I've used this Apps 9 years in Jungle, and 15 years in Desert in Middle East. Although some of my survival Skills I have learned from Filipinos - Aetas who lives in the Mountains of Sambales, and from some Survival skills learned from Head Hunters (Igorot) Ifugao, also from Cordillera Province- Deep Jungle in Philippines. Some of their ancestors are Tribal Warlords.

This manual is not a game. It's the actual manual that was written for American combat soldiers. Get past the mission info & you will be pleased. What may be commonsense to one is new info to another. It's a great reminder for us all. As the manual says, don't just rely on a store-bought kit & book. Not making a kit & practicing your plan is nothing more than worthless paper. You will not be disappointed.

Im a 13 year old survivalist/ prepper and ive been prepping since i was 3 so im not a beginner in this catagory. But this app i would recommend if you are a beginner but if you know way more than average do not get

The game doesn't have water procurement and stuff like that for jungles or wooded areas. I haven't had to buy anything but there's multiple copies of this app that say the same things this one does. I would give it 5 stars if it had an update or an addition to it.

A minor gripe is that you can't print directly from the app. Let's face it, if you're planning on going anywhere you'll need to seriously refer to the app, there probably won't be any chance of charging your device up. OK, you can get over this by selecting the text and pasting it into a word doc. This has the double benefit of having the info to refer to and something to help start a fire with! As for the contents, it's an excellent military based app, so if it can keep soldiers alive, it'll do for me!

I really like the info provided by the guide. The app however is (a little) outdated. Also the guide could be a bit more optimized for mobile screens by editing the HTML in the webview. But good job making it available (offline) for devices in the first place.

App is great and the content is good, its just not very good looking. That's a hard thing to get right. One thing would help if you could change to night mode and have it be more like an eBook than a PDF viewer. Main screen could be simplified, the camo is distracting

Scrolling is fairly sluggish. Other apps have same info with no ads.

from us army survival guide. u can dl that in google play here. that has landscape mode unlike this one. uninstalling this duplicate and inferior version.

Because a crisis, collapse, civil and world war is being planned as we speak. This app may be all you have to keep your family alive. However, there are loads of versions of this same manual in the play store, and many do a better job. This one doesn't take up too much space (or require Adobe Acrobat) but much could be improved. A night reading option is crucial. There are SOME color photographs, which is good, but when you're using it to identify edible, medicinal or poisonous plants, you needs photos.

Its a good app but needs waaaay more illustrations and pictures to be useful in the field. Just a good "read" as it is.

It could use better and more pictures and when its showing an specific animal or plant it should have color and be a licture of the real thing or it becomes hard to recognize

Great app, makes for a great quick referance for my son and i to use while learning new out door skills.

Net downloads are of parts and pieces of other books. Most links are broken. Worthless in real emergency with no cell towers.. Better with real book on phone..

Really good guide to basic survival. Everyone should read this if you think you are going to be in a survival situation, or if you are just interested in general survival.

Everyone should download this in case they should ever be in a situation without Internet, lost in the wilderness, wondering what insects is safe to eat.

the add take too much space of the screen, making the reading mush less convenient.

I wasnt sure, when I read the previous reviews, but thought Id look anyway. Mine is excellent. Clear and easy to read. Perhaps improvements have come through. I really like it.

Won't go past the loading screen, then just shuts down.
