Sweech - Wifi File Transfer

The premium version is quite a disappointment, for two reasons: 1. You can not display the password after you set it. This is necessary if you use a complex password. And no, that would not be a security risk, the standard android Hotspot / Tethering tool can display your password. If your threat model includes the attacker being on your phone and able to read the configuration of other apps, securing your Sweech connection is a moot point. 2. You can't generate, or at least insert, a certificate for HTTPS. That means you have to deal with warnings and exceptions every time you open the url in your browser. The two remaining stars are for the ease of use and the great UI. This is about the only app that serves a good looking page to the browser.

I have to transfer files between my pc and my mobile a lot and I was looking for an alternative to the data cable. This app made my work easier. Nice and clean UI. I love it. I did not have to create an account or install any extra software in my pc to transfer files. And also playing musics & videos and viewing photos on pc from my mobile phone without transferring them is a plus point. But I find the transfer rate bit slow. Faster transfer rate would be great.

Absolutely amazing, this is exactly what I wanted. However, when file manager apps goes in to "selecting" mode, usually all the items default to the "not selected" state and you have to manually select items you actually want to do whatever you want to do. Not in this app however, and this inconsistency has caused me to unintentionally delete 26 gb of data. I thought I was removing a single folder but turns out I was removing everything but that one folder. Frankly, not a big deal. No valuable data was lost. But I am sure this is something to consider. Besides this, everything is perfect as far as I am concerned,

Incredible App! Very nice interface. Awesome speed. And I wanted alternative for the Data cable. Just one touch on Phone. And few numbers on web browser address bar, that's it. Your are connected to your phone. Thank you so much Team. You can transfer it as much as you have Battery left in your phone. No need to keep your phone near PC/System. You can even use your data also while transferring. Best App for Data transfer I ever seen. And not a single AD. Once again thank you so much. ❤️

I am ready to like it. I was more than pleased to come across this App. It does exactly what I want and it does it quickly. Unfortunately it lets me down a lot. My phone is set to reboot every morning at 5:00 am. When I pick up my phone at 7 am I find that Sweech is sometimes not running. While Sweec running in the background will suddenly exit for reasons unknown. I also have noticed that once I return home sometimes it does not launch when my phone connects to Wi-Fi. My phone is a monster it runs perfectly fine with no issues whatsoever. Believe me as I run DJI Fly. You want a hiccup free, smooth as butter device to handle a 4k stream. I thought I had found a great app! BUT! .......I accidentally clicked on delete and it deleted all videos on the phone. No caution or second warning asking me "do I really want to delete multiple videos". And once the deletion process started there was no way to stop until all videos were gone. Shame, shame, shame on the developer! Yes it was my fault and we all make mistakes and in this case, as far as I am concerned, the developer made a huge one!

Simple clean design that's a plus for me but you can only download one file at a time or all files at once, there is no way to just select a few files. That's a ding. Also, when you try and select a file it attempts to open the file in the browser!? It wouldn't be that bad, but it's too slow to open it. My intention for this app is wireless transfer, not a player. Another ding. I need an app that I can select several files click download and regardless of how long it takes, the quicker the better, of course, should just do that. I appreciate that it depends on the size of the files but this should be able to be accomplished with just a few clicks and that just wasn't my experience. I should be able to select a few files click download and save where I want them to go, but this app doesn't seem able to do that simple task. This app is a "Nope" for me.

I just wanted to select and send a specific file via WiFi to PC through the "Share" interface and this app does it. EasyShare is bugged for me for some reason. This app is what y'all need. Edit: I wish I could give more stars! Selecting multiple files and sharing lets you download them as zipped! Loving the simplicity of this app.

was using since last 2 years for tranffering between android to mac.. but after switching to new phone running Android 11, now it can’t connect to pc. Mac is connected with hotspot, but when try to enter ip address in browser's address bar, it does not connect. if developer knows this issse, please inform solution

BEST WIFI FILE TRANSFER APP IN THE WORLD!!! I have bought premium version of Air Droid and Wifi File Transfer Pro. The free version of this app is more stable and does more than those apps combined!!! This is an expert developer who knows this file transfer domain very well. No hang-ups, no freezing, perfect robust connection and transfer!!! Highly recommend this app over everything else out there!

