Swell Info Surf Forecast
- accurate, easy, and quick to understand! The Swell Info app is powered by Swellinfo.com, and is a simplified version of the web site which makes viewing the current weather, buoy data, and surf report info a breeze.
Currently the app covers the United States, Puerto Rico, Central America, and the just released Caribbean in version 1.3. In time, we will offer more international locations.
Save up to 5 surf report locations and easily swipe between your favorite locations. The main screen, provides you with a summary of the 7 day surf forecast, and the current weather and buoy data. The current weather includes: air temperature, water temperature, wind, tide, and buoy data. When you click on the buoy button, you can get more detailed information from the nearest buoy. Clicking on the forecast day button, will take you to the detail screen, breaking down the full text forecast for the day, tide data, and a 3 hour interval wind and swell data through the day.
Swell Info makes receiving the current weather and surf forecast info a breeze! If you are not a current Swellinfo.com user, make sure to go to the web site to see the live forecasts for the nearest locations to your surf breaks.

Better than nothing. OK as a quick reference, a backup is definitely a plus. Winds are seldom accurate, bouy info lacking at times. The bouy info is critical due to the inaccuracies of the report. Fails to update. With a little work it could be much better. Way over priced for what you get. Unfortunately I have not found a better solution.
until a few weeks ago I would have given more stars as this was my go to app for surf forecasts but it stopped working. are there plans to fix this? It used to be reliable and pretty accurate but it isn't updating. looks like the website is affected also.
Swellinfo has a good, easy to understand interface but is becoming consistently wrong and inaccurate with swell reports. I'm getting tired of driving several hours to the coast, expecting shoulder high waves with offshore and glassy conditions only to encounter victory at sea.
App was working fine until last week. Doesn't show swell data anymore and is inaccurate. Will this be fixed? Deleting app in one week if no progress develops.
Always liked this app, it had pretty accurate information until a week ago. I have uninstalled it and installed it back but it still is not working right.
App hasn't been working for a week now. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Constantly shows 1-3 ft with no hourly conditions.
I have used Swell Info for years but it has stopped working. I tried to uninstall and reinstall to get it working but it wants me to pay again. Not going to do it.
Not working for last month uninstalled and redownloaded it. Still not working. Use magic seaweed for better results.
Our agency used to rely on it, but it's been busted for almost a month. gulf coast, usa. tried contacting, no response. useless now. too bad.

Carolina Beach forecast: flat. Actual Conditions: 3-6'. This is all the time! Not accurate at all!
app is all wacked out. fix it! Aug.24 and only worse than before. I think they must have gone out of business. There are no surf forecast on this app anymore.
Loved it but now it is surf season and app is frozen on Thursday and grayed out and no other days are updating.

For over 2 months now, it has stopped working, both on the paid app and the website. From what little I have read on the forum, it sounds like the developer has lost interest. Perhaps it was his server that crashed. I hope it's only temporary. This was my go to app when predicting sea conditions. While it was predominantly for surfing, we boaters enjoyed it as well. if it ever resurfaces again , I would have no objection to paying the fee again. It was well worth the few cents that was charged.
