I have had this app installed for almost a year now and have only earned 3800 points total (that's like $3 worth). I don't think I've gotten a survey for 4-5 months, despite having my GPS on 24/7 and leaving the house daily. I wanted to keep it installed to at least get one payout, but at the rate it's going now that'll be a 3 year wait to get one $10 gift card. Gift card options needs improvement as well, there should be Amazon gift cards too.
Not terrible, but it takes way too long to accumulate enough points for anything worthwhile. Some surveys only offer a choice of coupons for places I never intend on going instead of points. Stopped giving me surveys to complete after a while and all of my points expired (TOS says after 90 days, I guess it was that long since it stopped giving me surveys). Deleted the app instead of starting over. Don't bother.
I've been using this for nearly 3 yrs and although I didn't get sent many surveys, everytime I got one I answered it straight away. I've done 79 surveys to date. I was saving my points for a high value giftcard as it's better value. I haven't had any surveys for a while so looked on the app and discovered my points have gone down to 100!! I've just checked the t&c which state points expire after 90 days of inactivity. If they'd sent me surveys I'd have gone on there! Very sneaky! WASTE OF TIME!
Was good at first. then stopped receiving surveys. haven't received a survey in months. contacted customer service and they said my phone could not be seen and i needed to change my settings. nothing on my settings has changed. i double checked the info they sent. settings on my phone are fine. error must be occuring on app/ softwares part.
Unfortunately no matter where I went or what I did I never received surveys. Ever. After the app set-up "getting to know you" surveys and the initial test survey, I never received a single other survey. I emailed on two separate occasions and I was assured it would work and/or was working, but alas, it never did work for me. But for those who get the app working for them, the rewards are amazing! One of the best apps for rewards that I have seen out there!
Doesn't work on my Android. I use to have an iPhone and I had this app, it worked wonderful. I used to love it, I got my surveys, my points, gift cards, everything that they offer but as soon as I change phone from iPhone to Android the app stop detecting the places, I stop getting surveys. I left it on my phone for a while but nothing has change so unfortunately I gonna have to look for a better one.
Addendum: I USED to love this app. It WAS great. After leaving a restaurant or store a prompt would popup for a survey on my experience. HOWEVER, as of late, like so many other customers that have this app. It is HORRIBLE. Messages keep popping up about this app is for a older version......etc. This is New phone and it has not worked one time with the new phone. I am curious as to whether SURVEY MINI might be just out of SURVEY MONEY$$$$.
This app is great! I have gotten a few different offers that I actually used, and was able to get a decent meal, dessert included, for $5.21 from 2 different fast food places. Compared to what one would usually pay for, that's great. The surveys are so easy to complete, and they don't annoy you with survey after survey all day, every day.
Response to developer. I always keep up latest version & am Beta tester. I keep getting a warning on my phone about allowing SurveyMini to run is high battery user. I dont change to recommended battery optimization. I contacted support. They only went so far as to tell me that I must not have my data usage open because they didnt see the system having communication w/me. I sent them a screen shot of the setting & never heard from them again, like 4 mo ago. Human support service: ZERO stars
I used to get a lot of surveys, not any more. When I emailed customer service, they said was not on high accuracy and it is...I contacted them three times, same auto response. I have un-installed and re-installed without any luck. I have over 10, 00 credits I can't redeem. Very disappointing.....
It had worked just fine before software on my Samsung phone got updated. Then I stopped receiving surveys and after uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, I lost all my points previously earned over months of the app use. And the app wouldn't load any updates. The older version persists and I can't do anything about it. Utterly disappointed!
Since my phone updated to Android 9.0, I have not gotten anymore surveys. This app use to be great and I use to get surveys all the time. I even have gotten cards in the past, but as of late, nothing. Disappointing since I only needed 650 more points for the $25 Gift Card (about 6 surveys more). I contact support three times and they always say to.adjust my settings. My settings are correct and same issue. Support then said that surveys are location-based and I need to visit places. Uninstalled.
The App is awful. I was very close to getting a reward and then the reward gets removed. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and suddenly my username/password doesnt work. Tried the forgot password link and it also doesn't work. Please dont download this app. If I could give half a star I would.
when I first downloaded this app, yeah, it gave me quite a bit of surveys. I've earned almost 2,000 points. that sounds like a lot but you can only purchase something with 4,000 points. no less. after having the app for a certain time, it completely stopped giving me surveys. deleting
Used to use this app all the time, decided to give it a try again... every single survey either glitches out before I can finish or if I can finish it, I cant choose a reward or just dont get one.. I'll keep it and hope for the best because it used to be fun to use.. also all of my previous points I earned are gone, but still shows how many surveys I've completed.. not sure of points expire or what
Would get 1 more * if there were more options for redeeming. Would love to see Google Play and Macys added to the $25 reward level and an Amazon and PayPal option would be great at every level as well! Would gain another 2* if every survey had a point option instead of some of the surveys offering only offers. Most of the time I don't need/want the offers & would prefer to at least have the option to receive points!
