It's probably moot to leave a review here as it's quite apparent that swanncloud doesn't give a fig how subpar and nonperforming their software is. It had tons of issues before including failure to send notifications, continuously offline cameras and failure to capture and play back events. Recently, mine has completely stopped working, period! A miserable end to a miserable abysmal performance! And the cameras without the software are useless!

Regret the day I bought into Swann cameras. Always off-line on a wired connection, App will not fully open before crashing, when it occasionally opens no live feed can be retrieved to set there field of view. Only still there because I cannot afford to change them at the moment. Do not do it!!!!!

Doesn't work with Android 9 on Pixel2, nor can I get it to work on Samsung tablet with Android 8. Also cannot view video when connecting directly to the camera via IP address with Windows unless I use Internet Explorer.. Chrome and Edge won't run the necessary extension anymore. Update: it's a year later and a new phone (Galaxy A70) and it still doesn't work

Utter garbage. Live feed wasn't working at all for MONTHS but the Apr 21 fix only half fixed it so now live feed goes offline at 00:28 every night, yet events still record and are viewable remotely. Almost a year later and still no fix nor even a word from Swann. Abandonware.

Update 3/2021. I decided to get my camera out of the box in the shed and try and give it another chance.. well I am still experience issues with it not displaying the live feed and I can't playback about 8/15 events. I thought that the update at the start of this year would have fixed a lot of previous issues but nope. What a waste of time and money so trust me don't make the same mistake I did

I've two ADS-446 installed, and it used to work with SwannCloud, but after the newest updates, the notification doesnt work and no events for intrustion appear in the events list. I called for tech support but she said this model doesn't supports notification, which obviously ridiculous!!!

It has got even worse if that's possible! Now I can't even delete or view my videos, keeps saying I've already marked my limit even though I have nothing marked! Play back doesn't work, preview doesn't work, notifications don't work. If only their was an alternative app to use.

Update: I have managed to scan both the old AND the new QR codes but both end up with a message telling me the camera could not be registered and to use the old QR code. Still an absolutely useless piece of junk. Old Review: Camera just keeps bleeping continuously and will not connect through the qr code. Absolutely useless.

App has not been updated in ages! Event video playback does not work.. Push notifications do not work.. seems like the app developers only want to spend time on the newer swann apps and have given up on this one.. in that case i want reimbursement so i can buy a camera with a service that actually works!

Its hit or miss. When it works like it should it is great. But the cameras are difficult to set up. It takes 10 minutes to register the camera then it gives you an error message saying that it failed to register. The live view can take a while to load.

near impossible to connect to wifi, excruciatingly falls off network constantly, records change in shadows but not actual living things moving, hadnt worked since november 2019. used to work ok but i guess they are trying to force us to buy new cams now by clogging up the app and making it unusable

No longer works! No preview unless you are within 20ft of the camera. Have sent emails asking why this is happening. No-one has responded to emails. Buy yourselves a better camera, its not worth the hassle with this company. Everytime they do an update. The software never works properly! !!!

App hasn't been updated in almost a year. Doesn't work correctly with Android 10, stopped pushing notifications and you can't view viedeo from events any more. Forced us to go with a different brand. Avoid

This app is by far the worst I have ever tried using. It, and the cameras are always crashing and for the past few months there has been no live streaming. Customer service is non-existant, not replying to my request for suggestions as to what I can try to recover the streaming. Never again will I be buying Swann, nor should anyone else!

Notifications from app stopped working after updating phone software to Android 12. Please fix asap.

Live feed no longer works. The recent fix has not 'fixed the issue. I've had nothing but problems with this camera so it's going in a drawer somewhere and will be replaced with something usable.

The app continuously says that they are working on a fix because the cameras are not viewable through these swan cloud app. I've had these a connected almost two weeks now and they are still not working.

have contacted you in the past with no success, when I open the app a pop up shows up telling me to check my email for verification, nothing ever shows up in my e mail, really annoying, been dealing with this for about 2 years now

Tried for HOURS to get my tilt/pan camera to register. Finally called Swann. Eventually got connected after I created a new account (against supports recommendations) Hung up the phone, disconnected the camera to relocate to another area of the house and have been trying for MONTHS to get the camera running again. Swann said to uninstall the app and reinstall (to just RELOCATE a camera?!) Did not work. Now they want me to install on another phone - BS. I dont have another phone to use!

Notifications no longer work, it crashes regularly and lacks features which used to be in older Swann apps. Dreadful app. I've given up on Swann cameras and have moved to Arlo now.

Terrible ,crashes constantly, clunky and recently you can't get live view to work unless your phone/tablet etc is on the same network as the camera's - pointless and useless!!!

This app is completely useless. It wont allow push notifications and crashes constantly. The last two updates have ruined this app. My expensive cameras are useless without an app that works.

Have had this camera for 3 years and it is consistent, it's consistent at not working. It's always offline and it want record events and if it does record you can't view it. What good is it? Please do not waste your money on this brand buy any other brand just don't buy Swann

BADDDDDDDDDD, app doesn't playback any video, cameras are constantly offline, doesn't worth how much I paid for the cameras 👎👎👎 One star is too much to rate this app, the cameras and the whole experience, I feel like I should get some sort of compensation. IT literate here, so is not like I haven't tried making it work

Device will not register to wifi network. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT'S USELESS!!!. The product description is false and i am suprised no one has filed a lawsuit against swann Australia. The product manual is only helpful for the physical hardware and there is no built in app support for troubleshooting. The website is no help as well 5 thumbs down swann.

All used to be fine, last update, not long ago the events play, but only the sound, no video! Swann please TEST YOUR APPS before you update them please! Now i can't see events, just hear, useless!

C'mon swann abide abide by Google Play's policy and fix the app. I will not puchase a paid service until you update this app and fix the bugs...arlo and othe ebay cameras work great but this is a bug ridden app with no support...maybe your wanna blame CORONAVIRUS for you delay but never stopped people working on it from home I'm sure. Bloody poor service.
