Swarm Simulator: Evolution

I find this to be a satisfying, visually appealing idle game with a neat concept and decent interactivity. It is a great surprise to see a decent amount of effort put into an idle game. That being said, I wouldn't get too into it if you don't have $10 laying around for the "no ads pack." You may think "oh, I'm fine with ads", but its more than that. It additionally improves the speed at which vital resources are generated, meaning you aren't stuck looking at the screen for twice as long.

This is a very well put together game, the graphics are just right for the feeling of the game. The thing I like most are the core machanics, you don't have 1 resource that you collect and get things that collect it faster, you get something to collect it and something to collect that. It's all very simple yet nuanced. The music is okay but I wish it was longer and had variations based on what you are doing, that way it would be annoyingly stuck in your head after the first 10 minutes.

I love the game. Progression in this game feels rewarding. It's a great way to kill a few minutes. There was even a new update that now shows the total units you gain from entomology. For example if, if the base amount of units you would gain is 30, and you have entomology up to 100% it would show the total of 60 (30+30) on the HATCH "button." After you press the HATCH "button," the units you gained from both your base, then your entomology bonus pops up, the first being your base, then the entomology bonus. This makes it easier, and more accessible to tell how many total units you get, instead of either having to guess, or do the calculations yourself.

The game is simple but fun. You can't buy your way to the top so easily like other games but it's nice like that. Of course the game can continue while you are offline to and that helps make progress but for the most part it's within reason. All in all a simple but fun game and easy enough to get started with yet slightly complex enough to keep your intrest.

Great cookie clicker/tycoon type game. It's satisfying to play and has lots of content. The best part about this though (for me atleast) is that ads are virtually non-existent and you can pretty much choose to never see one because this game instead gives you the option to watch them for bonusses to loot without forcing you to. It's great and I really wish more games did it like this. Just avoid the "Free Crystals" button by all means, trust me. Highly recommend you play, it's lots of fun.

This game is almost perfect. It puts the "idle" in "idle clicker". You don't have to constantly check in on the game because there are no breeding timers or farms that fill up or building times that complete. So it's very low-stress. The only thing that would make it better is if there was an offline mode and some more in-depth in-game documentation.

I was a fan of the og swarm sim on Kongregate. The 3d graphics are nice, but i find myself missing the compact scrolling menus. Other than wishing for a few QOL features such as remembering upgrade settings, its just how I remember. To those who complain the game slows down, or complain about spending x amount of time on one qscension or about the golden bugs: the game is faster than the 2d version. Everything is the same except new graphics and feaures. You just need to make better choices.

I find the popup tutorial messages annoying and wish that I could turn them off. That would be "awe - some". Other than that, a nice graphical update to the original text-only game. The fact that the ads are tempting-but-optional is a nice model, not too aggressive. Thanks for that.

Love this game. But there's a bug with the territory when you reach to IX and even at VIII level of upgrades. It seems to decrease your territory per second count instead of increasing it, overlapping the higher number with the lower number whenever you buy new units. Completely erasing your hard earned territory per second points from earlier upgrades. Please give it a look.

Nice relatively simple idle game. The graphics definitely make it standout among other idle clickers. One of the few issues I found was the mutations don't tell you what they actually do until you actually unlock them. This is kinda annoying when you want to plan future ascensions or even just spending your mutagens especially when you can't "taste" them as the price goes up exponentially with each unlock. 5 star is resolved. Otherwise good game nice growth mechanic.

There's only ads for rewards, I haven't seen any randomly pop up, the progression it very rewarding and it doesn't take very long to get started, great way to waste a few minutes of time. The art is a cool polygon style and this game is the 3d mobile friendly version on the github and web version of swarm simulator

This goes out to the devs of this game, I really want to say how neat and uniquely designed the game appears and how the system of the creatures work. Another thing I want to mention is how relaxing and strangely soothing the game can be sometimes. The music is also a bonus of goodness as well. Hope to see more new cool features in the future!

