Doesn't seem to have products from Australia? Also found scanner impossible to use. Failed on 3 attempts on 3 different products. When I search manually everything came up green light which is good as I was expecting more shocking results. This suggests that a lot more products are sustainable than I thought?
I love how this app empowers people to make conscious decisions. Only thing i would recommend is for the app to also help read products that don't contain any palm oil. Because it's not clear when scanning. I could be buying a sustainable product but because it doesn't contain palm oil, it doesn't specify it clearly and it can still make other people think it's not a sustainable product.
App no longer works apparently. Bummer. Used to find this app very handy when shopping for things like peanut butter. Tried it several times today, both by typing product keyword in search and also scanning barcode; neither worked.
Doesn't seem to work anymore. I kept getting error messages, and the product list is quite limited. Nice try, though, CMZ! Here's hoping you or another group gets this working. It's definitely needed!
Accurate and provides really helpful alerts when needed. It's a great quick way to get information on palm oil in products, especially when I'm already out shopping.
Very easy to use. All popular products with palm oil are listed. Very informative too. I love the layout! Download this now, and please tell your friends.
I downloaded this app because i thought it was associated with the local zoo in Colorado Springs as a way to buy tickets online, not the case whatsoever. It is a great way to provide financial support for wildlife conservation but not what i had in mind when i chose to download it.
The information on this app is incorrect. Doritos, Pepsico products do not use sustainable palm oil. This is pretty common knowledge for those who care about where their palm oil comes from and a quick Google Search will back that up. Such a good idea just sad the information is incorrect.
Anything I can do to help with saving our planet and wildlife as well as the wilderness
Great app. Thank you for making a difference wherever you can!
Hard to use and not very clear
Very helpful and easy to use
Love this app so easy to use. Helpful to use when shopping.
Very helpful 👌Easy to use
Amazing!!!! Thank you for making this app!!
This is a really great app, works very well.
Really good at knowing good companies from bad
I LOVVVVEEEEE how it helps me save animals and more
This app states that Colgate palmolive has a good rating for their use of sustainable palm oil. Greenpeace put out an article last month stating that they soure from one of the worst palm oil traders actively involved in deforestation. Highly misleading.
RSPO has no real ways of chewing the sustainability of their products.
Incredibly useful app
Yeet this app finna lit
I want to apologise for the dumbass that commented below, swearing at u for the app not working correctly and saying Doritos don't have palm oil in them. Ok, for 1: the app is meant to tell you whether the palm oil is sourced sustainably, douchebag. So yes, Doritos do have palm oil in them, but they source it responsibly. OMGdaDPS, DICKS OUT FOR HARAMBE!
I'm disappointed. It's a great idea, but I tried scanning things I have at home and none of them were found. Now, maybe that's because they don't contain palm oil, maybe it's because they didn't join the table, but it'd be good to know why it doesn't come up as I don't know all the 48 different names for palm oil and therefore haven't got a clue if the things I have contain any palm oil, bad or good. Deleted the app again.
Okay, so for all of you who are confused about what the heck this app is supposed to do, it's not telling you what has palm oil in the ingredients. This app is telling you whether or not the palm oil used in the product is sustainable and comes from a resource that does not harm animals sutch as orangutans, tigers, elephants, etc. This app is supposed to help you know if the products you buy are environmentally friendly.
Easy to use and I liked the option to email the companies
Such a wonderful way to help save the orangutans!
i am trying to find an app that will tell me if Palm oil is in my product that i am buying cause i am highly allergic to it, it is life threatening , have found severely people like me, would like to know if anyone reading this would know how to let the government know, maybe they would do something like peanut Allergy, hope this app works and lets me know in Palm oil is in the products i buy cause it is life threatening, i have not tried this app yet but hope to when i go out
I have seen 'Before the flood' and all the companies like Unilever, Doritos, lays, Colgate Palmolive, etc which they showed are causing rainforests destruction for palm oil which is not sustainable are being shown as they use sustainable palm oil in their products which is completely false . Please don't trust this app and install it , it looks fake and must be reported for showing false information.👎
I used this app for years to make better decisions when buying anything packaged. The past year though, it literally just doesn't work. I scan and it brings up a page with links about the app. I have uninstalled & reinstalled a number of times. I used to use this constantly! I really really hope they are able to fix this! It is so disappointing now.
