Informed them that I didn't want to continue to use their product. Billed me $52 two weeks later. Sorted out after 1 week. The product I used for 1 year on 4 devices was solid and easy to use, no issue with the service or capabilities, just being billed 6 times as much this year as it cost for last. didn't sit well with me. Refused the renewal of my subscription and they billed me for it anyway.
Allow me to commend you for the following improvements since I rated you last year. 1- The app is not crashing anymore. 2 - No more data network connectivity glitches. The down side is It's still only compatible with Windows, iOS and Android mobile devices. Not compatible with Android Top Box and Firestick. I urge you to fix across the board compatibility issue, even if we have to pay extra for it. That is the only reason I am giving it four stars. Keep up the good work.
Over the past 2 months this app has been randomly turning itself on and activating the VPN for regions outside of mine. It begins to get annoying when i cant watch videos on my local streaming services because SurfEasy. Also it is impossible to turn off, it takes 3-4 attempts and forcing the app to close and it still mightnt disable itself. S - K - E - T -C - H - Y. I would never trust an app that can control my Internet connection, especially without prompt. Avoid at all costs
I was going to Contact SurfEast Inc.after getting the contact info from this page but seeing how many problems that others have I'm thinking of just canceling my subscription. It doesn't seem that SurfEasy doesn't read these. This doesn't work properly on the Motorola One Action I have to actually use Android's split screen feature. To even activate it.
Pretty easy to use, they have two plans that you can pick, for the free one, it is possible to earn extra protected data, so not that bad. I currently have it connected to my phone and my laptop, and it's working pretty well on both.
Requires payments before you can access the app. I wish Google play store would check this sort of thing. If an app requires payment before access, it should be told up front, and you should see the price on the play store. May as well pay before downloading. This is a waste of my time.
Great and all, but! Recently, "optimized option" started giving me exit gates in the same country that I am. Yeah, I guess this way actually gives the fastest connection, but isn't it the whole point of vpn to actually have access from a different country? Now I have to choose some contry manually, and whila it isn't a disaster, its dissapointing
I had nothing but issues with this installed. It constantly restarted and interfered with my phone and pc functioning properly. To top it off, the free trial runs out before you can fairly try it. Deleted the app. There are others that work better.
I have been using this app for years. Started off great now it's quite buggy. Windows version drops connection Android version will not connect at all. Customer service used to be very efficient but now take time to get back to you. Even after sending Surfeasy a comprehensive email about my connection problems with Android they still just say reinstall restart your device etc. The last time Surfeasy was updated was 2020 so lack of investment is showing. I cannot recommend this product.
It's turning off by itself constantly, that's disturbing. One of the reasons why I have this app is to have the possibility to use Instagram music. And because its turning off by itself I have to uninstall and then again install instagram every time. That's disturbing.
I had no serious issue with this app last year. I just renew my subscription yesterday, but nothing happened. It kept saying that I'm still free user. I checked on my Google Play, I had already being billed. Already send the email to the surfeasy support as well, but still no response though. Please help.
Since the last update this app has been crashing without notification that it's disconnected. reset my devices to factory settings, clean installed. Notified Surfeasy twice, having noticed the feedback on google play. I give up, also they didn't care that they are being slated for bugs in their app on google play.
Unfortunately, this app started messing up my phone and its ability to connect to the internet. It worked well at first, and then it just started making my phone malfunction. The issues stopped once it was uninstalled. So disappointing!
Almost everything was good in the past two years of my paid subscription. Unfortunately, since the past four to five months, my device was being removed from the VPN service to the extent that I had to reset my password to login to my account on the SurfEasy website to remove my device and then login on the SurfEasy Android app for my device to be registered ~ multiple times. I wrote to their customer care, unfortunately this wasn't or couldn't be resolved and I didn't renew for the third year.
Dont use the app. When I first downloaded it, it wouldnt connect, then I tried it a week or so later and it did work. I then ran out of the 500MB of data they give you so I decided to upgrade to unlimited. I paid the monthly fee of €2.39 which left my bank account and I still havent been upgraded, a week later. I emailed them to ask why and I wasnt given a straight answer. Eventually, I just asked for a refund and ai was told since I had no proof of the upgrade, they couldnt refund me.
Worked awesome for several years, but now is very slow. Called customer service numerous times and no one would answer, so I called Sales and they answered, so I forced them to solve my issues. I have a 50 year unlimited plan (Their first product was an unlimited for life USB key (unsustainable business model)), maybe my version is throttled down, but that does not answer the tech support issues. I have switched to Nordvpn.
It was working great for me. I would uninstall and reinstall as needed and pay as needed and it's always worked . Now all the sudden it won't connect anywhere. And I can't write support because it keeps saying captcha verification failed when I try to send a request but there is no captcha that it allows you to manually complete . It's freaking stupid and I'm extremely dissatisfied now .
Pretty good! It could be a little easier to link devices so that it's not having you logged in as a trial on one device and a paid subscription on the other when you have used the same link to set up both devices.
Hi Surfeasy Support, Thanks for verifying my subscription, after following the instructions sent to me.. Log out and log in. It finally became active 😇💕.. Please I wish to subscribe an annual plan.. After this one expires.. *Are there options for extended regions and countries for annual subscription? *And please do make it easy for customers to subscribe always and immediately see the reflection in their account.
From my experience, surfeasy is the best in android hands down... I use all the Top VPN, but surfeasy is the best combination of speed, reliability, ease of use, fast connection and great features. I wish they had a lifetime membership.
suddenly it shows error 1005 unable to contact API (1005) on my ipad and android. I tried reinstall and doesnt work. my both device have the latest version update, both device and softeare update. Been using this apps for 3+ years and suddenly become unusable. What happened?
It's good value but the p2p optimization is non-existent on mobile. There's no Linux support and, despite it running on openVPN, they don't provide support on how to use it. It also keeps disconnecting at random, VERY dangerous considering the total lack of a killswitch on mobile.
Could you add three features please? 1) Adaptive Android Icon & new UI (iOS looks much better). 2) Ability to turn off on mobile network. 3) Ability to exclude certain networks or specify which ones to always connect VPN to. Thx for your time.
It hasn't been updated since 2018 and it does not work with android version 9. I purchased a 1 year subscription and wish I had not. - Update, I received a good response from the Tech Team and it does seem to be functioning properly now.
Works good for avoiding those pesky IP blocks imposed in certain areas. I have been using this service for about a year and a half now and only had two hiccups that were resolved with a simple phone call. I would recommend the paid service to anyone though. They just reduced the price from $2.99 a month to $1.99 a month. Can't go wrong. 01/03/21 Update: worked up til a week ago. Now can't log in at all. Reinstalled.. Still nothing. My favorite VPN but no point in having it if it doesn't work.
