Many market are doing flat $ amount surge and surgechaser is only showing the old multiplier surge. if you want to see where surge is happening and you have the new surge, surge chaser shows the surge late. I caught the surge on the uber app before surgechaser notified me. this app used to be good when the old surge was there. not anymore. they need to have options to show the new surge.
Loved this app the short time I was able to use it. Email from app developer after it quit working. Uber revoked access to their data for all 3rd-party applications. I disabled purchasing additional time. Surge Chaser is effectively shut down and will stop allowing login by the end of this week. SMH @ Uber.
It's fine, when it works. But 95% of the time I don't get any notification when it's surging. The whole dam point is I'm supposed to be able to do other stuff without having to keep an eye on Uber. Why am I paying for this???
Love this app. It's so valuable to be able to see what the surge is doing when you're in a trip.

App no longer works. Does not display history or analytics. Data is easy too late. Had I rated this app a year ago, would have been 4 stars but it's gone to the outhouse. Developer hasn't responded to the 5 rmquestions I had after paying for a year upfront. Will be looming for refund.
Uber shows surging now but Surge Chaser says no surge. No user guide. Gather's up to one week of surge history but one option does not function. There is an option to record when the surge ends (so we can tell how long it lasted), but that option does not work. Unlimited pinpoints are a plus, although they are not always reported when surging. It would be a big help to see the pins overlayed with the Uber map so we can see what areas are surging realtime, allowing us to set more accurate pin points.
Hi Michael, this app is great but, today it seems to not be logged in. Is the server for this down? I know you have a great app that is why I bought it for a year. I am leaving this on the review in hopes you will see it. As for the people who dont understand technology, The uber login is on the uber side not on the app. It is not a scam. Uber released the API's so third party venders could make great apps like this one. Michael keep up the good work.
Great App Michael. I very much like the Analysis section. Are you able to add a feature where I can clear all notifications? I using the latest Android Nougart on a Nexus 6p. I also use over 20 checkpoints because in my city the surge varies across different Suburbs therefore I have to swipe every single notification to clear them. On a weekend night I might receive over 50 notifications. With other standard apps Android lets me 'clear all', but with your app I can't. Cheers I await your reply asap.
Nice scam. You have to give it your uber login info and then all it fors is error to a screen of garbage.
Was working great on S6 but installed on S8 and it won't play sound notification. Messaged support but I've never had a reply.
I installed the app but it wants my credit card information before even giving me ANY pricing info or app information. How does it work? Is it worth it? Is the app working? Based on most recent reviews it doesn't seem to be, so should I bother signing up? I also haven't seen ANYTHING about a "free trial" except in the comments here. I'd say so far, poor deliver but I'd be willing to change my review if I could get some assistance.
This app was work fine till recently ..now it won't making any sound or notify when a surge is taking place.. I have checked all the settings etc... but to no avail shame I wasted money on it
App lies. Pings there's surge pricing at my checkpoints, open up Uber and nadda
Love the concept but one awesome feature I would love to see implemented is having the ability to have separate groups of surge markers like say for those like myself that drive in multiple cities where we only receive alerts for a given area or city without having to delete all those other markers. Other than that it's a nice app.
Great for notifying you when there is a surge and identifying trends. This app helps me get more trips during surge pricing. Period.
works as advertised, but suddenly the sound alerts stopped working. I have a samsung galaxy s8 edge , android 7. i have all the notification properties turned on in the android settings for the app. now its stopped working on my s9! lol
This app is awesome, works best for me at airport now I know best times to hang out at airport and expect high demands.
Horrible app. Server down messages, and when you get past the message and try to log in, no sms code message is received.
Was hoping for historical data but all I get are real time notifications. Would be much better if there was a way to look back at the data. Maybe there is but I can't see how and there is no direction.
Waste of money. Paid subscription and 1 week goes by now and now can't log into app. 2x surge on iPhone or iPad is better and cheaper if want to pay. This app you have to pay to use but then stops working week later.
I like the app but when I subscribed to a ONE month subscription they charged it to my account 21 times. BE CAREFUL if you plan on debiting your account $4.99 Make sure you have a few hundred dollars in the account so you won't get overdrafted!
Extremely useful if you can figure it out. Developer I want to donate you a dollar cuz I feel bad I don't need all those pins I'm good with just the number that comes in the trial. I don't see how people can be complaining about something free that works.
I purchased premium service but app stopped working at all. There is no option to contact support. Don't pay them !
App needs make oclver and updated features like que size at airports, means number of cars available in the check point. Ver important feature.
I really dislike having to uninstall and re-install to get notifications. Irritating.
it's a scam! I paid for the yearly subscription and then it doesn't work anymore... no matter how many times I uninstall it and reinstall I keep getting service "unavailable"... I want a full refund. but the website doesn't exist, and neither does the email.
