Most of the data used is synchronized with the Survive-ARK website. This means that whenever something changes (or a new creature is released) the app will update itself and always contain the latest information! In order to achieve this, an internet connection is required when opening the app.

Buying this was a mistake. I know it's on me for not checking the free version before buying, especially since there were at least 2 reviews before me complaining about a lack of updates. For clarification: this app has the information for The Island, Aberration, Scorched Earth, The Center, Ragnarok, and Valhalla. No Valguero, which is the very map I bought it for. As a new player, I'm unfamiliar with any other maps, so I can't tell you what else is missing at this time, only what it has.
I've been using SA Companion for over a year now. It has helped me immensely during taming! I also like the amount of customizable settings, and big thumbs up for dark mode =) However in taming calculator the kibble recipes should be updated to match the new kibble system. Also i would like to know which eggs can be used for each different type of kibble.
I play Ark recreationally, so I really don't have a lot of time to expend. Since using this app I had the luxury of pre-planning by seeing what is the most effective food for taming, and how to make the said food, this being kibble. I am incredibly happy to have this tool not only for the taming but also for its timer functions, up-to-date information, and resource management, I personally thanks this/these app developer(s) for preserving the experience of Ark and allowing me to enjoy the game.
Tbe tame calculator and crafting calculator have been a godsend. I paid for the pro version because ads are annoying, and the app is pretty good! I love the crafting calculator so that when I go farming, I can pick a few projects and know what I need to come back with!
It does have a lot of useful information on ark and a lot you can do with it to help youthrough your arking experiance! HOWEVER it is lacking a lot of information reguarding A LOT on ark!! ITS MISSING ALOT FROM EXTINCTION, VALGERO, AND THE NEWEST GENESIS!!! THE BREEDING TIMER AND SERVER INFORMATION YOU CAN ENTER IS USEFUL, HOWEVER YOU CAN NOT ADD .0 NUMBERS. SO A LOT OF THE TIME THE INFORMATION REGUARDING TAMING, BREEDING, EVEN RAIDING IS GOING TO BE OFF RATHER THAN ACCURATE AND USEFUL!NOROOM
Meh. Been playing ARK since day 1 legacy. There are many apps and sites out there that provide the same basic information regarding taming and other game info. This app has yet to update pertinent info, specifically breeding info on the new extinction dinos. I either have to know it, learn it myself, or try to find it on another app. For this reason, I give 3 stars. I would love to see the app devs actually care enough to ensure the accuracy of the information provided...
It was a great up until Genesis came out and they changed the kibble tree. They haven't updated the app in full still shows the old Kibbles and in ingredients. Some admin cheats for Primitive were never added and well as the new tek stuff.
Hasn't been updated in almost 3 years, used to be a great app, way to take people's money and run, over to Dododex I go then recommend others do also as they're actively updating with the new map's info
Was really good, however it hasn't been updated in years, so it's missing all the new maps, dinos, items, etc...
It's a great app honestly, just needs to be updated that's all. The kibble system has been completely reworked for one.
More dino info such as utilities would make it one stop searching and new kibble recipes would be nice. Otherwise, great app.
Only thing it's missing is the new kibble recipes. It shows taming based off of new kibble but doesn't include the recipe for it.
This app gets it done. Pro version is worth the 1 time fee. Hasn't crashed or caused issues.
Paid for no ads because I'm a die hard survivalist irl and Ark helps me live that. So having ads slow down my game play was not what I wanted and this app is worth every penny.
Very useful app, simple to use and accurate. Would give it 5 stars if it had the new maps and creatures

The app was good, but it needs update 2 years since last update on it and alot of stuff has been added to the game.

Easy UI, helpful information and calculators for when you just don't want to Tab out to see it on your browser. Not perfect, it lacks some things and some data seems to be off, but I've had very few of those encounters. Overall, I appreciate the quality of life and convenience of the app. Well worth the few dollars I paid for it!
