DVRx-2500 models ARE NOT supported with SwannView
SwannView supports the following features: Multi-channel viewing with 4 cameras on screen at the same time. You can capture still images, and save these to your local photo gallery and also control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely. SwannView also supports both profile and landscape viewing modes. The video stream is sent directly from your DVR to your phone without being routed through 3rd party servers.
To use SwannView on your Android handset:Tap + on screen to add camera, on next screen Tap "Add" at top right and enter your DVR's details. To add cameras to the main screen, Tap + on screen, Tap DVR, Tap Camera to show. After successful connection to your cameras, next time you use app, Tap + on screen then Tap Play at bottom left to restart your previous camera selections.Use phone's "back" button to stop streaming and close app.

Two messages on this app (tried many others): "Connect to server successfully" then a few seconds later- "No response!" Literally no Swann apps work correctly. HomeSafe View is the only one that semi-works, but most features don't show up unless you close and open the app about 100 times, then the playback, record, and other functions show up in the menu. Seriously buggy software, old and outdated.
I've had numerous issues with the app working and I've had to call tech support several times. Right now it still is not accessing my system.
I can get it to say Connect to server successfully, but play a picture? Not a chance. Such rubbish. Second Swann app I've tried so far to no success.
Connects to the Server but refuses to display any video - waste of time. :-(
Just stopped working. Says connect but no video. Works on ISO but not android anymore.
Stupid new additions made this purchase get thrown off my deck. Wifi seams way harder to conect which id the whole point !deservee.5 :-) :-) :-
the app doesn't workâ°on my phone. All I get when I try to use it is it failed.
Doesn't work with new phone last updated application was in 2011.
No updates. Regularly stops working on mobile data.
Another pathetic app which doesn't work on new android phones....wake up developers this has been going on for over 6months now
I guess its working but i cant get the cameras to all show at once unless theres something im doing wrong

This app is an old ancient app, swann has not done any update. For this reason I do not recommend swann camera systems
Worst brand of cameras. Huge mistake going with Swann. Always problems
Customer service aren't very helpfull whrn you have an older CCTV system

You know I used to like Swan products, but I guess that was before I got to really know them. I wish I could say better things. But even when you want to call this company you have to wait a long time every time. So as far as customer service goes it's like nonexistent. I've had problems with my Swan since the beginning. They replaced my Envy are twice and it still keeps restarting on its own whenever it wants. And inevitably it always misses the shots that you really hoped that you captured.
