It is very complicated to make a price of hardware that will work software from any phone manufacturer, the reason comes down to how the device translation layer's are coded. For example what works on a android phone running lollipop will not the same as running it on jelly Bean or ice cream sandwich because there are patches introduced that may disable some functionality that was relied on by the previous build. The only way to guarantee success is to list tested phones that have worked.
As per everyone else, no maps display on Android phone so very limited functionality. For the price of this drone and additional charge for the ground control unit it should work as advertised. Extremely poor from Swellpro and very disappointing. Save yourself the money and frustration and do not purchase the ground control unit unless they fix this app. I would have seriously reconsidered purchase of this drone if I was aware of this issue.
App broken. Bluetooth won't connect to my galaxy s10 plus after trying many times. Both the ground station trx and rx connect so I know it should be working. Spent $100 for this and it doesn't work.. tried calling customer service but get no answer. I should have listened to others about getting this drone.
Dont Update!!!! use version 2.3.0 map will work there enjoy true users and to the update guy you suck in my opinion. Old version works. The problem is the map never comes up in new version. Download the app to my most recently updated Samsung phone. The satellite map does not appear. Uninstall-Reinstall twice still no satellite map. I emailed the company's contact person over a week ago no reply. What the fu....
As with others, can't see the map, can't pick up satellites, and still can't even identify the drone's Bluetooth signal (verified there is a signal through third party app, but software won't recognize it)
Basic functions work, but no map is displayed so flight planning features are useless and non-functional. Please fix!
Not Happy the app is not showing map on my Galaxy Note 20 ultra. All the money that was spent on this drone and the app for it doesn't work...something needs to be done about this and fast.

The app is absolute garbage. For the price I paid for the drone i expect more. Starting with the map.
App does not show a map, which makes it useless. This is a stupid problem to have in an App these days. Can I give less than 1 srar?
Same as the rest....! basic functions work no satelite display, usless for pin pointing the gutters.... not happy swell pro....
this app is faulty it doesn't show Google maps at all and is just a grey screen with swell pro controls .
I just spent a little more then $100.00 on something that doesn't work. No map display on Android Galaxy Note 8.

I bought my swelldrone and for what I paid I would expect that there app should be working. I have traid a few versiins now already and still cant see a map on my Andriod device... If this cant be fix I hope swelldrone will refun me as I am not gitting what I paid for and that was promised to me. Swellpro your feedback would be highly appreciated. Regards Graham
Great drone. Good quality. Why support such a disgraceful app. Unfortunately, this brings down the brand. I can't understand their reasoning...

Basically this version doesn't work. The older version actually worked. I don't get any map related to flight area. Bluetooth connectivity seem intermittently disconnected. The previous version worked. I've emailed support several times to let them know. No response. I'll reinstall the older version. BTW just in case they read the reviews, I'm running Nougat 7.1.1 update 4.30.2019 Still not working. 2.3.4 works with maps. 5/14/2019 maps still not working. Please respond. older versions worked.
