Superuser access management runs through a so called "su binary". There can be only one of these at a time. So if you install SuperSU, your previous superuser access management solution will no longer operate. So if you want to switch back: (1) Open that application, and search for an option for it to install/update/replace the "su binary". (2) Confirm root-using apps are using the superuser solution you want. (3) Uninstall SuperSU.

I initially installed app as I have experienced someone without my knowledge installing this changing settings or whatever. I've factory reset and encrypted my Samsung device. The problem not solved. After googling it I tried installing to uproot. When I open app it says SuperSU binary is occupied. I'm avoiding repair costs. Can anyone help me please. It's an ex nd whom I trusted. Never clued into me when he talked me out of encrypting that there was another reason then what he gave me.
I don't know why my apps like es file manager cannot obtain the necessary root limitation by itself, and i can't add it manually as well, sometime I reboot my device and change the 'root explorer' switch and it works but some time not. And other apps which need root limitation like my 'real simple image widgets' can not get it at all... It is really annoyed...
Absoultely crappy app. i had root on my cell. was running perfect. when suddenly it cut permission for clean master. even allowing clean master access. cleanmaster still couldnt do anything and popup came. saying allow access. so i opened the app. but couldnt find access manager. i accidently clicked the super su pro option. and. then the app crashed. and then. i am getting problem that i dont have super user previliges. i installed kingoroot.but all in vein. now stuck at binary occupied. fixit
I'm unable to open the app. Has been an issue for several months now. Root is successful but unable to manage settings which I desperately need to change. Unsure what to do since it's advised not to just uninstall app.
My device is Redmi Y1 and am trying to install custom ROM on it. I've unlocked the bootloader. I've seen websites saying I can use SuperSU app to root my device. But am unable to do it. When I check it through the RootChecker app it says "root access is not properly installed on the device". I've also flashed TWRP onto my device through my laptop. I would like to know how I can properly root my phone after installing this app.
Utterly utterly useless. A literal waste off your valuable time. Yet again! a promise of a straightforward installation becomes stuffing around for ages trying to get something to work. The "how to root” links do not work naturally, just a ”502 bad gateway” error. Well done! Classic! 😡🤬
Best root manager ever by far ignore any review that says it doesn't work or that it doesn't work properly the app aint ment to be a one click root app if you install the SuperSu.zip root files which I will have you know you can find in their website as well as full instructions how to flash them on your phone via recovery then this is by far the best root manager app on the store and off the store I have tried many others this is by far the best
never used on a phone with root but loading it up on the phone (reviews are phones and personal op) loads in the same way and when using it on a emulator matching similar setting to my phone it worked perfectly like a charm really great useful app.
the app is good don't get me wrong, but I rooted my phone and Samsung even sent me a noticifaction saying I did but when I got super su it told me my binary was occupied and I tried going on YouTube for help but they all had videos on older version and the steps I took countless times didn't work and the magisk app won't work cause the super su app won't work

I forget it's there, even take it for granted cause it's always there working in the background so I can access my phone's Android as Admin.
i installed supersu last months and without any knowledge I press a unknown key by that the log was changed and became a big issue in my phone that is bad loop .now my phone not working. after installing supersu now it says " super su binary occupied" . now pls help me
TERRIBLE SOFTWARE! Installed and upgraded to SuperSU PRO app. Followed all instructions to the letter & clicked on "How To Root" button...it returned the error "502 Bad Gateway" & then the app locks and hangs. Not a great start! None of the links work except the contact via Facebook link...this clearly is poorly maintained software & does not instill confidence in its developers! I will now have to use a PC to research how to root my mobile & how to use SuperSU! Not everyone uses SadBook!
WHY GOOGLE ALLOWS THIS APP, to still be downloaded and also TAKE MONEY? It has not been updated since 2017. Plus messes up Root boot and you cannot get rid of it even after uninstall because it has written into boatload! SuperSU GUYS, Supply a script to delete boot entry and let people install another without messing up their installation. or at least how to retrieve boot file & exactly what delete AND write to fix it, so 1 can install newer su app that does NOT write boot file Google.con do act
It updated the binary automatically. I have root with kingoroot and have kingo super user. i have occupied almost 4 GB. i just install and it update the binary automatically after getting root access. Thanks
There is a small bug.. in LOGS tab , there are 2 icons on the upper right corner, then I move to SETTINGS tab, those icons disappear.. but when I move back to LOGS tab , those icons won't show up anymore
Still can't work at MIUI 10 Android 8.1. Now Only Magisk works well almost on all android versions and devices. Please make an update to support the latest Android version

I downloaded this app for my TV box and it totally bricked it not even a factory reset on it would fix the problem. play protect needs to look into this matter and I will not be using anything like this again.
V2. 82 i hve installed 4 month before but showing error binary occupied. After many effort also it doesn't fix. Then i installed v2. 78 it is now comfortable compare to latest version.
I had a HTC One One and i was happy to see that SuperSU was installed on it, but when i got and HTC M8 i saw no SuperSU, so i wondered if its even possible for me to install it and here i am, installing it. I suggrst using SuperSU, its a great app.
Really nice for rooting tools on your Android device but my advise is NEVER UPDATE SUPERSU because some user has experienced their device cause to bootloop. By the way, this is very good tool for SU permission.
This is the only supersu I loved so far. Met all my expectations. This app allows us to switch to another supersu app, also allow us to full unroot.
SuperSU is a good application for managing the root permissions in device. I love this app, but the lack of root hide permission made me switch into Magisk before an year.
Ok.. I'm Trying to Unroot and Uninstall this app but nothing's happening, PLEASE PROVIDE A SOLUTION the app automatically became a System app. My phone is Sony Xperia T2 ultra dual D5322, I rooted with DR. FONE from PC.. I want to Unroot my phone now.. Please Reply
this app is good for some phones . have used it with kitkat and now trying with mobicel ultra . if results are positive i add more stars to rate.
The app works great i just need help i hope one of the dev finds this My problem: I went to launcher options and change the icon to invisible and it diapeared and try to find it on my applications but it diapear
I have rooted my device and still I get the error message displayed "SU binary occupied". Worst app. dont download and waste your time to solve the error. simply juat dont download this app
i won't suggest to make this root management app be like Magisk that has hide root feature. but please make it useful when device need to be unroot. i'd tried unrooted for some devices, it ended by bootloop 😢😢
Okay, so I made the app a system app and then it wouldn't work, so I attempted to reroot my device but, no. But I was in my file manager, tried to delete the apk manually, but it didn't have the right perms. In desparation, I clicked on the apk, updated it and suddenly worked. PS: Not to mention I also formatted my device after it didn't work, but I had nothing to lose because I backed up everything important. Overall it is a great app
