Suzy Cube

I really want to like this game. It goes for that Super Mario 3D Land feel, and does a great job. But the joystick and options for it are terrible. It's either too sensitive or not sensitive enough, that's it. When precise jumps are required, control completely falls apart due to the joystick. 95% of my deaths are from falling off a ledge due to turning too quick or too slow. If the joystick was given more tuning options, this would easily be the best 3D platformer on the Play Store.

Good, but doesn't work with my Bluetooth controller. It is essentially a super Mario 3D land clone but is actually really well made. I would love to play it with my ipega red Knight controller but it just doesn't work. For whatever reason the game only lets you jump with the trigger button. No other buttons do anything. The touch controls are fine but the virtual joystick isn't always precise.

Fantastic platformer. Not enough games like this on the app store and it was well worth the price. Only thing is, the acceleration of the character feels a little off and the virtual joy stick could do with a little tightening. These aren't so bad that it ruins the game as the controls still work well, just a little tweaking and it would be so much better.

Pros - Great little time killer. Makes you think of the 3d Mario games which is nice. Controls are great for a touch screen! Though the initial acceleration could have a bit more power. Cons -Game play can get a little repetitive . Some levels require you to out run the screen. Or stop the screen from crushing you. This can only be achieved if the restart moment is in sync with the levels moving items working with you.

A well polished and enjoyable game. Smooth difficulty curve, well designed environments, cute characters, and great music are just a few of the things that make this a worthwhile purchase. If you liked collectable based games, like Banjo-Kazooie or Mario 64, there's a good chance you'll like this. The stars hidden throughout the level give reason to replay levels and explore further. Even on replay, the levels seldom feel repetitive. The controls could be better and there are times when you may be fighting the camera angle and invisible joystick to get Suzy to move or jump where you want. Not having a visible joystick on the screen makes the UI less distracting, but it can make it difficult to define the limits of the control you have over Suzy. For me, I would find my left thumb sliding over the middle and right side of the screen. There could be more consistency in the use of directional shadows. When the directional 'high noon' shadows are in effect, knowing what Suzy is over is a lot easier. When there are no shadows, it can be difficult to discern her position, particularly over enemies, etc. Even so, I readily endorse this game.

Fun 3D platformer brought down by not very good controls i like a lot about this game, it can be really fun, but the controls just aren't that great... I dont know why but they feel really off on mobile. I'm sure with a controller it would be fine, but making turns can feel awkward with the lack of an image of a joystick like most mobile games have. That being said, a lot of the levels are fun, and if you can get used to the controls the game is enjoyable!

Reminded me of Super Mario 3D Land (Which is a good thing). The controls are a little weird at first, but they are very easy to get accustomed to. Level design is perfect for a touch screen 3D platformer, and comparable to Super Mario 3D Land. Graphics are amazing and the game runs extremely well, even on my very low range phone. I had lots of fun with this game!

I have many things to say about this game. First of all, this game is incredible and has so much potential! Every level is unique, the different hats, bosses, etc! Definitly worth buying! I have no complaints, but I do have some ideas for what you guys could add! Maybe a quality option, the graphics are great as is but it could be worked on a little more! Second thing, an online mode. It Would be really fun to play with friends! One more thing, add the game to PC! You guys deserve more downloads

This is a very fun game, reminds me of Super Mario 3D Land. However, even though the touch screen controls work fine, I prefer using a controller and my MOGA XP5-X Plus does not work with this game. It can only jump with the shoulder buttons for some reason. Can you please add support for this controller?

Suzy Cube was a wonderful experience, and I generally don't enjoy platformers. The difficulty was frustrating at times but continuously rewarding. The music fits level theme and the graphics are polished, all the while playing smoothly. It was a well-coded game and ran without much lag the whole way through. Kudos to the devs-- I hope they consider continuing the series!

as an avid fan of the 3d Mario games, I love this game! my only problem: the controls feel awful. I always have to guess where I last had my finger centered. causes a lot of mistakes in platforming. also, turning/changing directions with the d-pad feels too sharp, causing further platforming mistakes (instead of 8 directions, make turning omnidirectional?). the d-pad dead/walking zone is also too small imo. fix the controls and i will ☆☆☆☆☆! :) i love all of your games, noodlecake ♡♡♡

Overall really fun app. I want to point out glitches though. The blue pad sometimes activate the pause button causing you to get stuck if you have to jump to multiple blue pads. In the second level you get stuck so long you run out of time. When you run out of time you loose all your coins. For a 5 year old this is impossible. For an adult like me it's unbeatable when the glitch keeps popping up. My other reccomedation at least in the second level is place the blue pads closer to one another.

This is a very fun game! Although I have some difficulty with the controls, because sometimes I have trouble moving in tiny spaces, but overall. Very fun and cute game! Very fun! Although maybe the joystick could be given a button to fix the control issue I mentioned, still very fun game!

Literally the best game ever, it starts off easy, then it gets challenging. There are great boss battles, and once you finish them, you get a sigh of relief as you realised you have completed the level. The idea of getting the king and queens money back is great, but not as great as the power ups, and the game itself. This is a fantastic game, and I really hope for future updates!

