The new version is awful. The count on the top front is always showing 0 and not proceeding. Moreover, the new look doesn't feel classic. It has become bit difficult to control the volume of instruments simultaneously.
This is a great & pretty app, but I can only give two stars, because it has a huge flaw that makes it almost useless, at least for me (and anyone who likes to adjust the speed while playing). When you change the tabla's bpm's the beat starts over from 1, no matter where you're at in the current beat, so unless you hit the key exactly at the end of the beat your rhythm will be off. If the new speed could be applied while keeping the beat going (or when the next beat starts) that would fix it. Thx
Beautiful sound, many useful settings. Two things to improve: 1. The play/pause button could be larger to be easier to hit while playing the harmonium. 2. When changing the speed it would be great if the change is applied from the next cycle (beat 1), not immediately
In my opinion Old version was good 'cause of after sometimes only number pops up and eventually that's good to new practitioner. Side by side tanpura sound is so poor, requesting to fix the problem.
Sur Sadhak is a good app, but when you record a song, your voice gets to a lower scale. Please fix this.
Over all a very good app, my only worry is that the tabla and tanpura are not on the same pitch. Hope the developers can change that.
Now with updates application has become useless. Can not press any button. How come the owners do not know this simple thing before pushing a upgrade. And this issue is persisting since many days, they could not update the app yet for the fix. It's better if they can switch to older version. That was fine. Don't unnecessary experiment and spoil the users experience. I am sure they must have seen many Uninstalles because of these button click issue.
It's good app. I think few taal needs to include. For an example vilambit ektaal. While reducing the tempo, the sound is going to fade or distrote. It's needs to improve. Keharwa 8 bits taal needs some other version. Because it's not support the all type of song mood. Overall it's good. I am practicing for long time.
The last update was not very nice. But after the latest update the app started working neatly. After the last update ghe count was not moving,but now it's alright. I recommend this app.
There is issue with tuning. When playing the tanpura at scale b at sa the tabla is playing at re. An additional tuner for the table would be good. It started post the upgrade.
I have to give 1 star because this app was very good but now it's modified, but I don't like the modified version of this app because sometimes it stops by itself. So I want this app as it was before. Thank You.
Perfect and simple with optional tampura, with control and display of pitch, volume, bpm, taal and teka. A great little app, thankyou so much.
It is requested to add in tuner section Hindustani Music Notation like "Kali1" and "Sa" etc. This will be very useful for beginners and persons not having knowledge about western notations. Thanks.
The new update is extremely disgusting. And the pitch is not correct. The old one was better(not the pitch). I'm really very dissatisfied.
Its generally a very good app for those, who want to understand classical music and taal. It helps me a lot. But there are some problems such as sometimes the taabla stops working and the app is closed.I have to open it again yo make it work, And drawing the attention of the programmer I want to say that it is, it really is a very very good app,, but has to be improved a lot. More talls such as TAAL TEORA, should be added😇😇😇
An extremely effort app for practicing Music. the Different default style of taal worhout frills and variations and 2 tanpuras help ehole singing. There are some minir problems with the app, 1. The Tanpura us too shrill and not sweet, it seeme the app doesnt use high quality files. 2. There needs to be different tempo support for Manjira, as it is mistly played at 2 times the tabla tempo. 3. The app keeps running in the background after quitting. we need to force quit it every time.
Yes It's good, but I have a question. Can I install this on multiple devices? like PC and android phone at the same time
It's very nice my music teacher recommended this it is good for classical songs but the update was very nice if your doing classical music you should download it
Very good app . The problem i faced was that most of my songs saved in the song list just disappeared. Also apart from pa the notes in the tanpura are quite harsh . Can you tell me if it is possible to make folders in the saved list.
Good sound...tanpura volume level can be adjusted separately...pitch and tempo can be adjusted...all common taals preconfigured...easy to use. Feature to save user presets in "songs" is also useful. Only thing missing is variations and rolls...hmmm tough to get that in...but would make the app truly amazing.
Hey , everyone should try it who play flutes like me . Timing is very important for flute . There are not even ads.
I love the rhythm of the tabla and how I am able to change the pitch of the tabla. However, when changing the tempo of the tabla, I am unable to change however I want it to be. For instance, tempo of 40 is around the tempo of 100 and when I increase the tempo itself, it goes really slow. Moreover, when I want to change the taal I am unable to scroll properly. Like it keeps lagging. With some tinkering, I am sure this app would a favorite for all classical singers.
I'd been using the iTabla Pro (IOS) for a decade now and this one is almost at par to that one. A few suggestions though,: 1. The Tanpura should have better fine tuning option. The mic access doesn't pick up the proper pitch and it has to be tuned manually each time. 2. The Swarmandal should have an option to customise the swaras according to the Raga being sung. But, kudos to the App. Finally a good one on Android.
Every thing is very nice. But I think few more talls like ' DrutEktall, Ektall, Bhajan, etc. should be added. And the table, when we change the tempo the speed of the tabla should be changed along with it. Means it stops and changes the tempo which should be not done. Must improve this.
After thinking that this app discontinued I received an update today and with it came a bucket load of features 📦. Seriously this is the best app anyone would want to use. The redesign took me some time to navigate but then I understood how it worked. Ad free and works amazingly every time. That's what I like 👏
The app is indeed good but many glitches and isssues hide the goodness of this app. After an upgrade, whenever I start the Tanpura or Tabla newly, the volume of instrument is by default 0% and I have to increase it again and again disturbing me while singing via this app, another issue is if we have turned ON the Tanpura or Tabla and the screen is Potrait it automatically changes to Landscape and the Master in the app gets closed and breaks the rhythm in between. It is good if you disupgrade.