Love the game, played it a lot when I was in university and I'm chuffed to bits that there's a mobile version, with 3D graphics nonetheless! My one complaint would be that when I exported my game state from the mobile version and tried to import it on the desktop version it didn't work. Fix that or explain what I need to do and I'll add a fifth star

Great idle game. The precision of calculations for unit advancement is fantastic. How well the twin and faster upgrades works makes me happy. If it wasn't for the rocket fuel aspect I'd give it 5 stars. That being said the amount of fuel needed for ascension,with how slow energy is produced is total BS. Even with the ads or the 10 dollar supporter pack, it takes way to long to gain fuel or energy which drives me crazy. The game is amazing, the energy/fuel aspect ruins it for me unfortunately.

Honestly, I was not expecting to stick with this game when I first started playing. Progression never completely stalls, so it stays engaging. I bought ad free, and feel good about it. Development is incremental and consistent. Small additions and regular bug fixes are much appreciated.

Needs a help section for contacting devs. Played this for months, got a new phone, tried playing and it started me from scratch. I hit the cloud option and it saved the new blank state and now I cant access any of my progress. Can still see my acount name in the leaderboards for havingy max achievements but cant access them. Dont want to start from scratch so its too bad.

This game by itself is appealing, but when the save data needs to be manually updated into the cloud, data loss is inevitable... And now I'm stuck in an early point in this game and lost all my purchases in it, which is really frustrating. I want a fix and a "Restore Purchases" option.

I'm only not giving this app 5 stars because, parts of the game are kind of soft locked if you don't spend some money, I say softlock loosely because it's not impossible to reach say the cannon defense that costs crystals to unlock, I feel like that part of the game is more pay to win if anything. Other than that overall good design and I've had a great experience with it.

Awesome game, beautifu art style and very balanced progression. Ads don't stop gameplay and are optional, only showing up to double production. Gems can be purchased but are acessible through playing, making the microtrasactions fell very fair. The game actually rewards you for being AFK, increasing production and making every login exciting. Overall it feels very good to play, always giving anticipation for what will be the next creature. in my opinion an excellent idle game, give it a try!

I love this game, ive acended twice now and i love it, the swarm challenges are fun although just playing around with the @ and i set it to @200B and the counter got stuck at 162B even though i could build way more than 200B, yet it got stuck. Also energy is so painfully slow to get.. but i understand that seeing as it allows you to clone your larva or something!

Very impressed with this one! Challenging and engaging, and for a rarity, NOT swamped with ads! In fact, I actually would prefer the option for a few more ads so I can help support the devs better. If you're into idle tycoon games, download this one - you won't regret it! A rare gem in a sea of greedy, poorly-finished games whose only purpose is to make money. These guys remember what entertainment is.

This just doesn't meet the standards of the original. The models are cutesy at best, no longer permitting that creepy vibe "swarm" onve suggested. Golden Bugs and Gildings are only used to encourage spending, and worst of all, ascentions now require fuel, a roadblock resource existing only to hamper progress and encourage further spending. Just go find and play the original game. That model is great. This one is not.

Game is starting to get a little boring after my second ascension. Felt like I was genuinely trying to optimize how best to invest my clicks in the beginning, but now I'm just kinda going through the motions at this point. And if I want a third mutagen upgrade it's "250 million"? Which I'm pretty sure would be at least another month away. Anyways I got a good bit of entertainment out of it so the game still gets 5 stars. I do plan to keep checking it occasionally too.

I played the original text version. It's pretty nice to see visual representations of the critters after all this time. I could do without the ads, but luckily they aren't extremely invasive yet. I say yet, because I haven't ascended yet in this one, and I'm a little worried about a pay wall in my future. If I can't play without paying I will stop playing. It's not that I think the game developers don't deserve it, I totally would give them money, I'm just poor right now.

It's a good clicky game with neat creatures. I've been playing it for years since it was a little text based game on browser, I enjoy the graphics the game finally got. I rate it four stars since there is room for improvement still (which is not a bad thing). I hope this game continues to get updates.

Its a fun progressive game. Fun and challenging. But due to the recent update, Entomology seems to be broken. I don't get the benefits that I used to derive. I get the same bugs that's displayed, no bonus
