This is by far the best 'investment' I made for my surfing. Everything Cris points out as wrong, I was doing. It's all the small details that made the difference. So super stoked to report that my stance and foot positioning has improved which makes all the difference. The app is easy to use and there's TONS of free very helpful content. Great Programs!!! I purchased Pop up and Surf skate. I never skate and without this program I will be lost and I wouldn't have that much fun. This program helps me to analyze what I am actually doing wrong on my surfboard. For example heavy back foot a right that is painful on surf skate :-) leaning, or what body actually should do if I want turn to right or left. Nobody explained to me step up a step how to do it and I can repeated until I get it. That is amazing.

Loving the 12 week athlete program, done plenty of strength training before but the focus on surfing and improving your mobility and flexibility is what I'm enjoying. As a 50 year old surfer I had almost given up on me short board due to popup issues ruining sessions, but after 4 weeks of program my popup issues have gone. Definitely helps to progress your surfing and fitness. Cheers

Really makes a difference. I now feel much more agile in the water. Chris seems to have a high level of knowledge of anatomy and physiology and has applied this knowledge to surfing . The routines are easy and fun to follow.

This training program is great. Unfortunately, I got about 1/2 way through and my 30 year back issue flared up (unrelated to the surf program). I’m now back at it, starting over, but found it is a really good for progressing through my recovery. The app is decent despite a few usability quirks, the workouts and movements are clear and concise. Looking forward to getting back in the water!

Sep 26, 2020: Videos seem to be working perfectly. Great explanations. Back to 4 stars. Sep 11, 2020: Most videos don't play with sound and only play first few seconds in pop up training and, as a result, are useless. Back to 1 star. July 2020: A week or so later it was fixed. 4 stars. Orig review: Made this review a while after purchase and trying to reach out. Some of the videos don't play and they don't respond or care. One of the videos is stretch protocols quad. I gave it one star.

I purchased the 12 week program. The workouts/stretches/routines are all extremely well thought out and he breaks everything down really well. I followed the program exactly, along with some additional workout days in between. My shoulder flexibility, core stability, and power generation are far and above what they were before. The movements all translate into the water really well and it has improved my surfing dramatically. I do wish the timer ran continuously throughout the entire workout instead of just the sections but just a minor complaint. Hopefully he adds casting support. Love the program. Plus, I love the phrasing "dumbbell inertia"

The app is super easy to navigate your way around with the added plus of being able to download the tutorials if your out of reception. Super stoked with the programme. I immediately felt progress change going into it for my long term goal and result so i know its worth it. The level of detail and support individually to tailor it to yourself is like no other. It targets everything, even if your not just using it for surfing! Cheers Cris!

Targeted fitness program made by a proper expert. Cris clearly knows his stuff and I can tell this is going to work wonders. Two things would make the app better - sets based on a timer instead of reps (eg. 40 seconds of an exercise instead of 6 reps) so the program could play continuously without having to manually move to the next set, and Chromecast support.

After watching all the video online about doing a perfect pop up I still felt there were gaps in the details of how to train and perform a great pop up. I purchased the perfect pop up program to help fill in these gaps. Genuinely this is a great program! I also realised I was ignorant of my own ignorance. There's so much detail on every stage for both technique & how to train. It was exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'm annoyed about is I didn't find it sooner! 100% recommend 😀🤟

Brilliant, easy to follow with on-point videos. No gimmicks or trendy fitness BS. It takes the guesswork out because you know every movement is relevant and beneficial. Cris is always refining the app and handing out valuable info and insights. Life-changing!

I had installed the app and purchase perfecting the pop up and surf Athlete and , I am really enjoying the app . Like everyone when learnt to surf you went with a mate ,who had a spare board and gave some pointers rest was up to you. After you catch and stand up. You on your way . As you get older and surf not as much as you due to commitments as so you loose mobility and your body change😃 .but with what Chris shows in the the training stretching, body mechanics with strength drills and tips .

A really great app and very easy to follow. I started the 12 week program but then had an old shoulder injury appear. This was nothing to do with the program it's just me not doing enough body maintenance. I think this app is going to be great in building strength were needed and I look forward to doing the complete program early 2020.

Highly recommended. I have bought several of Cris's programs (Surfskate, Cardboard Surfer, and Perfect Pop-Up). All three were excellent and have really helped every aspect of my surfing. Specifically, the Cardboard Surfer helped me surf faster, the Perfect Pop Up improved the strength and flexibility of my weak and tight muscles so I could be smoother with my pop up, and the Surf Skate program has improved my turns and style.

Great app . Purchased the surf athletic app bundle pack and the cardboard surfer and perfect pop up . The perfect pop up was my app to go to and changed my surfing. Now started the surf athletic app week 1 and loving it . Cannot wait to see the results after 13 weeks, as having a hip replacement has made mobility a lot harder for surfing I am hoping all Chris Millis streches and video tutorials makes difference not just for surfing but also to use daily for work and a better life . Great programs and exercises, but would be 100 times better if exercises were in real time and I could cast to my TV and do them aling side the trainer. Fiddling about with my phone on the floor and changing each time I do a different exercise is such a bad experience.

Life changing! I hit 40 & realised I wasn't as fit or flexible as I used to be. Laptop time +long hours behind the wheel=super tight hips +chronic lower back pain.. The increased range of mobility I now have in&out of the water makes me feel much freer physically and mentally: no longer do I wake up wondering how sore will my back b today, it's a revelation! I now relish workout sessions, no more begrudgingly going for a run. User friendly& clearly explained. Absolutely first class. Thanks Cris!

Really Disappointing.. Downloaded this to help with fitness over the Isolation period so I'd be ready for surfing afterwards, the first session alone drove me insane with having lots of silly little 45 second clips that don't automatically move to the next one so you continuously have to go back to your phone to start the next one.. No flow or enjoyment there I'm afraid to say..

I've been following Cris for a few years now and this app really engulfs his experience in a very user friendly way. My advice, use the app as a learning tool, take your time while watching the explanatory videos, take notes. If you're serious about prolonging your surfing life and making it better, these exercises will last you a lifetime!

Stretches for surfers program is unreal. very informative and relative to surfers of all levels looking for a mobility and flexibility program to use. Easily done in the comfort of your home and a great way to wind down in the evening

(My wifes google account)I've been following Cris for years on Instagram and I have used his free content for my tight hips and lower back issues. After 20 years of rugby and over 30 years surfing my body was breaking. I bought the bundle recently off Chris and what really stood out straight away was the details he gives. Most workout apps (and many gyms too) just throw you into workouts without any background or detailed instruction. The workouts are perfect for surfing or snowboarding. Love it
