Surface Pressure Charts for Paragliders - Europe
The maps have the purpose to merely supply you with large scale info. To assess local conditions you will have to consult other sources.
To be able to download the charts in marginal internet connectivity conditions, the charts are supplied as low-resolution images, minimizing the file size. This also takes away the added value of zooming in on the images.
The app is light, fast and very easy to use.

• DWD analysis for +00 and forecasts for 36, 48, 60, 84 and 108 hours
• UKMO analysis for +00 and forecasts for 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96 and 120 hours
• KNMI analysis for +00 and forecasts for 12, 24 and 36 hours
• isobars
• sea level pressure (hPa)
• frontal systems (heat and cold fronts)
• thickness data (in UKMO charts)
The charts are generated and generously made available by DWD, UKMO and KNMI.

any plans for usa maps? -- Your suggestion looks good. Better than noaa.gov experimental maps because they don't include isobars, and yours does.
A simple lightweight meteo chart app without all the attached garbage or ads...wonderful.
Nice app. An additional interesting features would be an automatic sequencing preview.

I am not a paraglider but have been looking for an app with surface pressure charts. This is ideal. I like your simple clear presentation. Thankyou.
Good effort, and could be very useful, but it frequently crashes (with, "Unfortunately, Surface Pressure Maps has stopped") on my device. I also think the beep when the buttons are pressed is unnecessary (ie, to me, a bit annoying). It would be good to have a single button to move forward and backwards through the maps, rather than (or maybe, as well as) having the existing buttons. There is a delay between displaying maps - it would be a good idea to preload the maps, if this isn't done already.

Hey dude. I apologise for my accidental review. I downloaded several apps including this paragliding simulator. That app was very bad and after I uninstalled it I went back to the play store to write a review. I accidentally wrote the review on this app instead. I think the app icon must have looked similar. This is quite embarrassing 😅 Thanks for replying to my review otherwise I would have never known I made this mistake. Anyway, your app is good. Keep up the good work.

Pilots in North America should look for the version of the app specific to that area.

Very good! Please make the charts resizable and add the option to mute the sound to drag time maps! Besides, why isn't there an adjustment menu?
