This app is an absolute beast! This is probably the easiest and fastest way to verify the manual analysis for assignments etc. I know this is a lot of facilitation even though the software is freeware, as an improvement, introduction of settlement, and springs would be nice.
Nice app, but with one BIG minus - there is no library of steel profiles to choose from... so every time you need to input data for every single profile - very inconvenient... On the market there are much better free apps (Frame Design is the one very good).
I am from Nepal currently studying in Trinity college in Dublin. Our lecturer suggested the classroom to use the app for structural analysis which I have been finding quite helpful. There's definitely some work to be done to make it more accessible and a better experience but overall a very good app. Had to leave a comment, Proud moment I guess!
Great app but they don't seem to respond to emails, I'd like a feature added to rotate the fixed support for vertical fixed supports, currently there is only the ground one. I emailed twice, today and 27th may. I managed to fix the problems I had.
Hi. I like this app but I have a problem with the update. When I change the units from S. Metric to UK. The part of uniform loads happens something. For example: When I type 10 klb/ft change to 3.047851 klb/ft. And I don't know why. Please I would like You fix that..
I have some unknown problem with setting of a second internal hinge in model. First hinge I can set and edit placement without problem, but second I can't edit placement. I'm trying to move by manual editing the position of second's hinge but first hinge moves instead. Something is really wrong with internal hinge placement and editing.
app is helpful for getting fast results for 2d frames. I loved we can change the type of loading with its orientation. Also we can get other results other than sfd,bmd. Overall i like this app and i recommend it to use compare to other apps.
The only downside I see is the overlapping labels. The displayed values should be able to adjust their font sizes depending on how you zoom it. Support for complex loadings is what I am really expecting
Keeps crashing. The app keeps crashing whenever I generate a report. Please help or fix this.
Smart app! Thankful. One issue found, it get crashed while generating report of multi story building.
Very powerful for beginners. It is actually help me out to learn analysis of structures. it was my first friend better than my teacher. Don't go for this and that app . Just check out this app . All your necessities may be satisfied.
I'm from Philippines π΅π. I would like to recommend this app! Been using this for 3 years and it helps a lot in verifying my reactions, shear&moment diagrams, and many more. I like it a lot since you can generate your work in pdf.
If you make continuous beam than something is not ok... but still pretty close... You get two different deflection and forces on each side even though the construction is symmetric...

One of the best and user friendly app for students and engineering professionals. Really appreciate the time and effort the developers has put in for creating such a handy tool. Definitely deserves a 5 π rating.
Very helpful app ππ the only issue I had with it is that there's no way for me to take soil reaction in consideration sometimes we don't need to use hinged of fixed supports but instead there's for example a tank rested on soil and I can't simulate the bearing capacity of the soil
Excellent ! But frame layout in output file too small can not read. Frame drawing output in pdf file will be better if in landscape layout.
Fully satisfied! Easy to use for beginner. Suggsstion: please add clear button so that user can clear the designed structure and start again from scratch.

If you are learning structural analysis, then this app is best for comparing manual calculation. It has amazing features and it also generate output file.

App is good but feature of rotation of hinge support and fixed support is not provided, we can not naming nodes and members and I section property is not provided, grid removing option is available only in Free body Diagram view.
Cant solve a 2 storey frame when a horizontal point load is at joint. Previous version was better
Great for engineering practice problems. And the graphics are superb. My compliments to the app's developers. Lately,however, in the bending moment diagrams (frame element), the numbers such as newton-meters for example , the numbers on the bottom of the diagram has not been as accurate as the computations from the engineering formulas. Could you please look into it and inform me? I would greatly appreciate it. Also, it might be my android phone. I'll have it checked with my mobile phone store.
