SuperNDS (NDS Emulator)

Great emulator. Runs 2ds games wonderfully. There are the occasional ads and sometimes when I exit a game to go back to the roms list, the app crashes. Another problem I have is that it doesn't recognize all the roms. But when I open the room through the file browser, it still opens. Sort of a bug and not a problem. Overall, very great app!

Too many ads. I wasnt even able to properly run or configure this. Every button in the settings results in a different 2 minute ad. If anything is wrong with your emulation and you need to go to settings, you may have to deal with over 30 minutes of ads total. Accidentally press a button? Another 2 minutes of advertisements. Unacceptable

Great emulator most of the time. There are issues with some text being distorted making it hard to see some words but I was able to read dialogue well enough. It displays 3D perfectly and there are no frame drops whatsoever. My biggest issue is the lack of customization. You can't adjust controls at all and when trying to press them it often read the input as pressing on the bottom screen. The ability to resize the onscreen buttons would do wonders. Other than that I recommend it to anybody.

Don't waste your time, this Emulator has waaaay too many ADs. 1 or 2 is fine, but I couldn't even attempt to load a game with the ADs popping up and forcing me to watch for 30-60 seconds. How am I supposed to see if I want to purchase the pro version if 7 out of 10 minutes are ADs? No thank you, I'll just keep browsing for other emulators. Waste of time literally!!

It works fine on the game that im playing, would be even better if you can set where the screen is. If i could move it up a bit, it would be perfect. Also, i have no idea how to change the mapping for the keys, so of anyone could help with that, itd be appreciated

It's a good DS emulator, especially for pokemon. There's an ad when you launch a game, but that's it. That's more than acceptable for a free emulator imo. There's also some good QoL settings like frame skipping and disabling the DS touch controls while using the "buttons". My only major problem is that the developer tries to force you to leave a good review as "incentive" for the quickLOAD feature (after you have already quicksaved), and the popup implies that you "have to rate 5 stars.

Probably the easiest to use emulator on the playstore right now. There can be sound chipping but I think it varies from game to game and device to device. Never had many frame rate issues, but I do run into sudden crashes after a few hours of progress-- the emulator comes with an auto save but still save state frequently. I do think it's annoying to have a ratings pop-up just to quick load though, and the ads are just long enough to be annoying when switching from game to game.

Was trying to play Pokemon platinum, working fine. The emulator was actually pretty good, and playable offline. I didn't experience many ads in general, online or off. Cut to me trying to use a cheat, wanting to see if they worked, and because I was bored. When I put in the code, nothing happened, so reopened the game. It tries to load, but then it crashes, and no matter what I did, even redownloading the app, nothing fixed it. I was disappointed, and was forced to use another emulator.

It's not a perfect emulator, its main issue being relatively frequent crashes, although that's largely offset by the option of autosaves which is a really good idea that I haven't seen in an emulator before. There's also no fast forward button, or the option to use something like a white noise button instead of an actual microphone for microphone related things, which are pretty standard things for most emulators, but if you just wanna play a game it seems to work well enough.

Only rating as incentive, a bit annoying to have so many ads everytime you open settings tho Edit: about half way through a game and it keeps crashing, making me lose progress. It started to refuse reading the ROM after the first few crashes but after restarting my phone it would work again, now not even that solves the issue of no longer reading a ROM that was perfectly working fine before. I'm reinstalling to see if it works.

Actually pretty good so far. A bit confusing with the load and save files as when you start it up it wants to start the game fresh sometimes. But I guess that's the price to pay for having multiple save files on games that used to have just one.

I have been using this emulator for awhile now and I really love it. The games I play runs smoothly on it. But there is a problem with this emulator, it has no fast forward. Most games I play are pokemon and when grinding it takes a long time to do it without the fast forward option. If you do add it I will be absolutely willing to give this 5 stars.

Briefly tends to freeze up. When I restarted the game I was playing with the auto save feature on. It saved before I had a chance to load my game overwriting my save progress and caused me to lose it all. Other than that it's a awesome app allowing you to play all kinds of games. Added update: make sure you consistently save the app crashes constantly.

This emulator is alright. It runs games a little slow, but it's usually not too much of a problem. The thing I absolutely hate is the ads. It's not the ads themselves, but after watching the ad and clicking the button to close it, you exit the entire emulator. If you go back in, it starts playing the same ad again, repeat ad infinitum. This effectively locks you out of the emulator until you close it and open it up altogether. I've lost my progress on some games due to this problem quite often.

Installed it last night and so far so good. Seems like a great emulator however I would like the ability to speed up gameplay (just a suggestion). Also, only about 5 minutes into playing Pokémon white, my emulator crashed which wasn't a big deal since I just started but may be a problem if this continues to happen; I haven't been able to play much so I am yet to find out. Also, the un-skippable ads are quite relentless but I think the fact that the app is free more than makes up for them.

App is good, ads are unnecessarily long and you can't skip them. I wanted to load a game and had to sit through a 30 second ad. Ok. But when I chose my game it showed me another 45 second ad of bait and switch game. And it does this every time I want to do anything involving the menu. JohnGBA has ads, and they're under 10 seconds. Uninstalling. It's just no fun.

Pretty good emulator. Sounds aren't perfect but it's good enough, it's nice the ads don't interrupt play time but it's a little annoying when you get an ad every time you go into setting which you will sometimes do a lot of. When trying to resize the buttons sometimes they go back to regular size. Biggest feature id like to see added is multiplayer support. I imagine this could be done by WiFi connection or possibly Bluetooth.

Unbelievable that this is the first and most popular choice. It crashes too often, most games run at 50% speed like in slow motion, the sound bugs out like when you get a blue screen in your computer. I downloaded it, tried to play Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, couldn't. HeartGold, couldn't. Absolute dumpster trash. Use one of the other emulators, the rating on this thing doesn't mean anything cause it is really bad. I am being 100% honest, don't download this garbage. Oh, and the ads are TOO MANY

Every time I try to load a save state my game has an assortment of outcomes. The most common is that my top screen just goes black. The second is that the state is corrupted and just boots me from the app. Sometimes I'll get lucky and it works. This app also lacks a fast forward option. Overall, pretty pathetic excuse of an emulator.

This emulator is one of the better ones out there. Unfortunately, there are a few minor issues. First, the rumble feature. There doesn't seem to be any way of disabling it, which gets pretty annoying when pressing any control. Secondly, when you try to load larger ROMs. I tried loading Pokemon White on the emulator, but it took a bit of time to load completely. Regardless of the issues i addressed, this is definitely a great app that shows a lot if promise.

Okay so this emu is really good its the only one that worked for me (except for DraStick). The emu would be a hundred times better if there was a speed up option. There are also multiple glitches that need to be fixed but it's no big deal. The occasional crashes that it has is annoying but that is those two are the only downsides that are serious. Overall it has lots of potential i just wish that you could fix these problems

This is probably the best free NDS emulator you could get for Android. However, it crashes frequently and does glitch on occasion. Instructions on how to open saved games is nonexistent, but once you've fiddled around with the app it becomes easier to figure things out. (You have to open the game first, then load a save). The app provides a lot of space for each game to save your files, as well. The actual game browser is very organized and great. Definitely would recommend.
