Loved this game and played it on and off for 100 levels before the Gamesclub nonsense. Never have I seen a more nonsensical, greedy, and intrusive paywall. I played for a hundred levels now all of a sudden you need my email and a monthly subscription? They took an otherwise great word game and time killer, and pretty much slapped everyone across the face because they want to milk someone else's product for every cent they can. Disgusting, don't waste your time.
I love the Sushi Cat games! They're great to pass the time when you have nothing better to do. However, the game makers are in need of a dictionary. I wouldn't recommend it for children unless they looked up the vocabulary words that are listed. I've played about 220 levels, and discovered that many words in the English Dictionary aren't counted. Also, common English words such as "caring" aren't recognized as words. Again, parental/teacher discretion is advised.
What a ripoff! This used to be a FREE game, now I have to either buy it or use some stupid premium currency? I don't think so! 5 minutes of play at a time is a CHEAT! Uninstalling now. The devs must be REALLY STUPID PEOPLE if they think that telling me I can buy a subscription is going to change my mind after I've already said I'm not going to pay for this game! I will certainly never get a subscription. Why on earth would I want to support this incompetent evil company?
This used to be an adorable fun game, I'm disappointed they're so money hungry now. Thank goodness they haven't touched the original Sushi Cat game, that would be utterly disappointing. I'll be back to play when the paywall comes down, but for now, no way.
Why do I have to pay for a $5 subscription to play this game when it was previously free? I played through at least a thousand levels before this change.
You should give points for going up in levels. A fun game. Friendly. Give points for finishing a level. It is more encouraging.
Maybe instead of paying monthly...cant you just make us pay once for the game and get on with it? Its a word game with a blue cat. Why pay monthly. It should be one time only even if you make us pay 5 or 10 bucks. Why need a subscription ???????
Why even make the game free to download when you just gonna have one level to play and 99% of the game is locked? Terrible its not different than the totally free word games, a waste of time.
The game is too short if you don't pay money. And it's ridiculous to be posed as a free game if to actually play for any length of time you need to pay a subscription. Very disappointed in the game.
I really like this game but find the ads intrusive and disruptive since I like to listen to stuff while playing. I wish I could pay to remove adds.
Would rate it higher, as I generally enjoy the game, but I discovered that it includes obsolete words or obsolete spellings of words. Fix that!
Awful pay-wall. I have never gone out of my way to leave a comment on Google play, but I have never seen such a ludicrous pay wall in my life. You can't just put stuff on the Google play app and then beg the people to pay money for a game that has been made over a million times. Did I mention that it is unoriginal too? I have played thirty different games like this (that are better, might I add) and you are going to make a demo... come on at least try and make a game.
This is the worst game ever. It only lets you play the first twenty levels and then on level twenty one you have to pay a stupid monthly five dollar subscription. Its so unfair i was having so much fun playing it and now im so disappointed i will uninstall. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Tutorial levels are free and then you have to buy an overpriced subscription to play the actual levels. What a joke.
Fun game utterly ruined by an ever-increasing amount of unskippable ads. I'd get a paid version... but there isn't one. Uninstalled. Sad.
Great game. Sadly, as always, too many ads for no reward at all in exchange.
Fun game that can keep you entertained for a few minutes or a few hours. Some words are frustrating but it makes it more challenging.
The dictionary is frustratingly bad. The game doesn't recognize common words like 'ever' and there is no way to suggest words that need to be added.
This game was great until all this paywall stuff showed up. I had the full game logged into google play before the paywall showed up, so I wanna know if it lacks the paywall for me if i log in again.
The rest of the game beyond the first level is locked behind a paywall, this wasn't here before. If this game isn't free then why not just advertise it as a paid game? This is a total ripoff
Don't waste your time! The ridiculous paywall ruins everything before you can even enjoy playing. Disappointing, greedy cash grab.
So education and adorable. Great for kids and adults! Update. The ads make it impossible.
I am in love with sushi cat! This developer is becoming my favorite. Thank you for entertaining me with awesomely fun games!!
Gameplay is decent, but the amount of full screen video ads is absurd.
Not a free game. Require a paid subscription to play for more than 5 mins ever. Utter garbage ad grab
Couldnt even start the game without making an account dont like that sort of mandatory sign up thing.
I DON'T WANT TO BUY A SUBSCRIPTION TO PLAY A GAME THAT WAS FREE LIKE, A COUPLE YEARS AGO! YOU GUYS ARE CHEAP, MANIPULATIVE, JERKS WHO JUST WANT ALL MY MONEY! I CAN PLAY A FREE VERSION RIGHT NOW ONLINE! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
Doesn't work all the time. Stops making words & only does single letters
The game is fun, but you're practically FORCING us to pay for something we dont want to pay for to go further
Cute concept, Cute game, Love the graphics. But one big thing has hit me and based off of the other reveiws, The price for the rest of the levels. I am only a child and I managed to beat the first twenty levels in the game in one to two hours so either i'm a genuis or the game is a little bit small for people like me who can't get the full version. What originally drew me to this game was because it has most of my favorite things combined but now i've realized what the game is really like.
