanted portion of the foreground image using wide range of masking tools. 4. Smoothen the edges with smoothen tool inside the app, if required. 5. Move, Scale, Resize, Rotate, Flip the foreground to place it on the right location on the background image. 6. Adjust the colors/exposure/contrast/hue/saturation etc. of the foreground and the background images if required to match both the images in terms of colors. 7. You are done! Share with your friends and amaze them!
You can also use this tool to do serious photo editing tasks like blending textures or overlaying borders or to do double exposure with adjustable transparency and 18 blending modes.
Masking in the app is the most powerful one available on the app store, just tap on an area of the photo, and the app will mask out all the connected area with similar colors. Or you can use brush, lasso, global color similarity, rectangle, ellipse, linear, bi-linear or radial gradient masking tools. Mask a portion with this tool and that portion of the foreground image will become transparent and reveal the background.

I'm overall pretty happy with the app, but the Android version NEEDS to catch up to the iOS equivalent because there are a lot of features we're missing out on. There is also a bug that causes the foreground to become black each time I open the filter menu or the use the "replace but keep mask" function, which prevents me from lowering saturation, as well as keep masks in place. It's a really bad bug.
i just switched from iPhone to a note 9 & used to use this app (superimpose x) on my iPhone and it was by FAR the best photo editing app I've ever used. However, it's a major disappointment on an Android phone. most features aren't there and is very limited. please bring this up to the same standard as was on the iPhone!
Used this app all the time on iPhone. Excellent editing capabilities. However, after switching to Android, I've noticed some of the more advanced features are missing from this app. Still a good photo editing app but I miss being able to warp photos
overall, it’s a good app. i’ve been using it for at least a year now and haven’t come across many glitches recently, other than when saving the finished photo blurs out the right edge / messes with the colours, but it would be great if the features leveled up to that of the ios version, OR if Superimpose X was uploaded onto the app store.
very lovely app, and tte features and tools are great. only thing i can complain about is that we can only work on one layer at a time, which is very inconvient in some cases. some things i would want to change, but cant. please do fix this!
I love it! For any of you who gives bad ratings, maybe it's because you don't know how to use this app until you make a great edit. I made a lot of edits that are really good, it just depends on how simple or complex you put your edit together. Also, maybe you can put the features from iOS version to Android version too, that would be great
Can you P L E A S E bring superimpose x on the appstore for andriod? i could really use the features. or atleast make an update for regular superimpose where you can work with different layers at the same time. It so frustrating when i have to restart over and over because i masked wrong.
It's a great app but they updated it and suddenly I cant even see the photos I'm trying to edit. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didnt work. It makes me frustrated because i need it for my business and it's the best I could find until now
I don't normally write reviews but this one is worth every cent, love it. Especially being able to zoom in to remove tiny bits you can't normally see. Takes some time to get used to it and learn how everything works but then it's possibly the best editing app. Absolutely love it. Thanks so much <3
I think that you guys should let superimpose to be like superimpose X, because it's very hard to merge the thing if you want to do another layer. I hope you guys can take this into consideration. Or you can add more layers
Great! I love it and all, really good to use and worth the money spend. I make kpop edits for my instagram and never have used such a good editing app (along with PicsArt) to make them. The only thing I would have to complain about is how it is sorta complicated to use. I had to often use youtube videos for some months in order to REALLY understand. Because if some of the things weren't explained to me I would not be able to use it.
Been using this for years and love it's interface, no my note 10+ I experience a few crashes but understand the process that makes it happen so I don't do it. But for years this app has been my go to for cutting out athletes more precise than any other mobile app I've tried.
Rating well as an encouragement but I'm disappointed coming from a previous iOS experience with the app and its upgraded version, Superimpose X, which I sorely hope to see available for Android one day. I hope the Android version catches up to the iOS one, and that you launch Superimpose X here soon.
Very good app. It would be better if you could add more than one effect etc instead of having to do it one at a time. Also you need to be able to save png with the blur tool. It does it but not well.
Biggest issue is it alway imports photos facing the wrong way. Doesn't matter how the are taken or whether they are edited. Occasionally a wide panorama will work but most of the time it is upside down.
I love this app so much! It's great for making niche memes, and is easy to use once you get the hang of it. My only problem is sometimes the app loses the picture I was working on, and the majority of the time I can get it back, but sometimes I can't. Other than that, this app is worth it!
Its a great app but I don't like the way how it doesn't give equal editing tools as compared to iPhone i saw alot of editing in yt from superimpose and i looked great but when i got it in my android phone it isn't the same as compared to iPhone please do something and make it equal for both.
I bought the app expecting the shadow drop to be more professional, however i was sincerely disappointed as the shadow has a strange line on one side. It completely ruined the experience for me, especially because i bought the app specifically for the shadow drop.
love this app for editing photos. also love the fact you can keep the cut out image and change the background multiple times. you also get an excellent finish with the different fillers
i have been using this app for years and its super easy and super efficient. unfortunately it doesnt have some simple tools such as rotating the background picture or adding text. but i have to give it 5 stars as i use it all the time and love using it
this is just plain old terrible you can't get a refund from it, when you like mask your pictures you can't tilt the thing, rotate it. The app doesn't even give you a tutorial on what the heck to do :/
this is a great app but sometimes when i import a 2nd foreground the work i was doing gets deleted and it turns the foreground in a backround which im not happy with. and yes i did do the drop shadow.
I hate this app. i couldnt load any pictures bevause it crashed everytime i opened it. It didnt give me a refund when i tried to uninstall it. And from thelooks of it android has way less features than Iphone
This app on the android does not even compare to the one on Iphone. I bought it again even though the reviews were bad because I thought at least it was a good app when it comes to producing a good quality photo. HOWEVER, THIS APP MAKES MY PICTURES LOOK MORE PIXILATED THAN THE FREE APPS! IM SO DISAPPOINTED!
Annoying app. Paid app but works like hm... only work perfectly the first time. The second try, screen turns black and freeze.
Terrible user experience. Severely lacking on layers feature and stupid exit and complete check/x buttons on the opposite sides they need to be.
I have been using this app for years and love it. It's intuitive and the zoom-in view is wonderful for reference when doing close masking. Lost a star due to it being 2022 and the app still not allowing me to see when my item is center on the screen. This means that I need to use a different app (ex. PicsArt) if I want things to be center. Overall - excellent for masking and blending, less so for putting images on a specific area of the screen.
