Until the latest update the app worked well with accurate data, but it looked very ugly. With the new update, it looks modern but has way worse data, in particular for actual departure. It is now wore than Google Maps, which I will use from now on instead of this garbage.
Is it so hard to add a map? You plan your trip and it just tells you to walk X minutes to your destination, but doesn't even try to tell you where that would be. Any city transportation app can do it, and yet the SWB can't...
Bad ... Error messages only I cannot even get any information, because as soon as I try to type my departure station it shows an error message...
Widgets disappeared with the last update. Bring them back, please.

Unfortunately the public transport in Bonn is not very punctual so the real time feature of this app is essential. A shame that the app is frequently out of order due to technical reasons. The in-app ticket purchase is awesome, I use it all the time. Unfortunately that one also fails when the app is out of order...
Server is always down and errors when making payment. Bus and trams in Bonn are so horrendous that the schedule is almost pointless anyway. I've had times when I check the app as I am leaving my apartment to make sure the bus is on time and in the 20 seconds it takes me to get to the road I can see the bus driving away. Then check the app again and see that it was updated within the last 20 seconds to now list the bus as coming 5 minutes earlier. I live 2 minutes from the stop, there is no reason I should have to be waiting at the bus stop for 10-15 minutes before it is scheduled to come just to account for the fact that the bus "service" is horrible. Trams are always late or sometimes never show up at all. Buses have driven past the bus stop while waiting for them without even stopping and all this on top of the exorbitant prices they charge for such a sub par service. So while it would be a good app if it was actually accurate and worked, in reality it is a waste of time and Bonn's public transport is a joke.
It should be more user friendly.

Accurate timings, real-time updates, but inconvenient design. You have to start your search from scratch if you look at walking at directions and want to go back to your route of choice. There are also barely any real-time suggestions for destinations, which makes looking up lengthy names quite tedious.
Doesn't work for VRS region. Keeps showing some error.

Every tram stop shows real time departure times in Bonn, why not the app? Does not even show when a tram is canceled!
Counterintuitive and badly designed. Use Deutsche Bahn's Navigator instead.
This used to work quite well. But there have been periods where certain features just didn't work. E.g., there was a time when it did not accept setting addresses as start or destination points, so was then forced to search for and use official nearby bus stop or train station names instead. The problem right now, as it has done similarly before, is that it is completely refusing the setting of start or destination points of any type with '400 Bad Request'. The app is currently useless.