Thank you sir, this is exactly what I wanted,! A simple http server app that lets me upload files to the SD card on my Android phone by dragging and dropping files and folders onto a browser window. I happily paid for the premium version to support your efforts.

Lets you get files on and off your Android device with minimal fuss. Only complaints I have is that there doesn't seem to be a user manual or any documentation at all available and I can't find any way to move files around on my device via the app, only upload or download. Not in any way a deal-breaker, but it would be nice extra functionality.

Transferred files from phone to computer easily. But can`t upload files from computer to android. Dragging and dropping from file manager(Nautilus) to browser doesn't work. The upload button on the browser also fails to upload files from computer. Will give it 5 stars if my issue is resolved.

Not perfect- some options were less than immediately intuitive and a help tab would be useful, but of the many transfer apps I have tried this is the only one that successfully transferred my photos to PC without limitations or problems. It also managed without a swathe of dubious registrations and irrelevant permissions. Well done!

The app is quite good. It needs few features to be updated namely, 1. Multi-select option; It would be great if we have select option, or with the present feature it is quite time consuming to select all first & later deselect that are not required. 2. Search option; It would be great to have search option to find files

Love the app. Perfect for Android file management from Mac. My only recommendation would be to improve muti-select. ex: if I have 100 files and want to delete 2, there is only the option to select all and deselect 98 of them. Search ability might help too

I want to transfer files from my PC to Android. Nothing shows up on how to do this after typing in the URL. There is no browse files on your PC button to upload them to your device! I am going to stay with my ASUS File Manager which will hopefully work on my new Android One device.

No issues with phone-to-PC data transfer. Why the contents of "InternalStorage/Android/data" folder is not visible from PC? I had to create an intermediate folder "InternalStorage/Android/mySweech" to be able send files to phone. Good app, still very usable with the above noted addition.

Why isn't this as popular as ShareIt or Xender!?? This is much more convenient & simple way to transfer and receive files using WiFi direct. The recepient no need to install the app. Also, you can share files to laptop instantly.

Simple, absolutely worth trying the premium one if you're really into it. The App is a well built package, covers all the basic functionality without a single ads, no issues at all with SD Card or file transfers. High Five.

It uses HTTP, which means it can only transfer from the device where it's installed and running to a browser. To upload files, it's necessary to install the app on the other end and download using a browser. Password protection is only available upon purchasing.

Simplicity at its best I must say, very well developed app. I love this kind of apps which provides exactly what the functionality is. Connects smoothly across devices in few taps, and loved the UI and design as well.

Great alternative to Portal App(by Pushbullet). Finally an app that is just for transferring and doesn't ask too many permissions. Let's you transfer folders too which I've seen many other apps don't. No desktop app needed and not cloning my phone onto the web is a great plus point

Uses a web interface (web server runs on Android device) making it very simple to use from any computer. But cannot rename files or move them around. That's a deal-breaker for me.

This app is great. Does as it says. Absolutely no ads but you can buy premium subscription if you like to unlock some features. Free version is enough for average user. You can download and upload file as well. Well done, developers!!! 🥂

exceptional was an avid user of droid over wifi, but it's inconsistency and deteriorating user experience made me switch. so far so good, really liked how the app gets the job done. kudos to the developers.

Currently the best and app I found. And this magic app is free. Thank you guys so much!So suitable, contains almos all features I need. One this I miss is ability to select range of files like using Shift or Ctrl button in Windows Explorer

Excellent UI. Excellent way. I paid straight away for premium because The developer has no ads even in free version. I wish if I have the toggle option to download contents not in zip file format though. Great work!

Best ever FTP app. I was looking for a Xender alternative and this works well for PC to Phone or vice versa file transfers. Each device has its own unique IP address and that's just awesome.
