After completing the simple registration process you will be ready to receive emergency and informational alerts. Alerts from counties, towns, cities, businesses and event venues may be subscribed to on an opt-in basis. Critical emergency alerts may be received simply by being within proximity of the emergency with no opt-in necessary.
By reading your GPS location, Swift911 Public can notify you when there's an emergency at a sporting event or any other public venue. You have the option of disabling location services (GPS) at any time.
You can search for and subscribe to alerts from your town or the city you live in. You can also subscribe to alerts from other areas where your relatives may live or where you own a secondary home.
You have the ability to determine how you will be notified. Notification options include voice phone calls, emails, text messages and more! Provide information about functional and access needs such as requiring a wheelchair so that emergency personnel know what to expect if there is an emergency at your home. Attach photos of your home to your profile so it's easy to find in case of an emergency.
Voice alerts can be played back directly in the app. Email and SMS alerts also can be viewed within the app.
This app works with SwiftReach's Swift911 Alerting platform. Your jurisdiction or business must have a Swift911 account for you to receive alerts from them. If they do not have an account and you'd like them to provide this capability, please let them know.

I have this app installed on two different lg g5 with Android 8.0.0 and neither receive the push notifications for the fire company I run with. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but don't receive them. When I open the app all my dispatches are there. So this app needs work.
Not Receiving Push Alerts/Notifications Just like others have stated, I'm not receiving push alerts or notifications. This is only on Android as I have a work iPhone and it receives them just fine. It used to work on Android but stopped about 3 months ago.
Poor app it doesn't work and it doesn't send you a code to your email and phone. Don't trust this. It's a big scam.!!!!!! I have been trying for 3 months even installing and uninstalling it doesn't work. All I get is scam emails.
App is now working perfectly! Developers responded directly to an issue I had and got it fixed quickly (problem was my city, not the app itself). This app could be a life saver, literally! Highly recommend.
Very poor App and I Do Not Recommend it; uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and still no progress in registration. Certainly would be handy with this tropical storm on the way.
Twice I completed the registration after the app downloaded, received the verification code by SMS and entered it into the app, which then put me back to the login page, where I cannot login. This is useless.
Is this abandoned? It hasn't been updated since 2017. I had No issues setting up an account. Though I do have to clear the cache to be able to access the data after exiting the app.
It does not notify me when I'm getting a Storm or rain most of the time. On the rare occasion that it does and notifies me at least 30 minutes to an hour after the storm is over. I have uninstalled this.
Horrible App. You can't even register to view it. Requested registration code 2x. They came approximately 2-3 hours later and don't work. I'm deleting the App.
Giving me alerts for another county. I checked my subscriptions. I am not signed up for that county but no way to disable. I am getting an entire county's ems log. Tired of the text messages
No updates. Not getting push notifications. App needs an update, one the recognizes the newer OS since it appears last update was back in 2017
Registered in website 2 minutes ago, then tried the app and it says my login is incorrect. It's definitely correct! Website said the username would be email, but maybe that's wrong.
Can't complete registration. It tells me a pin number has been sent to my phone and it shows up too late to use the pin. It's timed out too fast!
Useless. Unable to move past the "Checking for existing user" phase. App stalls out and never progresses.
Sure reliability and trust. It's better than putting up with hear say. Too many people chatter third party gossip. No app can be blunt like this one.
This app will NOT DOWNLOAD to my Samsung phone (Android 7.0). Useless to get notification to schedule Covid vaccine time. And this is what our county is using for this!
If one is unable to get a subscription to an emergency service provider the app is worthless. I live in Los Angeles County. No ESP? Gimme a break!
Tried installing, uninstalling and reinstalling. Cannot get past registration process as it does not send me a pin # required to register.
useless. my county JUST advertised this today and it doesn't even work lol. can't register at all it just sits there and spins.
Asks me to enter a pin number that is supposedly sent to my phone but I never received the pin so I can't complete registration.
App is working well and providing updates on local road closures and emergency weather/snow conditions.
No problem loading or creating a account. Also added surrounding areas. Easy to use
Trash app. Doesn't let you register. Some one spent few hrs designing the app.
I registered and sent my 4 digit verification code and when I try to log in it does nothing, doesnt let me log in
Needs updated and accepting residents to get updates mine has been pending and not able to get alerts
Too many repetitive, unrelated notifications… areas not even close to me, flash flood which is not applicable to where I live, 11 alerts + 11 emails in one evening… way too much, especially when it's not my area. I'm uninstalling.