Designed very well aesthetically, and I've enjoyed it overall. The joystick is difficult to control at times, and it resulted in more than a few accidental deaths. You can learn to play with it, though. Achievements don't work, though. That and the joystick are my two downsides. Good game, though.

It is a great game, definitely don't get me wrong. Probably the only 3D platformer on mobile that's very good, however I have two complaints. One is that there is an option for an anchored virtual D-pad, however it does not work. Two is the achievements also don't work. It is a very fun and high quality game,just needs a few minor-ish fixes. :3

Bad game but very cute but the controls are very bad soo fix the controls and the jump is terrible! I jump like an old mule! I can't even jump on platforms! Please fix this!!! And in that one part in level one give us 10 seconds instead of 5 bc thats impossible anyway keep up the good work

Don't let the 3.8 star overall review fool you. This is a solid platformer. Yes it is pretty much a 3d mario clone. But thats not a bad thing. My only gripe is yea the controls are wonkie but it not dropping my rating. Something u just gotta get used to. If u are looking for a great platformer this is the game.

I really like it. It gives the vibe of playing super mario 3d land on android but in a new style. The graphics are really nice and the game runs very well on my 512mb ram phone and the controls are smooth. Really worth it! I recommend it to every 3D-platformer fan.. You won't get disappointed! If only the developer adds some new levels, that would be great!

Issues with the Retroid Pocket 2 (RP2) handheld. The game file selection screen is not navigable using a controller with no touch input. Maybe having one of the save files highlighted by default when that menu loads would work? Then the dpad or analog stick could move between files to select. You could make this happen only if a controller is detected. In game, the left analog stick of the RP2 is unusable (only dpad) and the jump button is set to the R1 button (not ideal). Your game is great.

A good game but damn, the movement sucks. Who decided to use a joystick control but you can't see it so it's difficult to move around without constantly running in random directions. Fix the analog stick, make it so you can see it and make it so it's fixed in one spot when you want it to be.

A poor man's Mario 3D World Gameplay can be a little slow and the difficulty can be erratic and the boss battle (singular) gets old fast... But for the price and considering the platform, all in all I think it's a fantastic little journey that gives some solid hours of fun without overstaying its welcome. With some minor tweaks to movement and more defined geometry or shadows (to better judge positioning) I think this could be an absolute hit. Hope we get a sequel!

Very much a 3d Mario inspired game. Disappointed there is effectively one boss with a few different strategies. Also falls short in any innovation, nor does it have the charm and variety of a true Mario game. Works for what it is but don't expect greatness. That said this is an enjoyable experience.

Great classic 3D platformer! Reminds me of the old Mario games, mostly Mario 64! Great gameplay and my PS4 controller synced well while playing this on a nice big screen tablet. I see people complaining about the controls but come on, this is a platformer! You can't play these games on a touch screen. Just get a good controller like a PS4 one or other big brand and play it that way it's wayyyy better. 😁

This is simply the best platform I've ever played on the Play Store. Gameplay and level design are strikingly similar to the ones of Super Mario 3D Land (available for Nintendo 3DS), which is a good thing. The touch controls are great IMO for a touchscreen (despite what many other reviews say): they are an analog stick on the left (floating or fixed) and a jump button (right half of the screen), both totally transparent. It fully supports external controllers, tested with Xbox BT controller.

Played the first few levels, the game itself is fun, but the controls are abysmal. I have no clue where the invisible joystick is facing and I haven't seen any option to get a visible joystick. You constantly have to stop just to chnage direction.

This game is the closest thing to mario 3d land that we can get for android. Its a 3d land clone done right. Graphics is easy on the eyes, nice and clean (The main character design is too bland though). Controls takes a bit time to get used to but its fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

A nice little homage to 3D platformers with great control on a touchscreen. The game saves at mid-level checkpoints, so it's easy to pick up and put down when you've got a few minutes to spare. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from this developer!

This was quite the game, has a lot of levels and challenge but does have some flaws. The graphics are great and everything is climbable. The levels get more and more complicated and is a great difficulty curve. There's a story but not much but still fun. The gameplay changes up each level per world but then becomes a bit of routine for each world, all have a platform level, a go up level, a go down level, a puzzle level, etc. There's bosses at the end of each too but are usually the same in some way, though still challenging. There's also hat power ups but you need to finish the level to keep them or get more. The flaws come in the controls, they don't work quite as well with the challenges. A lot of levels have platforming challenges or are timed in one way or another and when trying to jump from one place to the next it's hard to keep momentum and you'll stop short mid air. That, the inability to get power ups outside of levels and that it's a paid game is why it gets three stars but that's not bad and still recommend buying

The game is clearly inspired by super mario 3d land/world. It's made perfectly. One of the best android games I have ever played. And easily the best 3d platformer. I play using an Xbox series controller in my tablet and touch controls on my phone.Both work flawlessly. Congrats to the developers
